He never had the courage to tell her how he truly felt. Days passed, and Sahib kept his feelings hidden in his heart. Every small moment with Ayesha became precious to him — a simple smile, a short conversation, or even just seeing her from a distance. For the world, nothing seemed different. But inside Sahib’s heart, a silent story of love was slowly growing. This is the story of a boy who loved deeply but quietly… A love that was never spoken loudly… A love that lived only in silence. Chapter 1 - ONE SIDE LOVE

[The begging of feeling love ]

My name is Sahib. I am not someone special. I am just a simple boy living a simple life. My days were always the same. Wake up early in the morning, get ready for school, sit in class, listen to teachers, come back home, finish homework, and sleep.

Nothing exciting ever happened in my life.

Sometimes I used to think that my life was like a quiet road where nothing interesting would ever happen. My friends had funny stories, adventures, and secrets to share, but my life was always calm and ordinary.

But one day everything changed.

It was the first day of the new school term. The weather was pleasant, and the sky was bright. I reached school a little earlier than usual that day.

When I entered the classroom, my friends were already there. As always, the classroom was full of noise.

Arman and Sameer were laughing loudly about something.

"Sahib! Come here," Arman called me.

I walked toward them and asked, "What happened?"

Sameer laughed and said, "Arman failed in the math test again."

Arman immediately replied, "At least I tried. You didn't even study."

I smiled and sat on my chair. These small arguments between my friends were very common.

After a few minutes the bell rang.

Everyone slowly sat on their seats.

Our class teacher entered the classroom.

But today something was different.

Behind the teacher, a girl was standing quietly.

The entire class became silent.

The teacher looked at us and said, "Class, we have a new student today."

Then she turned toward the girl.

"Her name is Ayesha. She recently moved here with her family. I hope all of you will help her."

For the first time, I looked at her carefully.

She looked a little nervous, but she had a calm expression on her face. Her eyes were bright, and there was a gentle smile on her lips.

I don't know why, but for a moment my eyes couldn't move away from her.

It felt strange.

I had never felt something like this before.

The teacher pointed toward an empty seat near the window.

"Ayesha, you can sit there."

She nodded and walked slowly toward the seat.

That seat was right in front of me.

I suddenly became aware of my heartbeat.

"Why am I feeling like this?" I asked myself.

She quietly placed her bag on the table and started looking at the notebook.

I tried to focus on the teacher's lecture, but my mind was somewhere else.

Sometimes my eyes moved toward her without my permission.

Every time she slightly turned her head, I quickly looked away.

I didn't want anyone to notice.

The entire class passed like this.

Finally the bell rang for the break.

Everyone started talking again.

Arman suddenly looked at me carefully.

"Why are you so quiet today?" he asked.

"I'm not quiet," I replied.

Sameer laughed.

"You are. Usually you talk more than this."

Arman looked toward the front of the class and then looked back at me with a smile.

"Ohhh… now I understand."

"Understand what?" I asked.

He said slowly, "You like the new girl."

I immediately shook my head.

"No. That's not true."

But inside my heart, something felt different.

I didn't want to admit it.

After the break, the classes continued normally.

But somehow the day felt shorter than usual.

Soon the final bell rang.

Students started leaving the classroom.

I was putting my books into my bag when suddenly I heard a soft voice.

"Excuse me…"

I looked up.

It was Ayesha.

For a moment, I forgot what to say.

"Yes?" I asked.

She looked a little shy.

"Can you help me?" she asked politely.

"Of course," I replied.

"I want to find the school library, but I don't know where it is."

My heart started beating faster again.

"Yes… I can show you," I said.

We walked together through the hallway.

For the first few moments, there was silence.

I didn't know what to say.

Then she spoke.

"My name is Ayesha."

"I know," I replied quickly.

Then I felt embarrassed.

She laughed softly.

"And your name?"

"Sahib."

"That's a nice name," she said.

Those simple words made me feel strangely happy.

Soon we reached the library.

She looked at the building and smiled.

"Thank you for helping me," she said.

"You're welcome," I replied.

She walked inside the library.

I stood outside for a few seconds.

Something inside my heart had changed.

I didn't know what it was.

Maybe it was just curiosity.

Maybe it was friendship.

Or maybe…

It was the beginning of something much deeper.

When I walked home that day, my mind was full of thoughts.

For the first time, I was excited about going to school the next day.

Because now there was someone I wanted to see again.

Someone whose smile stayed in my mind.

But I didn't know something important yet.

The small feeling growing inside my heart would slowly turn into love.

A quiet love.

A silent love.

And maybe…

A love that would remain only one-sided.

To be continued....
