CTS TIME RE250.06.02 7:50 PM – Departure from Hikarashi Village
The night sky shimmered with countless stars as Ghesso, Seinna, Jasper, and Ryuji made their way to the Homurakage's Office. The village streets were quieter than usual, with only the occasional flicker of lanterns illuminating the stone pathways. The soft hum of the spacecraft's engines echoed in the distance, awaiting their arrival.
Jasper, walking slightly behind the group, crossed his arms and glared at Ghesso. "Tell me again, why the hell do we need her on this trip?" He gestured toward Seinna, who remained composed, her wristwatch glowing faintly as she gathered data on their new destination.
Ghesso, unfazed by Jasper's complaints, merely smirked and ignored him, adjusting his loose kimono as he approached the spacecraft's sleek metallic entrance.
"Alright, boys and girl, time to fly!" Ghesso announced, his violet eyes gleaming with excitement.
They stepped onto the spacecraft, and within moments, the engines roared to life, sending them soaring through the night sky.
CTS TIME RE250.06.02 9:30 PM – The Forest of Eternal Embers
The spacecraft descended gracefully, its thrusters humming softly as it hovered above a lush, glowing forest. The dense canopy of crimson and golden leaves reflected the moonlight, giving the entire area an ethereal glow.
The ship landed on a designated stone platform, surrounded by ancient torii gates covered in glowing red inscriptions—protective seals that marked the entrance to the Hibashiren Village.
As the hatch hissed open, they stepped out, greeted by the warm scent of pine, sakura blossoms, and the faint aroma of burning embers that seemed to linger in the air.
The Forest of Eternal Embers was unlike anything Jasper or Ryuji had ever seen.
The Majestic Beauty of the Forest
The trees were massive, their bark infused with fiery veins that pulsed faintly, giving the illusion that they were breathing.
Sakura petals, glowing a soft ember-like orange, drifted lazily through the air, leaving behind trails of faint sparks before dissolving into the wind.
Small floating lanterns, seemingly guided by unseen hands, flickered gently along the natural pathways, casting shadows that danced across the moss-covered ground.
The air was warm, yet not unpleasant—as if wrapped in the lingering embrace of a past flame.
The distant sound of trickling water could be heard, leading to a small lava-stream river where molten rock flowed lazily like liquid gold, illuminating the surroundings.
Occasionally, small flame spirits (wisps of flickering fire) would dart between the trees, vanishing before anyone could get a closer look.
Seinna, already engaged with her holographic wristwatch, was rapidly collecting data. The glow of the forest reflected off her silver eyes as she muttered to herself,
"Fascinating… the trees have embedded thermal energy yet remain untouched by fire. The air contains unique heat-reactive chakra particles… I need more samples."
Jasper sighed in pure irritation as he heard her scientific mumbling. "You just can't stop, can you?"
Seinna glanced at him with a knowing smile. "It's called dedication, my dear Jasper."
Jasper rolled his eyes. "For the last time, I am not your 'dear.'"
She merely chuckled softly, continuing to record her observations.
Journey Through the Ember Forest
Ghesso led the way, walking lazily with his arms behind his head, completely unbothered by the mystical beauty surrounding them.
"Alright, listen up. We gotta walk five minutes through this forest, and then we'll reach the main village—Hibashiren. But don't let the name fool you; it's not literally on fire. It's just called the Village of Raging Fire because it's home to some of the strongest Fire Release users in the world."
Ryuji's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh hell yeah! If I train here, I'll become a goddamn flame emperor! Girls will be all over me!"
Ghesso snorted. "Kid, if you keep talking like that, you'll just end up being a flame idiot instead."
Jasper, walking at his own pace, stretched his arms and let out a yawn. "So, why exactly are we here? Besides you training this dumbass, what's the real reason?"
Ghesso gave him a sly look but didn't answer.
Ryuji ignored them, grinning confidently. "Just you wait. After this training, I'll beat Kai into the ground, and everyone will respect me!"
Jasper smirked. "Sure, sure. Keep dreaming, loser."
As they walked, the forest seemed to pulse with life, shifting in color as the embers danced between crimson and gold. Seinna, still typing away, stole a glance at Jasper.
"Still planning to ignore me?" she asked softly.
Jasper didn't even look at her. "Absolutely."
Seinna smiled, unfazed. "Good. I love a challenge."
Jasper clicked his tongue in annoyance.
Approaching Hibashiren Village
As they neared the end of the forest, the distant glow of the village's torches came into view. The village itself was nestled between two massive volcanoes, their peaks smoking faintly under the night sky. Despite its intimidating location, Hibashiren Village was alive with activity—shinobi patrolled the streets, and merchants sold various fire-infused weapons, scrolls, and exotic foods.
The entrance was marked by a grand red gate, its pillars engraved with the names of legendary fire shinobi. At the very top, a golden emblem of a phoenix engulfed in flames stood as a testament to the village's unbreakable spirit.
Ghesso stretched. "Alright, kiddos. Welcome to Hibashiren Village—your new home for the next two months. Try not to get roasted alive, okay?"
Ryuji cracked his knuckles. "Tch. I'll roast anyone who gets in my way!"
Jasper glanced at Seinna, who was still gathering data, her silver eyes reflecting the flames of the village ahead.
He sighed. "Two months with her… this is gonna be a nightmare."
Seinna, hearing him, simply smirked.
"Oh, Jasper, dear… you have no idea what's in store for you."
The Heart of Raging Fire
CTS TIME RE250.06.02 10:00 PM
As Ghesso, Seinna, Jasper, and Ryuji stepped through the massive crimson gates of Hibashiren Village, they were immediately hit by a wave of warmth—not just from the air, but from the sheer energy of the people bustling around them. The village, illuminated by glowing lanterns and torches, seemed alive with fire itself.
The Village's Fiery Beauty
The buildings were constructed with a blend of black volcanic stone and deep redwood, their rooftops designed like flowing flames, each one tipped with golden phoenix emblems.
The streets were paved with smooth obsidian tiles, glowing faintly with embedded heat signatures that pulsed like embers beneath their feet.
Street vendors lined the roads, their stalls overflowing with exotic fire-infused wares—from blazing gemstones to scrolls that emitted warmth when touched.
The villagers, all dressed in rich hues of crimson, orange, and deep gold, moved with a confident, almost warrior-like posture, their eyes sharp, as if everyone here had undergone combat training from birth.
Children ran through the streets, some playfully tossing small fireballs between their hands—an early sign of fire chakra mastery. Others gathered near storytellers, listening in awe as elders recounted tales of legendary warriors who once bathed the battlefield in flames.
The moment the group stepped into the heart of the village, however, something shifted. People began to stare.
Whispers spread like wildfire.
"Outsiders?"
"Who are they?"
"Why do they not wear the robes of Hibashiren?"
It was clear that while Ryuji, with his shinobi gear, blended in slightly, Jasper and Seinna stood out like a sore thumb.
Jasper, dressed in his usual dark combat gear, looked completely out of place in a village that radiated heat, color, and raw power. And Seinna? Her Hyperion Defender uniform was far too advanced-looking for a place still deeply rooted in tradition and warrior culture.
Ghesso sighed dramatically, scratching the back of his head.
"Welp, looks like we're standing out too much." He turned to Jasper and Seinna. "First order of business—we need to make you two look like natives. Can't have you walking around looking like lost space travelers.".
They made their way through the vibrant marketplace, passing by stalls overflowing with finely crafted weapons, fire-infused scrolls, and rare spices that smelled both intoxicating and dangerous.
They finally reached a large fabric shop, where traditional Hibashiren attire was displayed in rows of flowing kimonos, warrior robes, and battle-ready shinobi gear.
Seinna saw her golden opportunity.
As soon as she stepped inside, her silver eyes gleamed mischievously.
"If I have to blend in… I might as well do it properly."
Jasper wasn't paying attention—he was distracted by a rack of dark battle robes, considering his options.
That's when he heard her soft voice behind him.
"Jasper~"
Something about the way she said his name sent a shiver down his spine.
He turned—and immediately froze.
Seinna stood before him, wrapped in a deep crimson kimono, the fabric loosely draped around her shoulders, revealing just enough skin to short-circuit his brain.
The silk hugged her form perfectly, and as she adjusted the folds, she made sure the V-cut dipped just enough to show off the delicate curves of her collarbone and the teasing hint of her chest.
Jasper's entire body locked up.
His fingers twitched. His breath hitched. His mind screamed at him to look away—but his body refused to obey.
Seinna noticed.
Oh, she definitely noticed.
A slow, knowing smile spread across her lips as she stepped closer, reaching up to "adjust" the kimono fabric, but in reality, all she did was make it looser, ensuring Jasper's gaze remained trapped in the abyss of temptation.
"Well?" she asked innocently, tilting her head. "Do I look like I belong in Hibashiren now?"
Jasper swallowed hard. His throat was suddenly dry as the desert.
For the first time, he had nothing to say.
His brain? Gone.
His common sense? Dead.
His willpower? Holding on by a single thread.
But he couldn't let her win.
With every ounce of self-control he had, he forced his gaze away and scoffed.
"Tch. You should just go without clothes at this point—saves time."
Seinna leaned in ever so slightly, her voice dropping into pure seduction mode.
"If you want that, dear Jasper, all you have to do is ask."
Jasper's entire system crashed.
Short-circuit.
Brain meltdown.
Emergency shutdown.
For a brief moment, his face burned hotter than the village flames, and his heart slammed against his ribs like a drum.
But he refused. Refused. To let her win.
Control yourself, idiot. Don't fall for her tricks.
With an exaggerated yawn, he turned away. "Whatever. Doesn't work on me."
Seinna just laughed softly, knowing damn well it absolutely worked.
Inferno Ramen Shop
After buying their new outfits, they made their way to Inferno Ramen, one of the most famous food spots in the village. The shop was small and cozy, with an open-air counter, where chefs prepared bowls of blazing red broth, the steam rising in thick, spicy clouds.
Ryuji was already vibrating with excitement. "YES! The legendary Inferno Ramen! Time to test my limits!"
They all ordered the spiciest bowls available, the liquid so red it looked like molten lava.
Jasper, determined not to lose to anyone, dug in immediately—only to instantly regret his life choices.
His entire mouth ignited. His soul left his body.
Ryuji was screaming. Ghesso? Laughing.
But then… Seinna made her final move.
As Jasper wiped the sweat from his forehead, Seinna casually leaned closer, adjusting her kimono again, ensuring Jasper's line of sight was exactly where she wanted it.
She took a deliberate, slow sip of her broth, her lips parting slightly, letting out a small pleased hum as if it was the best thing she had ever tasted.
Jasper gulped hard—but not from the ramen.
Control. Yourself.
He clenched his fists under the table, gritting his teeth.
"Damn it…" he muttered under his breath.
Seinna? She simply smirked.
"Oh, Jasper… we still have nine days left."
