Darnel rushed through the behind door of the club to the alley , he looked left and right to see where she was.
"Sky," He worriedly called, rushing to the left , to where she was squatting down by the bin.
"You got here faster than I expected." She smiled.
"GET up," he said, helping her up, but she snatched herself from his hands, leaning back against the wall.
"You're drunk, in an alley what if some bustard takes advantage of you." he worriedly said,
"But I'm here with you unless you're the bustard," she said,
"Sky...." Darnel called .
"Then I'm sure you will protect me." She added.
Darnel sighed , very concerned at his tipsy friend
"Okay, come let's go," he said, reaching for her hand.
"Don't touch me with those filthy hands." She loudly said, pulling herself away,
"Skylar," he called, sounding more like a plea.
She breathed out heavily, bending her head and looking down at his feet.
"I would never tell you this, but I am going to because it's suffocating to keep it in. It's painful, and that makes me angry." She softly said.
"Alright," Darnel softly said.
"That bitch, whatever you call her, I don't like her, she makes me so mad and insecure at the same time," Babi admitted.
"The way you touch her, the way she touches you, how she sits on you, the way she kisses you, how she wraps herself around your body, it makes me ache so hard," she said, her voice shaking.
"And I also get jealous of her," Babi said.
Darnel sighed with a smile.
"I'm glad you now know how Nathan makes me feel." Darnel quietly admitted.
Babi giggled a bit unbelievably.
"Is this why you called her here?" She asked,
"Halfly, yes," he admitted,
"Then you win," Babi said.
Darnel smiled a bit, looking at her.
She pulled out a handkerchief from a small bag, walking up to him. She reached for his hands, wiping them off.
"Skylar?" He breathed out.
"I'm cleaning her touch off you ." She said, then moved even closer, reaching for his cheeks and cleaning them too.
Darnel was beyond speechless watching her, his eyes full of admiration.
"Is she your type?" Babi softly asked.
"Not at all." He quietly replied.
"Did you fuck her?" she asked.
"Not today, no." he honestly replied.
"Then promise me that I at least never get to witness this again." She pleaded.
"If only you take it easy on me." He said, his voice low and deep.
"Do you hate it that I called you outside?" She asked.
"There is no where i would rather be," he said softly.
"Sky, don't try to compare yourself to her. You're way better. You are so beautiful, you walked into the club and made me speechless, sometimes you even give me butterflies, and right now, I swear I could kiss you till your legs can't support you ." He said, his voice deep and very assuring.
He covered her cheeks with his hands, moved close, then gently placed his lips on her forehead. Babi held him around the waist and she pulled him in for an embrace.
" you and Marieh..." Babi quietly broke the silence.
" You seemed so close and happy with her today . I guess i should be happy for you and your future wife " Babi added.
" Sky.." Darnel exhaled , stepping back staring at her face.
" Marieh and i are just friends," Darnel softly explained.
" its not like that and will never be. Don't let that get to your head " Darnel added.
Assuring her .
" Got it " he concernedly asked .
Babi gently shook her head agreeing.
Darnel turned bending down to carry her on his back.
"My dress is not the piggyback type," she said.
He removed his jacket tying it around her waist, then carried her on his back.
slowly he walked ahead, Babi rested her head on his back gently.
"How far could your legs reach?" She quietly asked.
"Just name a place," Darnel said.
They had moved for quite some time to the streets.
" Let's get a cub," Babi said.
Darnel raised his hand forward stopping the taxi.
As soon as they got in, Babi gently rested on him. Darnel interlocked her fingers with hers.
The taxi after a while pulled over at some park.
On getting out, Babi hurriedly tiptoed covering his eyes
"Sky, what are you doing?" he asked, and all she did was giggle.
"Trust me J." She smiled and started walking him through the park, reaching some steps.
"Careful," she said as they moved down the stairs.
Don't open them yet " Babi said , losening her grip on his eyes on reaching down the stairs .
" Alright " Darnel smiled.
Babi ran into the small room at the side ,turning on the lights .
" Now open " Babi smiled standing a side.
Darnel's jaw dropped, he looked at the place so stunned to speak. A wide smile appeared on his face.
"You must be kidding me," Darnel shouted in disbelief.
The place was an old junkyard of cars, it was shimmeringly beautiful with the lights on.
"It's just the same," Darnel said happily.
"Come with me." she held his hand walking with him, following the lights to some old long truck, she climbed the wooden stairs opening the door.
It was definitely like a room, the bedding, the seats, the little fridge, and the music player, all made the inside look like a definite room. Darnel looked at her so happily. He pulled her in hugging her tightly.
Darnel was amused by the whole place .
"I would be lying if I said I did this alone, after reading that book with you, I read it again with Mr. Wood, then told him that we dreamt of having the same place like that in the book so he helped," Babi said.
Darnel entered inside the truck , looking around so mesmerised.
"Thank you for making my dream book fantasy come true," Darnel smiled.
Babi breathed out heavily looking at him. She moved closer sitting down on the stuffed cushion chair sinking into it.
Darnel sat down on the bed looking at her from head to toe. He crawled to her feet.
"I know you're not a heel person." he softly said untying her heels off her legs.
"How do you recall the little details?" she asked.
"You're all I have, Sky. You're the one I love." Darnel softly said.
"You sound so sincere saying it." she giggled pushing him a bit behind.
She stood up walking to the mini fridge getting a drink.
"I hope you don't feel thirsty, 'cause it's all we have," Babi said opening the can.
Darnel went to the music player, turned it on, and played the song ' in case you didn't know....by Brett Young.'
"Currently your favorite?" Babi asked.
"Yes, soon becoming yours." He smiled at her.
"Has Nathan ever been here?" Darnel asked quietly.
Babi looked at him quietly, she sipped her drink, shaking her head no
"It's me, Mr. Wood, Morgan, and you J." She said.
"Does Nathan bother you that much?" Babi asked.
Darnel kept quiet. The looks between them, the silence, and the time he took to answer show how hard and painful it was to reply or say something, to even think and choose the words wisely.
He sighed sitting down next to the bed.
"I'm sorry, I guess I forget he is also your best friend." Darnel finally said.
"After my father's death, when I was stuck at home, he managed to get me out, and from then we became close," Babi said.
Darnel nodded a bit, Babi watched him .
"I didn't mean what I said earlier, that he....." Babi stopped the statement midway.
"I am going to get used to him, now that he is my friend, it will be easy," Darnel said.
That awkward silence filled the room again. Just the song playing in the background.
"Stop being selfish, I'm thirsty too," Darnel said.
Babi looked at him with a smile. She tightly held the can thinking hard then stood up walking to him.
She stood before him. Darnel looked at her from toes, up her bare glowing thighs, to her curves, meeting her eyes.
Babi slowly went on her knees, her legs around his hips, her hands on his shoulder and her eyes locked in his.
Darnel was dumbstruck but not complaining. Babi gulped the drink, not swallowing.

Babi laughed falling onto the bed next to him.
"Thank you for not trying to make this awkward." she smiled.

"I don't want to hear you apologize or anything, you should know, I loved my drink, so far the best I have taken my entire life." he smiled interrupting.
They both laughed a bit. Darnel sat up removing his shirt.
"Here." he handed it to her.
"What for?" she asked.
"Are you going to sleep in that tight dress?" he asked.
Babi smiled hard at him.
"Awwww, this thoughtful bestie of mine." she smiled standing up.
"Are you going to watch me change?" She asked
"Yes, please." he pleaded.
Babi laughed walking out. A few minutes later she came back dressed in his shirt and then closed the door.
"I kind of like it on you," he said smiling
"I know, I think I rock it better." she smiled. Darnel giggled.
"Are you not cold?" she asked
"You will warm me up," he replied smiling.
Darnel opened the blanket getting in and Babi got into bed next to him.
"Don't turn" Babi said as he was turning to face her since she had laid on his back. Darnel turned back to the side.
Silence filled the room, as she gently passed her fingers on his back as if she were writing something on him.
"I love you too." Darnel breathed out.
Babi smiled widely .
"I thought you wouldn't read it," she said.
Darnel turned facing her. He moved closer holding her in his chest, Babi laughed, she turned her back to him and they ended up spooning.
"Sky, I'm loving and getting used to sleeping with you in my arms, waking up next to you, I know it's going to be hard to sleep alone." he calmly said.
"I'm one call away, Every time you find it hard to sleep then let's meet here." Babi softly said.
Darnel extended closer getting get with her in his arms .

There was noise in the kitchen making Marieh rotate around in bed in the discomfort of the noise. There was noise again, this time louder.
"What the fuck?" she burst out in anger sitting up.
Her face froze on looking at the place around her.
"SHIT" she jumped out of bed, she was in a black shirt, her clothes and shoes on her floor.
"Fuck." she worriedly cried out. Her hands in her hair rubbing her head to recall. Then there were his clothes on the floor.

"Amir" his name popped up in her head. She rushed out of the room, the apartment was not that big, from the bedroom was the living room, and next to it was the kitchen.
"You're finally up," Amir said, busy with his cooking.

"Hungry?" he asked again

Amir and Marieh chuckled.
"Good," he said then returned to his cooking.
"Good? What do you mean good?" Marieh panicked.
"What scares you the most, that we might have slept together?" Amir asked, his tone full of pain.
Marieh breathed out calming down.
"If we slept together, not remembering any of it, is what scares me most." Marieh softly said.
Amir turned to look at her, he was surprised by her reply.
"Amir .." Marieh softly called with a sigh.

" Amd I want to be with you, as your best friend, as your boyfriend as your man even though your family ass a lot of complications that i still don't get, i don't care , i just..." Amir said.

"Amir, us dating means that we are going to be each other's secret, holding you only when the lights go out, only between closed doors," Marieh sadly said.
" are you sure you want to sign up for that " Marieh asked .

Marieh smiled looking at him. Amir carried her up to the kitchen table as she held him around his neck. He joined his lips on her lips.

She stared at Amir nervously, not wanting him to hear this her conversation.
"Did I wake you up?" the mother asked.
"No, I had just woken up," she replied slowly excusing herself and walking back in the bedroom.
"Darnel?" the mother asked
"He is in the shower,..see you home, bye," Marieh said then hurriedly hung up.
She sat on the bed , pushing her hair backwards in multiple thoughts .
"Anything wrong?" Amir asked standing at the bedroom door .
"No, " Marieh said in worry.
" i have to head home " Marieh added standing up and getting dressed.
" Marieh " Amir called , extending closer to her.
Amir held her tightly from behind , Marieh sighed relaxing in his arms .

Valley Town.
The door was opened and Babi came in. On reaching the living room, all eyes were on her from Neacky, Nathan, Luna and Morgan.
She was wearing sweatpants and a jumper.
"And where did you sleep?" Neacky asked.
"In a truck." she honestly said,
"Where?" Nathan asked.
"It's complicated," Babi replied,
"Where you with Darnel, he disappeared too," Nathan asked.
"Why are you asking me of Darnel's whereabouts. " Babi asked.
" we all saw him leave with that pink hair " Babi added.
"Look, I went out to vomit since was already tired of being inside, all I did was move around ." Babi lied, maintaining a stoic poker face .
"Why didn't you call us?" Neacky asked.
"Sorry, I will do that next time," she said hurriedly climbing up the stairs and immediately closing the door behind her, she leaned against it and breathed out heavily.
Her thoughts went back to how she fed Darnel from her mouth.
"Arggghhh" She quietly screamed slouching onto her bed very regretful of that moment.
"What was I thinking?" she rolled around the bed in frustration till she dropped down on the floor.
"Ouch," she painfully rubbed her head then sat up pulling off the jumper and exposing Darnel's shirt.
She pulled it up to her nose sniffing it.
"I can still smell you in it," she mumbled.
"But why ..... " she quietly cried rolling down on the floor when her phone started ringing. She sat reaching for it in the jumper.
It had no name and the caller unknown.
"Hello, It's Babi speaking." She said softly.
"Yes, how are you Babirye?" the soft tender lady voice said on the other side.
Babi was shocked by how she completed her name and her tenderness in speaking.
"I am fine, thank you," Babi said.
"I'm sorry can I know who am talking to," she added.
"Lady Scarlet, Darnel's mother." she introduced herself.
Babi froze, too shocked to even say another word. As fear and anxiousness started kicking in.
"Are you still there?" Lady Scarlet asked.
"Yes, yes I'm still here," Babi replied nervously.
"I would like to meet you today for dinner." Lady Scarlet said, not a request like it's supposed to be, this sounded like a command.
The phone dropped from Babi's hands to the floor, trembling.
