Chapter 1 - Prologue - When Gods Were One

In the beginning, there was only one.

No stars burned in the heavens. No worlds turned in silent orbits. No life stirred in the endless dark.

There was only the One.

An eternal presence drifting in the infinite void, surrounded by nothing but silence. No time passed, for time itself had not yet been born. The universe was still and unformed, an empty canvas waiting for purpose.

All the One knew was loneliness.

For an age beyond counting, the One existed in solitude. Yet even eternity cannot silence the longing for something more. From that quiet loneliness, a change stirred within the fabric of existence itself.

The One divided.

From solitude came division.

From a single essence emerged two eternal forces—equal in power, opposite in nature.

Creation.

And Destruction.

Creation was radiant and warm, a being of flowing light and boundless life. Where she moved, energy blossomed and possibility awakened.

Destruction was dark and immense, a presence of shadow and endless power. Where he stepped, silence followed, and all things returned to nothing.

Though they were opposites, they were not enemies. Both had been born from the same origin, two halves of a greater whole.

And from their balance… life was born.

Stars ignited across the void like scattered sparks. Galaxies spiraled into existence. Planets formed from cosmic dust and began their endless dance around newborn suns.

For the first time, the universe breathed.

With life spreading across countless worlds, the twin forces shaped beings to watch over their growing creation.

They were known as the Angelics.

Radiant guardians of the cosmos, the Angelics were chosen to guide the newborn universe and preserve the harmony between creation and destruction. They carried divine light and wisdom, shepherding civilizations as they rose among the stars.

For a time, peace endured.

But not all beings believed that peace required divine rule.

Among the mortal worlds, one voice rose in defiance.

In the crimson lands of Arcadia, beneath a blood-red moon and towering black spires, a king stood before the heavens and refused to kneel.

The Arcadian King believed that no gods should command the universe.

To him, freedom was greater than divine order. Mortals, he believed, should choose their own fate—not live beneath the rule of distant celestial beings.

His rebellion ignited unrest across worlds. Kingdoms whispered of independence. Armies gathered. Faith began to fracture.

The balance of the universe trembled.

To prevent war from consuming creation itself, a new solution was forged.

From divine power and cosmic energy, four beings were created—warriors born to restore balance where peace had begun to crumble.

They were called the Orions.

Andreia, The Orion of Light.

Renku, The Orion of Hope.

Zether, The Orion of Shadows.

Valak, The Orion of Chaos.

Each carried power drawn from the foundations of the universe. Together they were meant to stand above kings, above armies, above rebellion.

They were created for a single purpose.

To bring peace.

And to end all wars.
