The upper training grounds of the Wudang Sect were calm, sunlight filtering through the branches, and the cold air stinging the faces of those present. In the center of the grounds stood Huang Zheng, disciple of the great master Fu Ling, his movements precise, eyes gleaming with focus, and an aura of authority visible to all who looked upon him. Behind him, Fu Ling, his master and protector, watched every move with sharp, vigilant eyes.
Fu Ling said in a calm yet firm voice:
"Huang Zheng… remember, strength is not only in the strike, but in controlling your mind and body. You must grow gradually and understand every movement, every breath."
Huang Zheng replied:
"Master… I will focus. I will grow stronger each day, until I can face any opponent."
At the same time, in the sect's main hall, the senior elders gathered with the Sect Leader, Zhao Ling:
One elder said cautiously:
"Leader… Fu Ling's strength surpasses all expectations. If we do not act, he could become a threat to the sect."
Another added:
"And… Huang Zheng, his disciple, is strong and growing rapidly. In a few years, he might even seize control of the sect."
The sect leader responded calmly, without hesitation:
"Very well… I will keep an eye on this matter."
After a full day of contemplation, the sect leader decided the time had come… he suddenly stormed into the training grounds and attacked Fu Ling directly.
Fu Ling shouted loudly:
"Huang Zheng… run now!"
The battle erupted. Fu Ling deflected the sect leader's attacks with swift and powerful strikes, each movement demonstrating his immense strength. Yet the leader's power was relentless, striking with ferocity to try and overpower the master at any cost.
Huang Zheng ran, trying to escape, but suddenly, three of the elders' disciples appeared and blocked his path mercilessly, pressing him with all their strength.
Huang Zheng fought back with all the power he had, kicking and rolling, twisting with incredible speed to dodge their attacks, using every technique and combat skill he had learned from Fu Ling. Quick, agile strikes echoed through the training grounds, yet he faced three synchronized opponents alone.
Every blow he received brought him closer to the end, but he managed to block some of the attacks, his swift maneuvers displaying his growing speed and strength, as if defying fate itself.
Moments later, a powerful strike from one of them knocked him off balance, and he collided with a tree planted in the ground, a sword piercing his chest. He gasped for air, eyes filled with anger and sorrow, tears streaming down as his heart twisted in pain.
He raised his voice, shaking the hearts of all around him:
"If there is another life, I will annihilate you all!"
Then darkness consumed his vision, and he found himself in the body of a 15-year-old beggar, his inner strength still intact, yet now beginning his growth and development anew.
Huang Zheng sat on the ground, examining his new body, realizing that his journey had begun anew, with a heart full of memories and experience, and a power sufficient to begin the path toward becoming even stronger.
