Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The Unending Loop of Fate

Five years had passed. That last bench in the New Delhi library was no longer just a piece of wood; the college had declared it a 'Heritage Spot'. People flocked there, tied red strings around their hands, and remembered the story of Aryan-Sameeksha.

But this time, the person stepping into the library wasn't a new student. It was Vikram.

The Transformation

Vikram had now become the city's leading documentary photographer. His project "The Silent Protectors" had become famous worldwide, exposing the truth about unknown heroes like Aryan's father. But his greatest achievement was his book titled: "The Red String Glitch."

Vikram placed his hand on the bench. He remembered how he had mocked Aryan's sketches at this very place and, along with Sameer, had tried to defame his family. Today, that regret had become his greatest strength.

"Time really is like a glitch, isn't it?" A sweet voice echoed.

Riya was standing there, holding the hand of a little girl—Anya. Anya's eyes held the same mischief that Aryan (Golu) had once possessed.

"Papa, is this the same place where Uncle Golu used to draw sketches?" Anya asked.

Vikram smiled, picked her up, and made her sit on the bench. "Yes, son, this is the same place where a red thread joined two broken hearts forever."

A Surprise Guest and a Final Truth

Just then, another suspect appeared at the library door. It was Sameer. Sameer, completely devastated after his release from jail. Vikram saw him, but this time there was no anger in his eyes.

Samer slowly extended an old envelope to Vikram. "Vikram, I did a terrible thing to your family and Aryan's family. I found this file in an old locker. Aryan's father not only testified, he also saved your father from being caught in a major scam."

Vikram's feet were shaken. He always believed that Aryan's father had brought him disrepute, but the truth was that Aryan's father had saved his family. "The Red String" not only connected Aryan and Sameeksha, it also kept Vikram and Aryan's families indebted to each other.

The Message from the Hills

Vikram immediately video-called Aryan. Aryan and Sameeksha now ran an 'Art School' in the mountains, teaching sketching to poor children.

"Aryan, why didn't you ever tell me that your father saved my father's life?" Vikram asked emotionally.

Aryan smiled and looked at the screen. Sameeksha was standing behind him. "Vikram, if I had told you this, you would have apologized out of fear of 'Hasaan'. I wanted you to befriend me because of 'Badlaav'. And that's exactly what you did."

Sameeksha flashed a red thread on the screen. "Our 'Day 1' didn't end when we left the city, it began when you accepted the truth."

The Eternal Frame (Forever)

Vikram put down his phone and picked up his camera. He took a photo of Riya and Anya sitting on the same library bench. He wrote a new caption below the photo, which would become the last page of his book:

"Day 1825: Beyond the Horizon. Glitches are not errors; they are the patterns that connect us all. The string is endless."

The same soft sunlight from the library window fell on them. Aryan's 'black diary' was now housed in the library's archives, its last page still displaying the colorful sketch he had made for the review.

"The Red String Glitch" was no longer just a web novel; it had become a truth: no matter how far we stray, the red thread of fate always brings us back to where we need to be.

Ending Note:

The story has reached its full and complete conclusion here. This story of Aryan, Sameeksha, Vikram, and Riya teaches us that forgiveness is the biggest 'healing glitch'.
