Santiago gave him a brief look. "I'm fine."
Thiago's mouth curved slightly. "You don't look fine."
"I said I'm fine."
Catalina shook her head quietly, but she said nothing. She knew Santiago well enough to understand that there was little point arguing with him when his mind was fixed on someone else. Instead, she pulled one of the chairs closer to the bed and sat down, while Thiago remained beside her, both of them careful not to disturb Daniella.
For a few moments, the three of them remained quiet, listening to the steady rhythm of the monitors. Santiago eventually lowered his phone and looked toward Thiago and Catalina.
"What about Camilla?" he asked. "How is she doing?"
Catalina exchanged a brief glance with Thiago before answering. "We saw her earlier. She was awake, but she was still very weak and barely able to keep her eyes open. The nurses told us she wasn't completely awake yet and needed to rest."
