Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Power

As Sunny flew over the body of water separating East Antarctica and the Antarctic Center heading to Falcon Scott, he thought of Divine Aspect wielders.

They each respectively belonged to Storm God, Beast God, and Heart God. Sunny knew some about the Beast, given that Ki Song never really hid her powers, and the Song daughters also had plenty of knowledge.

But the Storm God and Heart God both possessed interesting, diverse powers. Sunny had a hard time understanding them, especially the Heart God Divine Aspect wielder.

From the information Sunny had gathered, the Beast God heir was apparently also wielding nearly the most power in direct combat currently, surpassing his peers.

It made sense since they had hailed from the Beast Gods' realm. The treasures they must have acquired there must have honed their power exponentially, reaching a qualitative change.

Dodging to the right, a Nightmare creature broke through the surface of the water. Sunny hadn't manifested personally into the Butterfly, so he commanded the shadows to slide off him.

The shadows turned into long javelins, and with both hands, Sunny threw them into the Eel like Nightmare Creature. A loud cannonball-like sound rang out. It punctured holes in the Eel.

The Eel let out a strong electric blast, evaporating most of the javelins as it fell, but Sunny was a transcendent Terror, and the Eel was a Corrupted Demon, so it didn't destroy the javelins all the way.

Right before it crashed back into the water, the shadows on the surface came alive and became long pikes that the Eel fell into.

"You have slain a Corrupted Demon" Sunny quietly whispered to himself.

Amused, Sunny fell into the water, turning into an onyx serpent. Continuing, Sunny quickly grabbed the three transcendent shards and stored them in the mimic. He was going to be weaving plenty of memories.

Focusing on the task at hand, Sunny increased his speed. Usually, he would try to save his essence, but instead, he chose to ignore that. He doubted that he would meet any creature that would be quicker than him, and he was right.

In merely a few hours, he arrived at the Antarctic Center. The shores of Falcon Scott were just like he remembered them all those years ago.

East Antarctica was nice, but Sunny remembered all the people who came from the Antarctic Center, they were a kind, hard-working people, and the Sovereigns had ignored them. Letting a mere Corrupted Titan kill millions of souls.

An old hatred ignited in his heart. Once again, he let it consume him. Climbing up the shores Sunny was wet. He remembered having a main body meant that he wasn't fully a shadow creature yet.

He couldn't just shadow manifest himself without using essence continuously, so he simply switched avatars.

This time, Sunny didn't turn into a large butterfly; instead, he grew a pair of dark wings, and with a large flap, he took off.

He wanted to experience Falcon Scott once again, with his own eyes. Flying over, he quietly looked over as he went towards Erebus. The Winter Beast would still be around that area.

As Sunny was flying, he took stock of his shadows. Fiend, Saint, and Nightmare were all peacefully nestling in his soul and were currently with him. They were all Transcendent, and to be fairly honest, he didn't imagine that he would need them for the upcoming battle.

Sunny already possessed Will, and as a Transcendent Terror, he wouldn't lose to the Winter Beast in a direct confrontation. So instead, he let them manifest and sent them away to start culling the creatures in Falcon Scott.

He needed to complete his Titan core, so he didn't plan on leaving the Antarctic Center until he did. He also didn't like seeing Falcon Scott being overrun with creatures.

As he flew off, he saw Fiend turn into a shadow once more attached to Nightmare while Saint was on top. She sent Nightmare into a gallop towards the nearest hordes of Nightmare Creatures. He also let them take Mimic so they could store the creatures they had killed.

Fiend that glutton wasn't too happy to see the Mimic joining them.

As Sunny neared Erebus, he thought of how he would kill the monstrosity and decided on a simple plan.

Travelling farther into the Antarctic Center Sunny thought of an outline of how he would continue and amass strength for the next few years, travelling the Dream Realm.

He also needed knowledge. Massive amounts of it. These new incomers had nearly zero information about them. They also had a massive advantage in that nobody knew they even existed. Just like how Sunny was now.

Luckily, Sunny had a memory that would help with that. The Weaver's Mask. He didn't doubt that was probably what the demon had used it for before as well. There was a small problem.

He would most likely need at least one more piece of the Weaver's forbidden lineage to take in the strings of fate once more.

Last time he used went blind, and even then, he had Flesh Weave and Spirit Weave. So if he wanted to start receiving knowledge via fate, he would need to return to the Eternal City and the Death Game.

Both were things he did not look forward to, but on the brightside he would be able to use more questions in the Death Game, which was nearly invaluable. He was also looking forward to the Sacred Shades he would get again.

After a few hours, Sunny made it near Erebus when he saw it once more. He felt it before he sensed it, then felt it, the cold winds. It was light, however, the winds were lightly rushing in towards Sunny's right.

He sensed an area with Shadow Sense where all the shadows had been absent. Their absence led him to believe that it was definitely the Winter Beast again. Getting close to it froze even the incorporeal.

Sunny faintly smiled. He would enjoy killing this creature, but he doubted it would die in an epic way again. It's not every day you can rip your foe's heart with your teeth. Sunny remembered ripping into its heart, although at that moment, he felt like even his glee was getting frozen.

Sunny rose into the air, higher and higher. Until he was nearly above the clouds. Today, he would be taking a page from Kai's book.

Although he didn't possess his friend's sight. He could still fall with pinpoint accuracy due to numerous factors. One of them is his shadow sense.

Sunny summoned the [Shadow Lantern], equipping it to his side. Then he let it spill out. As he was falling, Sunny's body was becoming larger and larger.

By the time he was halfway down, he was twice as large as Goliath. He also started manifesting a large sword and began wrapping a dense death will surrounding it.

Sunny's essence was going down at a drastic rate. He no longer had a domain with inexhaustible essence, but he didn't need to.

Sunny's [Weaver Mask] also became way larger. Falling down a demon with three horns that was the size of an entire city, Sunny swung his sword with all of his death will.

The result was catastrophic.
