On the planet of Panna Cotta resided the Pastrians of the Pastry Principality. The Pastrians were cunning, and extremely technologically advanced. They seemed to have evolved and advanced much quicker than any other species in the Soupyverse. And yet, nobody had seen them evolve or even get to this stage. In fact, they did not seem like they entirely belonged to this realm in the first place. Nevertheless, they seemed to be quite powerful, and potentially useful to Croutonious.
The Pastrians had been planning this visit for quite some time. In fact, they already knew of the gods' existence, and had most of them documented down. You see, these Pastrians were not very physically remarkable in any way, but their strive for knowledge was intense. Much of their work was observing the known universe, documenting events that happen, and learning more about this verse. They had known about the heavenly war, and were watching it happen with powerful observation devices, known as jellyscopes. At first it allowed them to see their neighboring planets, stars, and asteroids, but in time they grew to be quite powerful, allowing them to capture images of events occuring biteyears away from them. This is how they found out. They witnessed Bob destroying entire systems. They watched as Croutonious suffocated planets with more and more stars, asteroids, and space dust. They knew they would not survive if the Gods ever even came close to their planet, with their destructive chaotic battle cycles. So they were determined to gain power. As soon as Croutonious arrived on their planet, they welcomed him with open arms. Some German strudel scientists had come to greet him, with "Gluten tag!". Croutonious didn't care much for parades and festivities, but he was interested in what they were making. A group of Pastrians scientists had harvested some loose energy from one of Bob and Croutonious's last battle cycles. They were currently experimenting and documenting it, but they also had some plans to use it to build something. An artificial warrior. A semi-machine they said could help Croutonious win the Heavenly War, but at the same time, a machine that would ensure their survival.
As they studied Bob's Essence, they found a sequence of absolutely random numbers. They called it pi. They used this sequence to turn it directly into code. This pi was a number, starting with 3.14 that went forever. It was unpredictable, there was no easy formula to find the next digit. The digits were all random. This perplexity of randomness and instability gave it the opportunity to be extremely powerful, but also uncontrollable. Their plan was to create a bio-engineered part organism, part machine that would stabilize this randomness and use its depth of power to do tasks. If successful, it would be able to do impossible tasks, protect and serve the pastrians, and help Croutonious in the war. They had named the bio-android P1E, or Prototype 1st Experimental, because as it was used more, it would grow more intelligent, larger, and stronger, and feed off of the instability of the randomness to convert it into energy. But it was still the first prototype and only for experimental purposes.
Croutonious found this very intriguing, and decided to accept the Pastrians' offer to use their new technology in battle. Preparation would take a bit of time, but it was hardly an inconvenience for the omnipotent deity; a small price to pay for a revolutionary super weapon. But on the other side of the battlefield, another group of mortals was preparing to join the fight.
