Chapter 1 - My Phone Repair System

Chapter 1: The Strange Phone

My name is Adam. I am twenty-two years old, and I work in a tiny phone repair shop in a crowded street.

The shop is small, barely big enough for two chairs, a desk, and shelves filled with broken phones. Every day people bring devices with cracked screens, dead batteries, or phones that simply refuse to turn on.

Most of the time my job is simple.

Replace a battery.

Change a screen.

Clean the charging port.

Nothing exciting ever happens.

At least… that was true until the day the strange phone arrived.

It was late evening. The street outside was almost empty, and I was about to close the shop when the door slowly opened.

A tall man walked in.

He was wearing a dark coat and a cap that hid most of his face. Something about him felt… strange.

Without saying much, he placed an old smartphone on the table.

"Can you fix it?" he asked.

His voice was calm but cold.

I picked up the phone and examined it. It was an old model, scratched and worn, but strangely it had no visible damage.

"It should be easy," I replied. "Maybe the battery or the software."

The man nodded slowly.

"How long will it take?"

"Ten minutes."

He looked at me for a moment, then said something strange.

"If it turns on… keep it."

Before I could ask what he meant, the man turned around and walked out of the shop.

Just like that.

I stood there confused.

"Keep it?" I murmured.

People usually want their phones repaired, not given away.

Curious, I sat down and connected the phone to my repair computer.

The screen suddenly lit up.

But instead of the normal startup logo… a black screen appeared.

White letters slowly formed on the display.

"Scanning host…"

I frowned.

"What kind of software is this?"

The words changed again.

"Compatible host detected."

A strange chill ran through my body.

Then another message appeared.

"Do you want to activate the Phone Repair System?"

Below the message were two options.

"YES"

"NO"

I laughed nervously.

"Someone must be trolling," I muttered.

Still… curiosity won.

I tapped "YES".

The moment my finger touched the screen, a sharp pain exploded in my head.

Images flooded my mind.

Circuits.

Data streams.

Phone structures.

Repair techniques I had never learned before.

I grabbed the edge of the table to stop myself from falling.

Then everything went silent.

The phone displayed one final message.

"System Activated."

"Welcome, Host."

Mission 1 unlocked: Repair your first device using system assistance.

I stared at the screen, my heart racing.

At that exact moment, the door of the shop opened again.

A customer walked in holding a completely destroyed smartphone.

"Excuse me," he said. "Can you fix this?"

Normally I would have said no.

The phone was beyond repair.

But suddenly, new information appeared in my mind like a digital blueprint.

Every broken part… every solution.

The system voice echoed inside my head.

Repair probability: 100%.

I slowly smiled.

Maybe… my life was about to change forever.
