The storm named Mark hit the east side of the island, as out of the shadows, a black tiger came and slaughtered all the weak humans, leaving only the predators.
Some possessing bloodline, some possessing top-tier gifts, as finally Mark left for the west side of the island, across the lake, which no one had crossed till then.
Maybe someone had crossed, but no one realized it, but in Mark's sense, he was the first one to do that, as hiding in the shadow, he crossed the lake.
Truthfully, he was a little reluctant to do this as the taste of the bloody mice was still in his mouth.
There were two surprising facts he found out after killing them.
First, if he killed and ate someone directly, then those creatures won't get burned, turned into meat, and get inside his space.
But they would still give him 0.1 point, which he was getting by eating normally.
Secondly, they gave endurance stat instead of agility stat, which he was literally getting from all the creatures he killed.
Heck, even monkeys who were giving him strength stat also gave him agility stat alternatively, making him kill twice the amount to fill his strength stat to 20 points.
But bloody mice were different; they only gave him endurance stat every time he killed and ate them, giving him 0.2 stat altogether, making his stat panel look something like this.

This was the status panel he got after committing the slaughter, as mostly his endurance stat got filled up by the bloody mice he killed.
He killed as many as nine bloody mice. The number may seem small, but these creatures, who liked to hide in the darkness, had the knack to get away from danger and come to light before he could get 100 meters in distance from them.
Plus, they had the speed of a laser, moving from one place to another in a flash was something they did just for fun and to get the thrill of the fright they gave their victims before they killed them.
As for the other stats, he got 1.8 vitality stat by killing 18 fledgling trees; 2.3 agility and 2.4 strength stat by killing 47 monkeys, and again 1.1 agility stat by killing green crows.
Unlike mice, green crows did not had such a horrendous perception, but they did possess their wings and loved to hide in the tree and fly in the sky to they leap at their prey and eat them while flying.
Yes, while flying, and their main source of food was apparently the bloody mince, from this one could see how dreadful their flying speed was.
That was the reason, even when Mark could see the green crow, he couldn't kill all of them, and only ended up hunting those that were hiding in the tree, leaving the others alone.
Besides them, the main victims of his assault were none other than the humans. He killed as many as 71 humans within the last 2 hours.
Slaughtered them as if they were nothing but a piece of meat and blood, and got all ten types of stats from them.
Heck, he even got 0.1 of luck stat, and realized what a crazy ordeal it was to get it.
The person who gave him this stat was from a seven-man group.
Yes, the entire group was made of seven men and no women, and in one of them was a lucky bastard, who survived his assault for one minute completely.
Don't think one minute was nothing, it was a big amount of time. These people he killed were prey, just waiting to die.
Plus, his agility stat was as much as 32 at that time, including his bloodline stat, it was 42 points.
His speed was in no way slower than the bloody mice, and he also had the support of the shadow, yet this person making others become his prey survived for an entire minute.
Every time he ran to kill him, either he threw someone at him, or either someone just ended up coming in his path, or ended up being in such a position that he simply couldn't ignore them, and had to kill them first and only in the end did that lucky bastard die, nearly making Mark curse at his seven ancestors for birthing such an annoying person.
From 71 humans he got, 1.0 strength stat, 1.2 agility stat, 0.5 endurance stat, 0.8 vitality stat, 1.1 wisdom stat, 1.3 intelligence stat, 0.5 physical resistance stat, 0.2 elemental resistance stat, 0.4 charm stat, and 0.1 luck stat.
Just seeing his status panel was enough to make Mark go insane in happiness, and what was most surprising was that he was only 0.1 physical resistance stat away from reaching the complete 20 stat points.
Not to say his endurance stat, which was only 1.5 stat points away from reaching 20 points, so how could he not get greedy? How? Just how?
But his reasoning stopped him from losing his senses in this killing lust, cuz this competition was against humans, not against these beasts who could give him exactly the stat point he needed.
What would happen if he ended up killing all the weak humans and left the strongest alive for fighting, while he hid in the darkness hunting other monsters, and then going for those humans who were the least strongest amongst all the predators, going from lower to higher.
