Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Explaining & Leaving The Farmhouse

'Leave this Beginner Farmhouse area to officially start my adventure, huh?' Sol thought, stroking his chin. 'I see... that explains why it's so peaceful here. Turns out, this is a beginner's safe zone area.'

"Aaaaaghhh!!! The voice…!!! The voice is gone!!! Nooooooooo!!!" Beros cried out, his heart pounding wildly.

SLAP!

It was at this moment, Sol slapped Beros's face with a loud smack and yelled, "Would you shut the hell up already?! You're being too noisy and annoying here, and I can't focus on anything!"

In an instant, Beros went silent, frozen in shock. But as the sting of the slap hit him, his annoyance flared. He yelled, "Y-You bastard! How dare you slap me?! Do you know who I am?! I'm the strongest Rank 1 player in Blurion Online! No players have ever beat me, let alone even the strongest boss monsters in the world!"

"Yes, I know exactly who you are! Your original name was MegaTrollKing123, but then later you bought a name change ticket and switched your name to Beros. And you're the infamous player who enjoys trolling others and even stealing players' loot! That's right, that's what you are! And let's not forget, you love backstabbing your own teammates too! Hmm… what else?! Oh yeah, you're also a goddamn camper too! In any case, you're a real piece of shit and a total jerk! And you know what else—!" Sol said, but was cut off.

"Ah, shut the fuck up! Stop it! I don't wanna hear it anymore!" Beros shouted, his voice raw with frustration as his fists clenched at his sides.

"Well, if you understand, then shut up and calm down for a sec! And just so you know, you're not the only one here who's confused and trying to figure out what the hell is going on!" Sol said, his voice sharp but tinged with frustration.

"I got it, so quit yelling at me already! Jeez, but seriously, how in the world do you know all of this? No, wait a minute… who the hell even are you anyway? Like how the hell do you know so much about me?" Beros shot back, his voice filled with suspicion.

"Hmm, before I tell you anything, you just mentioned earlier that you stopped hearing the voices in your head, right? If you don't mind, could you tell me more about what you mean by that?" Sol asked, curious.

"Well, err… to be honest, I don't really know, but one thing I know for certain is that the voice in my head has disappeared and is no longer giving me any instructions on what to do anymore," Beros replied.

"Giving you instructions? Could you elaborate a bit more?" Sol asked.

"Yes, well, it's nothing special really. But for some reason, whenever the voice instructed me to do something, I had no choice but to follow. It was like my body moved on its own. You could say that I was being controlled or something like that, but I assumed that the voice must have come from God, so I didn't resist and willingly followed God's commands," Beros explained.

"I see… Ah, and one more thing, how often do you hear that mysterious voice in your head?" Sol asked.

Beros paused, thinking carefully before answering. "Hmm, I'd say about 8 to 12 hours a day, give or take. The voice tends to guide me, telling me what to do, and no matter how much I try to resist, it's futile as my body simply just moves on its own. But sometimes, for a certain period of time, the voice or God would disappear… and then after that, I guess I stop being controlled and finally regain some freedom."

'8 to 12 hours a day, huh? Wait… isn't that how long I usually play each day as a hardcore free-to-play player? Ah, I get it now. The voice or God he mentioned was probably talking about me. Yup, that's most likely what happened to him,' Sol thought while stroking his chin.

"Hmm, now that you put it that way… Yeah, I think I get it now. I believed I was the one who was controlling you this whole time. And the times you mentioned gaining some freedom were probably because I logged out to sleep or took a short break, which is when I stopped playing the game or controlling you," Sol explained.

Beros looked at Sol, clearly confused and didn't understand. "Log out? Taking a break? I don't understand. What do you mean by that?"

After all, only players have the ability to log in and out, while a video game character like Beros isn't programmed to understand such concepts. His existence is only limited to the game world he was in, and he lacks the awareness or capacity to perform any action like logging in or out on his own.

Sol let out a long sigh, shaking his head slightly. 'Hmm,' he thought to himself, 'I guess he's just a video game character after all, so he doesn't know much about Earth, let alone even the real world. And the way he's acting, it's clear he has no understanding of anything outside of his programmed environment. Welp, looks like I'll have to explain everything to him from scratch.'

Before leaving the Beginner Farmhouse and officially starting their grand adventure, Sol knew it was crucial to gain Beros's trust first. With this in mind, he took the time to explain everything to Beros in great detail, hoping to strengthen their bond and secure his cooperation. Sol, being only level 1 right now, understood that he was far from equipped to face the challenges ahead on his own.

After all, this unknown and mysterious fantasy world they were about to enter was filled with monsters, dangers and uncertainty, and Sol would need Beros's protection, power, and guidance to survive.

In short, Sol's survival would depend largely on Beros from now on, or at least until he grew strong enough to protect himself in the future. With that said, for the time being, gaining Beros's trust was the crucial first step toward ensuring a safe and successful journey to explore and survive this unknown mysterious world.

Not too long later…

Finally, after learning everything about Blurion Online and the real world Earth, Beros was completely blown away to realize that Sol was the voice he had been hearing since his creation. He had no idea that the voice guiding him all this time was actually Sol's — the same voice that had been present since Sol first created his character in the game.

"Alright, now that you've got a good grasp of what's going on… with that said, it's time to get the hell out of here and check out the outside world!" Sol said with a grin.

"Yes, master!" Beros responded enthusiastically, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He was eager to follow Sol, ready to serve and witness the vast world beyond the confines of their starting point.

"Hahaha! Great! Then let's get moving!" Sol said, his voice filled with excitement.
