Liu Zou Rui, a 19 year old boy who just entered university a few month ago, he wasn't the brilliant boy, but his grade is moderate. He now lived in a dorm with few of his friends, he is now outside at a nearby convenient store buying instant noodles and a bottle of water. On the way back to his dorm, heavy showers poured down as he exit the store. He didn't brought an umbrella, he decided to take cover at a tunnel filled with graffiti drawn all over it. Cars passed by as he stood looking at the graffiti, there was this graffiti that is diamond shaped and have an eye in the middle of it. There was also this wanted poster of a serial killer that just recently escaped prison and now is currently on the loose.
"Good grief,"
Just then, someone walk past him who covered himself in a black jacket. He dropped something. Zou Rui picked it up and called out to him.
"Hey! You dropped something!"
The man turn around and look at Zou Rui. Zou Rui look at what he pick up, realizing it was a dagger, he was shocked and dropped the dagger. He then look at the face of that man, who identically look just like the serial killer that just escaped out of prison. Zou Rui then screamed and try to run away. The man grabbed Zou Rui and stabbed him in the back multiple times. There were no cars driving in that area so no one could report it. The serial killer brutally murdered Zou Rui, his blood splattered on the diamond eye graffiti, covering it with his blood. The serial killer then left this brutal scene before anyone could see his face.
Zou Rui now laying there, unable to move, his memory flashes before him, though those memory isn't anything significant.

Suddenly, few word flashes into his mind, telling him to wake up. Zou Rui opened his eyes, thinking his not dead, but he now is at a different place. It is not a hospital, nor the place he just got brutally murdered, it seems to be he is beyond the universe. He then noticed a humanoid entity in white standing right there watching him.
"You're awake,"
"What the-, who are you? where am I?"
"I'm an entity, the all seeing and knowing, you are beyond of this world, the universe, the multiverse, time don't exist here,"
Zou Rui then take a closer look at the entity, he have four huge realistic eye, wearing a white top hat with a diamond eye designed on it, same as the graffiti he saw at the tunnel before he die. He seems to be formally dressed, wearing a white suit with a tie.
"Are you the one that saved me?"
"Save you? No dear, It just that you somehow came into this place,"
"Oh..."
"Now don't be sad, you got a second chance to live, as a new person,"
"What?"
"Yes, I can sent you to another world and live as someone else,"
"So I'm getting transmigrated?"
"Yes,"
The entity said that with an uncanny smile. Zou Rui doubt the entity.
"Im not lying, I never lie, I'm the entity of all seeing and knowing, and I know anything about you,"
His four eye stared at Zou Rui, making him uncomfortable.
"You got killed by a serial killer as you were about to return to your dorm, you were so happy to leave your parents because you won't ever to be bothered by them and-"
"ENOUGH, alright, I trust you, just transmigrate me,"
"Sure do,"
The entity then swipe his hand, showing Zou Rui a 21 year old man who is a peasant, a butcher son.
"You will be this man now,"
"Wait, is there something I need to know before going?"
"Figure it out yourself,"

Eric Freeman, which is Liu Zou Rui new identity, woke up to a loud chatter from the crowd outside his house. He look around, the room is small and cramped, there is a small study desk with a few stack of books about herbs and medicine. His window was opened. He look outside and noticed a line toward his house. The entity mentioned that he is a butcher son. Zou Rui have excess to all of Eric memories, he walk down to find his father doing butchering beef and his mother doing the business.
"Eric, you're awake, come help your mother with the business,"
His father called out to him.
"Y-yes dad,"
Though he never did business in his past live, he doesn't seem to struggle with it, as if he got plenty of experiences.
"Little Eric still want to study remedy huh,"
One of the customer jokingly said that.
"Don't look down our son, he may be a butcher son, but I bet he have a bright future ahead of him,"
Eric's dream was always to become a doctor during the medieval times. That was his dream since he was a child. Eric has been begging his parents to study medicine and become a doctor despite the fact that they aren't rich.
"My son is a famous knight working at the kings guard, maybe Eric should become a knight,"
"Knights are dangerous and boring job, you have to protect their majesty and his highness all the time, you don't even get enough rest,"
"At least he is contributing to this country,"
Everyone in the butcher shop laughed it off.
The crowd then got lesser and lesser, till there is no more customer.
"Son, don't mind if you help me close the shop,"
"I will do it dad,"
Eric closed the shop and return to his room. He looked through the book, it is all complicated stuff for Zou Rui to understand, but Eric understands everything written on it. There is also a notebook, simplifying everything the books written. Eric thought to himself:
"Eric is so naive, asking for money to study abroad, knowing his family isn't that rich, I would have given up and take on his father job."
At night, Eric decides to tell his parent about his decision but stumbled upon his parent arguing.
"This isn't right honey, Eric wouldn't support it too,"
"But this is for his dream,"
"But you will get exe-"
"Mom, dad, what are you talking about?"
Eric walk in, cutting off his mother.
"Son, come here,"
Eric walk toward his father and he handed Eric a satchel full of silver coins.
"This is your fee for the academy you want to enter,"
"Eriole Academy?"
"Yes"
The academy name just flash into Eric mind.
"Where did you get that much of money?"
"Through hard work, remember, your mother and I will support you till the end,"
His mother wipe her tears and smile at him.
"Keep it dad, I decided to take on your business-"
"NO! Don't take on the business,"
Eric was shocked by his father words.
"Sorry son, I didn't meant to crash out, I just want you to have a better future, better than us, just take this cash to cover the fee and promise me, you will become a doctor that can cure any disease,"
"Do it for your father,"
"...Yes dad, mom, I promised you to become a notable doctor,"
"Thank you son,..."
"You are our pride,..."
The next day, Eric writes the letter to apply for the academy. For the past few days, he been helping his family and studying remedy and herbs.
It is now Sunday, the letter have sent back to Eric.
"Eric! There is a letter under your name, I think it's from the academy!"
Her mother ran into Eric room as he is covered in drool from his sleep on his study desk. He been studying all night.
Eric opened the note and read it:
Dear Eric,
We have your application, after careful consideration, you are now a pupil of Eriole Academy, the best academy in remedies, there would be a carriage for you by dusk, fetching you to the academy where you will stay there until you are complete with your study,

"Let's go!!!"
"Congratulation son, go get ready, you are about to leave in an hour,"
Eric packed his bag and waited for the carriage. He brought his notebook with all his note about remedies and herbs, his clothe and a charm given by his mother. The charm is from the temple of the goddess of the night, wishing Eric to be protected at night from anything.
Suddenly, a knock sounds from the door.
Eric excitedly open it, only to found a knight standing in front of him.
"I'm looking for Rudy Freeman, he is accused of stealing from a noble,"
"What? Sorry I don't think my father stole anything,"
The knights didn't listen to Eric and entered the house. Soon, they dragged his father out of the house.
"Let go of me, I said let go!"
"Silence! You have been accused of stealing 10 silver coins from a noble, you are coming with me,"
"Wait..."
Eric remember the satchel his father gave him. Was it stolen from a noble? I thought it was earn? Eric thought to himself. Eric tries to take out the money but got stopped by his mother.
"Why mom, dads abou-"
"Your father wouldn't want to see you sad, even if you return it, the charges wouldn't be let off easily, just keep the money and go study abroad, I will take cares of thing,"
The knights left taking his father away. Eric and his mother stood there crying.
"Why I am crying, they aren't my real parent, they are just my guardian in this world, why am I crying, is it because I'm Eric and not Liu Zou Rui?"
Eric kept thinking to himself as the carriage meant for him finally arrive.
Eric went on board and wave goodbye to his crying mother.
"Remember son, you are our pride,"
Eric smiled back and board on. On the way to the academy, he wept. he promised to make his family proud, he promised Eric Freeman is going to be a notable doctor.
