She succeeded after all.
It was evening already as the Wei family settled down having their dinner. The table was filled with different delicacies. Master Wei was at the head of the table. On his left side sat Lihui and on his right RanRan. Yiming was sitting besides RanRan while Xinyi besides her mother.
"RanRan eat more." Master Wei said putting some meat in her bowl. "Thank you dad." She said and continued eating.
"Sister, you should also eat more vegetables." Yiming said and put some vegetables in her bowl. "Thank you Yiming. You should also eat more." RanRan said. He saw his sister glaring at him.
He put a piece of meat in Xinyi's bowl. "Xinyi, I know you are trying to lose weight but you should eat more. Look at how skinny you look." RanRan said while putting some meat in Xinyi's bowl.
Xinyi felt humiliated. She has been watching her figure. She wants the best body. So RanRan calling her skinny made her feel insulted. Xinyi always felt that RanRan uses care to insult her.
"Xinyi, you should listen to your sister. She cares for your health." Master Wei added. Xinyi nodded and continued eating. RanRan smirked internally.
"Miss RanRan, your mother has been calling you. " Butler Ru said while giving her the phone. RanRan received the phone and answered the call. She put the phone on loud because she knows how her father always wants to know everything.
"Ran, I thought you were coming here today." Yihan's voice echoed in the room, calm and collected . "Mom, I decided to spend time with dad and my siblings." RanRan responded.
"Your dad? Tell him that we have been invited to the Zheng household by Master Zheng. He should pick me up tomorrow afternoon. Tell him." Yihan said.
"Of course Yihan. I will make it in time." Master Wei responded. Yihan was quiet for a moment.
"Good. Master Wei don't bring your trailer. Just come alone. This is about RanRan so please I don't want uninvited guests." Yihan said coldly.
Everyone looked Lihui. It was obvious that Yihan didn't want Lihui involved in her daughter's affair. Yihan was someone who did not hide her hate for someone. She could tell someone directly how much she doesn't like them.
"Yihan, I know." Master Wei responded softly. "Good. Look after my daughter. RanRan sleep well. If you need anything call me." Yihan said and cut the call.
It was awkward at the dining table. Luhui wished she could strangle Chen Yihan.
"Mother, I apologize about mom's behavior. She has been stressed with work lately. Don't mind her. " RanRan said sadly. Luhui forced a smile but inside she was burning.
"It's alright dear." She responded. They finished their dinner silently. Luhui went to her room. She was so angry.
"How dare that woman insult me!!" Luhui yelled. Xinyi also entered the room.
"Mom, they are going to discuss about the marriage. Please do something. Please." Xinyi pleaded.
"Don't worry. Just chill. We have plenty of opportunities to ruin it and the best time is the engagement." Luhui said smiling evily.
"Xinyi the media will be there. I have a perfect plan to ruin her image and make the Zheng family reject her." Luhui said smiling evily.

Meanwhile, Zheng Lin heard about the meeting between his parents and RanRan's parents. He was in his room thinking something when his door opened. He hated people who entered his room without knocking.
"Brother Lin." A high pitched voice said. Lin looked at Fenying coldly who just entered his room. Fenying of course noticed his glare but chose to ignore it.
"Li Fenying, what do you want? Who asked you to enter my room without knocking?" Lin said angrily.
"Brother Lin, I just wanted to spend sometime with you. I'm sorry. Brother Lin can we take a walk together?" Fenying asked happily.
"Get out Fenying." Lin responded making the lady feel disheartened.
"Brother Lin, I wanted to spend some time with you." Fenying said. She looked so pitiful that any man would have fallen for her trick.
"I'm calling the guard. Get out of my room." Lin said glaring at her. Fenying's eyes widened. She did not expect Zheng Lin to be this rude towards her.
She did not want the word to spread in the mansion that Lin got guards to escort her out of his room. With tears falling she left and rushed to her room.
He looked at the garden and remembered something from his childhood.
FLASHBACK
"Little Ran catch me if you can!" Young Zheng Lin shouted while running around in the garden with little RanRan following behind him. RanRan fell down and started crying making Lin rush to her.
"Little Ran, what happened?" He asked while she held her ankle and cried harder.
"Don't cry little Ran. I will heal you." Lin said and kissed her ankle. RanRan's eyes widened.
"Brother Lin promise you will marry me?" RanRan asked making Lin look at her shocked.
"My mommy and dad kiss a lot. It means only married people kiss. You kiss my ankle does that mean you will marry me?" RanRan asked curiously.
"If you can make me marry you then I will without questions." Lin responded making Ran beam at him.
"Of course. Little RanRan promise to make Zheng Lin hers no matter what." RanRan said happily.
Zheng Lin came out of his thoughts and smirked. "Seems like she did find a way to marry me. My cunning little RanRan." Lin said smiling happily.
He is also in love with RanRan. He was not approaching her because he wanted RanRan to do it on her own. Seems like his soon to be wife is capable.
"Interesting. So interesting." Said Lin.

Fenying was in her room crying historically. Wanli was trying to make her calm.
"Calm down Fenying. It's just a matter of time. He will notice you." Wanli comforted her daughter instead of making her come to her senses.
"Mom the way he threw me out was so embarrassing. " Fenying responded wiping her tears.
"He wants you im sure. He is just afraid because you are his cousin." Wanli said making her daughter more delusional.
Fenying looked at her mother hopeful. If Zheng Lin is afraid because she is his cousin then she can make him comfortable. She can make him realize that it doesn't matter only their love is important.
"Mom, I will make him see that our love is worth it. I will try everything to make him comfortable with the fact that he loves me even though we are cousins." Fenying said determined.
"Yes that's my daughter. Just make him realize that only your love matters. Fenying take him away from that RanRan." Wanli said.
It was such a laughable site. Mother and daughter duo are plotting to make Lin marry his cousin.
Another mother and daughter duo in the Wei mansion were also plotting to make Lin marry RanRan's step sister.
