Groaning, Justinian walked back into the dining room and sighed, retaking his seat. After thirty seconds of sitting, the side door opened, and an older maid walked in, holding a glass of white wine, and carried it over to Justinian. "Priscilla, can I get a moment of rest? Augustus, then Michael, and now you."
"Forgive me, but you have delayed too many times, and I need to know if this is fine to serve." Justinian rolled his eyes and lazily held out his hand. Handing the wine to him, Priscilla patiently waited as he swirled it around his mouth, savouring the taste before swallowing.
"Perfect." He impatiently replied, "Will that be all now?"
"Of course. I will ensure you are not disturbed any further unless necessary." Justinian nodded and looked down at his plate, taking a sip of the white wine before looking at Julius plate. Seeing the vegetables and meat placed into a pattern to resemble a cat, he smiled.
