Abigail's mind was everywhere.
She had a throbbing headache from passing out and waking up multiple times in an unknown span of time—which she assumed to be no longer than an hour or two. One moment she was on a Pegasus' back, and the next, she was standing in front of a door.
Not to mention, her body was shivering heavily from the freezing cold.
It wasn't an exaggeration to say that she was having one of her worst days in the First Sky.
Just as she wanted to speak, the Guard Angel pushed the door open.
Abigail looked through the door and paused—she recognized this layout.
Her breath was caught in her throat when she realized that this was her family's house in the hive. It had been months since she was here last, so she couldn't recognize the house from the exterior.
But now she realized where she was.
"Go," the Guard Angel stepped aside. "He's waiting for you."
Abigail didn't know who this 'he' she was referring to, but it wasn't important right now.
