Felicia stared at the notifications for several seconds, her thumb hovering over the screen, but she refused to open any of them. 


She knew exactly who would be trying to reach her, and she had no intention of answering. Instead, she switched off the Wi-Fi, powered the phone down completely and placed it facedown on the bedside table before returning to the man's arms.
