Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Hallowed Seamster

N/A: Originally I thought about making it multiple champions, but I thought that would dilute the original character too much. So in the end I decided to have a "core" champ and the rest would simply earn skills or items. Some characters will be inspired from other parallels of other games or stories.

"Fuck run! Pack everything up and run!" A pale figure rushed through the multiple of rooms commanding any automaton to clean up the laboratory and facilities before burning everything.

"Hurry! That psycho is coming!" The figure continued to rush as he soon arrived at another room.

"Quick we need to get out. That blasted seamster found our location!" He yelled at the room.

The figure reading within only stilled for a bit, "The Hallowed Seamster?"

The other figured nodded, "For what reason has he set his eyes on us? I assumed he had some psycho fetish for killing anything of undead nature."

The other figure shook his head, "Well first of all, there's a bounty on our heads and our informants say he took it the moment he heard your name..."

The figure raised an eyebrow as the light revealed his face. "Does he have some vendetta against people named Warwick?"

He sighed as he could only lament at his parents for naming him Warwick.

The Hallowed Seamster was the title given to a figure within the moonlit world. They say his blue eyes were the last any undead would see before being swallowed up by blue mist and that giant pair of scissors.

He was given the anti-undead specialist. He has never lost in a battle against the undead up to date. Even scarier was his rumored immunity.

Rumors had it from some no-name magus that had glimpsed one of his fights.

All attacks were nullified, likely a high rank magic resistance.

"Yes you make a good point. Leave the research. I have no desire to come into conflict with that scissors wielding psycho."

An abrupt voice interrupted the two as blue mist spilled into the room. "Onwards!" The blue hair was the first sight followed by glowing blue eyes that matched the mist.

It was the first time they had seen this "mist" up close. Ethereal blue mist that did not hide anything but rather they were closer to wisps of blue gas filled with many sparkling blue particles.

Everything screamed blue.

Or perhaps it was the blue tie on his white shirt.

"Yo!" His sparkling gaze met the two figures who could only deadpan at their misfortune.

"Snip snip!" He rapidly snapped his scissors a few times watching the color drain from their faces.

"Nice to meet you! And goodbye!" A cheerful and kind voice with actions so deadly created an almost discordant feeling.

Their sweat entered their eyes as they blinked.

And the sound of the comical snip with a flash of blue as they saw their own bodies headless.

Perhaps Warwick's only last thought was "Teleportation? Or pure movement? Quick as a flash!" His thoughts soon died down as the hallowed mist faded away leaving the the automatons to turn back on and continue with their work.

It seemed that the mist had gained a ridiculous buff in this world, it was anti-magic along with immunity to those outside range. It mean even physical attacks needed to be close in order to hit.

In a way it was a combination of protection from arrows, anti-magic and a localised bounded field.

A core reason why he had chosen Gwen as his core champion to grow.

Glen found himself in the Fuyuki Hospital with nothing but a small panel allowing him to choose one out of three champions from League of Legends. A game in his past life known for copious amounts of grinding and raging.

At that time, when he realised what this world was, Gwen was chosen without hesitation, not like he had much other options with Draven and Yuumi as the other options. Sure Draven was decent, but in this world?

Gwen was a much better solid scaling champ in general and a great kit for this world. And a choice he had never regretted.

With the template being established, his number one goal was to slaughter as many undead as possible to farm exp. Hence why they labeled him as anti-undead but it was also thanks to the traits that carried over translated into the type/moon system with status buffs.

Glen took out a phone with a Gwen doll printed on the back, something he did from memory. He dialed a number and let it ring for a bit.

The other end eventually picked up. "Hello, this is Glen. I've finished the task, send some people here for clean up. There's shouldn't be much to clean up."

"Hmm? What is that? Oh you wish to place an order for a ball gown? Very well, have your butler send me your measurements I'll have it done by tomorrow. It's always nice working with you Eldefelt."

Glen sighed as he sat on his scissors before speeding away back to London. A rush order on his break day, what a pain.

The shop was a homage to the lore back in League aptly named, Isolde's Works. His eyes could only roll in annoyance at the man standing in front of his shop.

"Fuhahahaha, I simply can not help but laugh every time I see that sideways lop bit of hair. Is your hair cursed?" His boisterous laugh echoed throughout the street yet strangely silence continued to permeate the air.

"What side lop? It's normal..." Glen responded.

"Eh? You cut it?" The man's surprise was evident.

"Are you retarded? It's not like our hairstyle is set into stone like some television show." Glen snarked back as a golden ripple in space fired out dozens of weapons only to miss, the instant the blue mist appeared.

"Tch, annoying." The man voices his frustrations but did not truly seem angered, but rather amused.

"I am immune, Gil." His cheeky smile crept up as he goaded the man to shoot a few more precious weapons.

Gil snorted before the ripples vanished as he followed Glen into the shop. "You are quite fortunate to have caught my eye and perhaps also due to your actions with my younger self."

Numerous blue needles and thread formed and began to move around the shop dividing the work. Smaller scissors worked with fine fluidity, cutting each fabric into the desired measurements.

"It's still beautiful no matter how many times I see it. But regardless, is that any excuse for you to begin on a mongrel's order before mine?" A dangerously unpleasant vibe filled the room as only the sound of scissors and needles continued to bustle.

"I told you Gil, it's always first come first serve, regardless of payment. Don't worry, I can do both at once if it makes you feel better. What do you even want?"

Gilgamesh sparkled a bit, "Hah I knew you couldn't resist your best customer!"

Glen rolled his eyes, "More like you tried my clothing once and now refuse to go to any other shop."

Gilgamesh gave him a stinky side eye, "Hoh? You seem to undermine the quality of your clothing. Savor this praise and savor it well, for it is a king's recommendation. Your clothing pieces are enough to belong in my vault."

"Not even the best in Uruk could have matched your proficiency with the needle and thread."

Glen smiled "Wow your majesty, guess I get a gold star? Now what do you want?"

Gilgamesh simply held his head high "I want 10 sleeping robes, 5 dress shirts, 6 household robes and a casual set of what this era calls a biker wear."

Immediately the room chilled, even the blue hair seemed to glow with the pulse of magic.

His one mismatched eye with the pink x glowed with menacing fury.

"Hey Gil... Do you know what time it is?" He asked with a calm and soft voice.

"Of course, it is 8:55pm. Have you become an illiterate mongrel?" He asked with incredulity.

"Then do you know why Eldefelt's order is called a rush order?" He asked once again as the needles formed a barrier around the shop.

Localised hallowed mist began to spread finely like threads.

Gilgamesh perhaps only then realised, right. This was someone that wouldn't be swayed by money, a product that couldn't be purchased with just financial power alone. Afterall, as much as he hated to admit it.

This blasted seamster was the antithesis of many beings in this world. Against any wraiths or anything undead he was extremely effective, perhaps even more than some weapons in his vault.

Against servants who were in nature, spiritual entities. He was equally deadly, able to destroy them without the need to kill them.

And against defenses... He learnt the hard way. A conceptual true damage. Unable to be defended against.

No amount of armor or defenses could stop that true damage. And that stupid vision able to see the weaknesses of different objects or things.

Truly a stupid kit, but effective against most entities within the world.

"It means it's almost closing time." He slowed down realising the sign's declaration.

"All business and work closes at 9pm, please no large orders near closing time." - Glen, Seamster of Isolde's Work

"Now get out! Needles out!" His annoyance peaked as numerous giant needles formed mid air.

In a similar way they shot out towards the man as he soon exited the shop in a hurry.

"UGH!" He stomped on the floor a few times out of frustration as the mist completely filled the entire shop.

Numerous needles split off from the large ones and began to work furiously in order to finish on time.

Frankly, any normal person would never have been able to treat Gilgamesh that way, someone who was the epitome of arrogance. However, while they couldn't ever be friends, as he would only ever have one.

They could be considered close acquaintances due to Glen's good relationship with his younger self back when he drank the potion of youth.

The boy had grown used to the comfort his clothes provided exclaiming that even when he was older, he would make sure this shop would continue forever.

I suppose in that moment he gave his word to keep his precious clothing brand from staying alive for as long as possible.

And while it was his younger self, a king's word must always be kept and frankly Gilgamesh had a high tolerance when it came to those he respected.

"Oh my? A new customer at this late?"

The shop door had a few knocks as he opened it to find a blonde child with raggedy clothes holding another child with fearful eyes.

And that was a fateful meeting that changed both of their lives.
