Imama's heart was pounding like crazy. It was her first day at school, and she stood nervously among the new batch of students.
As she settled into her seat, her eyes landed on Jihan.
Jihan, the boy every girl whispered "Mr. Handsome" about, suddenly looked straight at her. His smile… it just stole Imama's heart completely.
"Wtf… how is he even here?" Imama muttered to herself, a mix of surprise and annoyance in her voice.
Jihan simply gave a faint smile and walked to his seat. But Imama felt as if the magic in his gaze had already cast a spell on her heart.
Class started, but Imama's eyes kept drifting toward Jihan. And Jihan… looked at her once more and gave a small, teasing wink.
Later, Imama accidentally dropped Jihan's notebook, and as their hands brushed, sparks of magic ignited between them. Their heartbeats seemed to sync instantly, forming a mysterious and magical connection.
Walking through the old rooftop corridor and past the shadowy library shelves, they both felt the presence of a ghost lurking nearby. A shiver of tension and adrenaline ran through them. Jihan instinctively moved closer, protecting Imama.
But then, Imama's foot slipped! Before she could steady herself, Jihan grabbed her to save her—but in that split second, their lips accidentally met. Their hearts raced uncontrollably. Shocked, Imama quickly pushed him away and stammered,
"Th-thank you… and sorry!"
