Chapter 2: The First Invention
Naitik jumped out of the window and sprinted toward the dense forest behind his house. His heart was pounding. Behind him, he could hear the heavy boots of the men in suits.
"ARC-7, I can't outrun them forever!" Naitik shouted while running.
The Silver Cube in his hand began to vibrate. The AI's voice echoed in his mind: "Do not panic, Naitik. Use your engineering skills. Connect your solar fan motor to the cube's core, NOW!"
Naitik quickly pulled out a small motor and some wires from his pocket. As soon as the wires touched the cube, a blinding blue light erupted. The small motor didn't just spin—it transformed.
In seconds, Naitik was holding a High-Frequency Sonic Disruptor.
"Stop right there!" one of the men yelled, pointing a weapon at him.
Naitik didn't wait. He pressed the trigger. A powerful invisible wave of sound blasted forward. BOOM! The trees shook, and the men were thrown back ten feet into the mud.
"Well done, Naitik," ARC-7 said. "But this was just a scout team. The real army is coming. We must reach the hidden laboratory."
Naitik looked at the cube. It was no longer just a piece of metal; it was the world's most powerful tool. And he was the only one who knew how to use it.
