Chapter 1: The Chrono-Cube
Naitik was fixing an old radio in his backyard workshop. Suddenly, he found a glowing silver cube hidden behind a pile of scrap metal.
As soon as he touched it, a blue laser scanned his eyes.
[USER IDENTIFIED: ENGINEER NAITIK]
A high-tech hologram appeared in the air. A digital voice whispered: "Greetings, Naitik. I am ARC-7, an AI from the year 2099. The future is in total darkness, and only your inventions can save it."
Naitik froze. "2099? But I am just a student!"
"Not anymore," the AI warned. "The agents of 'Project Shadow' are here. Grab the cube and run!"
A black SUV screeched to a halt outside. Men in suits were heading for his door. Naitik grabbed his tool kit and jumped out of the window.
The mission had officially begun.
