Ian this time he was having none of it. He ordered for the festivities to begin and ran into his quarters. Brill brought the stowaway some rum and his wounds now healed over. The fool had passed out from blood loss. Then Ian came out with the trident that he took from Neptune. He jumped onto the helm where John was moving to the beat of the sea shanties. He turned to face the crew of pirates and lifted the trident. They gave a cheer to their captain. He said," Ok men, you know how it goes. I won't be responsible for you if you fall off. Brill, inform the engineers to prepare for what is coming."
Brill disappeared into the cargo hold. The captain then gave the signal for the cog shell to be blown. John pulled it out and a blue light shot out its end. Then some rumbling and shaking hit the ship. John then moved the light to face the English ships and gave a furious tune. A screech from the sea was heard tearing through the water at record speed. Ian's body started to match that of water as he started to move the trident like a sort of rainmaker staff like the Africans he had met in his past adventures. Dark clouds started to gather as the tide started to recede. Then the crew started the countdown as Brill came back up and joined John and Ian on the helm. " Ten... Nine....Eight," The men announced as Ian smirked and lowered the trident," Seven... Six... Five... Four," as In jumped onto the figure head and faced the thinnest part between Finland and the Main continent," Three... Two... ONE!"
In a flash like no other, The ship was instantly shot into the air by a water spout [ a geyser of water out at sea ] where a giant tsunami wave picked it up and off they went. The crew cheered as their mugs of rum were hit in celebration. Roman came from behind towards Ian holding a mug of Rum. Ian came back to normal and said," I still can't do it like mother," with a sort of longing in his eye.
Roman was the only man on the ship who was constantly allowed to speak to the captain however he wished and he used that privilege here." Now cheer up young man, you got this. You led this band of misfits after you were banished by your father and they are still alive. Granted, you mistress was kidnapped but we all know you got this. [ He slaps Ian's chest to get him to cheer up ] No slouching, your mother wouldn't want that as she watches you from Niflheim. Isn't that right boys?" Roman asked the crew at the end and they all cheered in agreement.
Ian took the rum from Roman with a smile and raised it in celebration to his men. They all cheered. He then told them to keep quiet first. The pirates obeyed and gradually fell into silence. Once it was all quiet, Ian faced the Crow's nest and asked Neil how the English were fairing with his little pet. Neil looked through his spyglass and laughed. He then turned to face the crew saying, The English were being sunk by the kraken they sent and the tsunami was surely going to do them in. Ian announced to his men," You heard that men, we party now and get drunk then you can get all the women you want when we arrive."
They cheered the captain's name over and over when a sudden shaking hit the ship. Ian looked off the figure head and pulled out his spyglass. He saw land. He shouted," BRACE FOR A ROUGH LANDING! WE STRUCK LAND SOONER THAN EXPECTED!"
The tsunami was gradually getting smaller as the ship was lowered. The wave was tall so it managed to throw the Aegis Spear into the other side of the land. Landing the men in Viking seas. Ian gave John the order to take them to Crook Cove. John replied with the usual ' Aye captain ' and moved the ship. Ian proceeded to chug down the mug he was given and moved to his quarters. But no before saying to Roman," Thanks for that Roman. I needed that."
" Aye captain, get some rest. The action is soon going to start," said Roman scurrying off to the kitchen to prep for the celebratory feast.
Ian also ordered Brill to bring the stowaway as soon as he woke up. He entered his quarters and unsheathed Saber. He placed the legendary sword on his desk and carried the trident to a secret hidden compartment behind his shelf of maps. He pushed a hidden lever and it opened up. There was a large number of powerful and mythical class weapons being stored there. The fighting force in that closet was high enough to wipe out a continent if used right. He placed the trident and and carried out a map with a gold and ruby seal. He closed the compartment and sat down with the map. He removed the seal and opened the map. It was a blank sheet. He called over Saber and he complied. A small cut was opened on Ian's forefinger. A small drop of blood trickled onto the sheet of paper and immediately got absorbed." Show me where Odin's Jewel is being hidden," said Ian and a map was drawn by the sheet itself.
Quills were lifted and dipped themselves in ink before beginning the drawing processes. The a knock came from behind Ian's chair and he let them enter. A hidden door opened up from the wall and through it came a pink haired, masked person. They held a large wrench." What is it Victoria? You know that you aren't allowed to come onto the deck unless the coast is clear," Ian said as he started to polish Saber.
The person stood next to Ian's desk and placed the wrench over their shoulder. They said," Me and the other engineers want to make sure that you remember that you are the only man keeping those pirates from sleeping with just any woman they want."
" Oh I never forgot. That is why, all their drinks are laced with sleeping herbs. They are sure to fall asleep as soon as night falls," said Ian.
" So calm down already," said Saber annoyed to be disturbed in his maintenance time.
A knock followed on the door. Ian let them in and in walked in the stowaway and Brill. The other pirates tried to walk in too but the sight of Victoria made them squirm and back off. The stowaway stood before Ian and Victoria did not hesitate to give him a solid punch. The stowaway hit the ground. Then Victoria proceeded to lower their mask to give Brill a kiss on the cheek. She was quite the stunning woman with dimples on her face and fair skin. She then disappeared back into the hidden door. The stowaway groaned before getting back up slowly." You survived an attack from a half dwarf? You and I might just be related. What's your name lad?" Ian asked.
" Urgg... My name... cough cough... is.. Nickeleye, captain," said the stowaway getting his bearings.
" Ok Nickeleye, I place you under the care of my first mate. He is allowed to kill you if he finds you anyway suspicious. So good luck," said Ian when a loud cog shell was heard outside.
Ian said," Looks like we have arrived," as he led them out of his quarters.
They got out and saw they were approaching a waterfall. Then a cog shell sound was heard from the waterfall and the water of the waterfall split to the sides to give way to the incoming ship. The ship slowly entered and the complex mechanism allowing for the parting of the waterfall was seen attached to the stalactites. Ian then announced," Men we have arrived at Crook Cove!"
