Chapter 5 - 5:Villainess number 1

So that was basically how I ended up saving the first and only Villainess I knew of. Turning on the light in the cross and all the lights in the church had been a desperate action but it worked. It had guided her to me.

I didn't even know where I was going to find the others but I guess one villainess at a time.

I pushed open my bedroom doors and walked in only to find her standing there in a very short towel that hugged her body very intimately.

Her blank, grey eyes swept over me, then to the clothes I was holding, and she extended her arm. She was probably still vigilant but didn't care since I had said I wouldn't hurt her.

"Clothes."

I placed them in her hands but she didn't move.

"Those are the only clothes available, we're going to have to do some shopping. Just dress, I'll be in the kitchen. It's the first door to the right."

She nodded.

[Descerning eye activated]

Her status appeared next to her.

☆PERSON STATS.

I looked at the status in shock. This woman was a walking poison and acid.

"Why are her skills locked?"

I asked the system silently.

[Isn't it obvious. Those were skills she would have had if she zombified.]

"Can I help her unlock it or is it permanent"

[You can, as long as you have villainess points you'll find the option in the shop.]

'So as long as I get those I'll be able to unlock her powers and level her up?'

[Yes. Good luck with that]

I rolled my eyes.

"Aren't you going to leave?"

Her velvet voice woke me up. I must have looked like a weirdo just standing there looking at her.

"Sorry, lost in thought. "

I shrugged and left the room for her to dress.

Right now her heart was vulnerable and too vigilant. I just needed to be her support system and she'll come right into my arms.

After all, what can the kind priest who saved her life do to her?

'Just fuck'

I chuckled at my own answer as I walked into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took out bacon, eggs, and bread. That was the only remaining food in the fridge.

The former Mathias probably never cooked or didn't live in the church.

While in the middle of cooking the kitchen door was pushed open slowly. I turned to see a very grumpy Cora standingby the door looking at me like I had killed her cat or something.

"Do I really have to dress as a nun?"

She looked absolutely stunning by the way.

"Unfortunately there is no other clothing."

I answered her calmly despite the angry eyes. She sighed heavily and nodded but didn't move from the door.

The dress wasn't your normal nun outfit. I don't know if the former Mathias bought it as a job or he was a pervert but the dress was let's say intresting but also practical for this situation.

It was your normal colour black and white but had been cut on the side until the start of her hips. Her double D cupped breasts were barely held in the dress and it left a bit of cleavage out.

In short, she looked like a very sexy nun out to seduce the innocent priest and it worked.

"Come and sit, the food is ready. You must be hungry right?"

I said to her in the most kind and warm voice I could master. Playing priest was proving to be both hard and easy despite wanting to jump her bones right now.

"What do you want in exchange. There is no way you're giving me food for free, youve already helped me too much."

She said vigilantly and didn't move from the door. Her stomach growled at that moment, betraying her.

"Didn't you already agree to give me your body. I don't want you starving before I can even use it."

I said jokingly while plating our only meal. I placed the served food on the small dining table and pulled out a chair for her.

"Thank you."

She said softly and walked in hesitantly. She didn't sit on the chair I had pulled out for her but on the other one opposite it.

I chuckled at that and sat on the chair.

'Cute'

"Let's pray."

I said the moment I sat down. She placed the fork she had picked down and looked at me in surprise but closed her eyes.

I didn't close my eyes but observed her face as I cooked up some words about blessing our food and surviving in this dying world.

"Amen!"

"Amen."

She echoed back softly before she opened her eyes and met mine. She looked away guiltily.

I knew she thought I was faking it and didn't believe I was a priest.

"If you don't mind me asking miss, why were you outside at this time of the night. You know the undead are more aggressive during this time. You could have lost your life."

I said politely while cutting into my eggs. I popped a small piece into my mouth, slowly chewed whilei waited for her answer.

"You think I want to be out at this time of the night. I'm not crazy okay!"

She got defensive.

"I'm just worried, miss, you don't have to tell me. The lord saw your kind heart and led you to me."

I said politely. I wanted to sound as savior-like as possible. Right now she was too defensive and scared of anything that walked.

She didn't respond. I sighed inwardly, this was getting annoying when I knew almost everything. We ate in silence the only sound in the room was metal hitting against glass softly. She kept on avoiding my eyes every time I looked up at her. I found her avoidance endearing.

"I'm done."

She broke the silence and stood up forcefully, the chair scraping on the floor loudly. I followed after her and we both headed for the sink where we placed our plates.

"You can look around as I clean, get familiar with the church ."

She hesitated then left. I washed the small number of dishes slowly while looking at the clean flowing water.

Since the church had its own underground source of water, I wasn't scared of contamination unlike the normal city water. By now it should have already been contaminated.

After washing and drying the dishes, I took out my phone to look at the time.

00:57

"Past midnight."

I mummered to no one. I hurriedly cleaned out the rest of the kitchen and walked out ready to face our vigilant villainess.

I went to my bedroom to see if she was inside but she wasn't, she had probably listened to me and gone to the cathedral.

I walked out of the backrooms and stepped onto the podium. I passed by the raised altar touched the intricate platform and looked around

She wasn't there.

"Hey?"

Her voice echoed in the empty church. I walked down the podium to find her seated at the corner of the first row of chairs. It was well hidden by a pillar that was why I had not been able to find her.

I came to a stop in front of her.

"Are you doing okay, you don't look well."

I knelt in front of her. This made me slightly shorter than her.

"I don't know father... should I call you Father?"

She asked in confusion. I chuckled my deep laugh echoing in the church.

"You don't have to if it's uncomfortable you can call me Mathias. "

She nodded. Her legs started to shake, a sign of her anxiety.

"I'm scared, I don't have any power and it seems that is the only thing that will help me survive in this apocalypse. "

'Clever woman'

"That is unfortunately true. The world has fallen but as I promised I'll take care of you I'm a man of my word. I made the promise in front of the cross."

I said as kindly while pointing at the large golden colored cross placed on the wall above the altar.

"But.. you cannot protect me forever i need to be able to stand by myself. I'm sorry Mathias i owe you my life but I cannot place my trust in someone when I'm this weak. I fear what happened today will repeat itself. "

She calmly said while meeting my eyes. This was why I found her intresting that resolve.

"Then tell me, miss, what do you want?"

I tempted her.

[Villainess point +1]
