Lesia was watching the entire situation, She had regained consciousness while factions were fighting and hasn't spoken to Misty since.
She understood why her friend did what she did. Some dirtier guilds didn't like how Summer Guild operated focusing more on clearing rifts rather than the potential profits hidden within or the superiority they felt to normal people.
"Where there are people, there will always be some form of problems" She sighed to herself
Valentine growled as thick vines rushed out of the ground with just as equal large thorns. They gripped onto the building he and the Nox individuals were in. His frosty blue eyes stared at the mirror with undivided attention.
"I'm doing what I need to." Gabriel spoke unworried
The teen shot forward like a spring and his hands became claws and Gabriel moved aside. Valentine landed on the tar on the tips of his toes, creating a crater and jumped up toward the Pioneer. He held a vine and flung it toward him and the thick vines moved toward him from the other side.
"Give the mirror up, you love brain!" Valentine frowned
Everyone noticed that the Nox head was aiming only for the mirror that was the mysterious auction item. What was it?
"You didn't care before when it was being auctioned." Gabriel smiled as he made a orb of harsh light
Valentine snarled landing on a nearby building, "We made a relic, can't have a historical item disappear. The item was in high demand because of its slightly boosted abilities."
Gabriel agreed, "True. The fake wasn't anything remarkable."
"That's actually very nice, useful and worth the hype." everyone thought feeling a bit insulted
Valentine clicked his tongue as he made all the vines and new ones rise into tall pillars. He jumped through them with remarkable speed and Gabriel pushed back looked at the person nearby him. He raised the mirror, an force pulled him into the accessory and that's what actually got everyone's attention.
"It's like talking to a brick wall!" The teen cursed as he tunneled into the ground
There was silence and Gabriel kept his guard up. The minute you underestimate someone is the chance they have to defeat you.
"Could he have another ability?!" A government official frowned "This is bad."
Gabriel called out, "That was the last of the Wonderland Faction."
The entranced individuals rushed toward the Pioneer releasing their abilities. Valentine made them disregard their safety and focus on inflicting life threatening wounds. Gabriel sucked in everyone of them into the mirror even as his open wounds were targeted repeatedly and blood split to the ground.
"Two Factions and two more left." Gabriel informed
The factions started to run away and find hiding locations. Who was Gabriel McVon, someone you didn't want to fight as he was in the top 20 globally recognized Pioneer Powerhouses. He shot forward aiming for Underworld faction next.
Lesia watched everything intent. She noticed both Gabriel and Valentine had plenty of opportunities to attack properly, she knew that her husband could and recent situations had shown that the teenage wasn't a pushover either.
"Is it that they can't?" she thought in surprise
Valentine's voice echoed, "I really like this city, damn it."
The ground shook violently. The flowers burst and scattering their petals and the pillars bloomed roses as well scattered their petals. A woman stopped and looked at the ethereal scene with a complex feeling of wonder, awe and distain to the wicked person who could make something so beautiful happen.
A petal feel on her outstretched palm and a scream tore thorough the breathtaking picture. The building started to disintegrate into petals as well as faction members who were touched by them. The woman looked back at her arm or she thought she did. The right arm, leg and a portion of her torso had turned to petals.
She feel over and looked up at the night sky packed generously with stars, with the snow white full moon as ruby red petals danced around without a care in the world and brought doom to all who interrupted they movement.
"It's still....beau-" she said as she disappeared into petals
Gabriel was now rushed, sucking anyone except fellow Pioneers and Government individuals into the mirror with panicked movements.
Valentine's voice echoed, "Come on, give up. The mirror needs an intact body to charge up just let go."
Gabriel ignored the whispers of his son, as well as those of familiar people he knew telling him to give up. They voices caused by Valentine came in all forms, soft pleading, blaming, ordering and coaxing but the man moved forward this purpose. The Underworld Faction was destroyed.
"Almost there." Gabriel thought
He pushed through the pain and raced the petals to more victims of the Weeping Bride Mirror. There were a few light blue jewels on it that no one had noticed which were turning red as well. Valentine pushed himself forcing the petals to move faster.
A faint sound of quiet, bitter crying began to echo throughout the city and griped the cowering citizens in more terror. The two chased after the villains and Valentine felt he was rapidly approaching his limit, metallic tazte filled his mouth as he forced his ability to move and the last one was end by Valentine.
He pulled himself out a thick vine and stood on a building across of Gabriel. He looked at the mirror in silence and his face froze when he saw only red gems.
"Too late, seems I took a bit more than you expected before you noticed the mirror." He spoke
The crying blended in someone. Valentine opened his phone seeing a message from his brother.
"The helicopter will be here soon, stay put and don't do anything stupid." The teen sighed heavily
The vines enclosing the city that never joined the battle began to move and create an opening at the top of he dome. Valentine looked back at Gabriel and felt his smugness oozing into the air.
"I'll pay you back for this, you damn trait-" Valentine began and vanished along with Gabriel
As though the were simply erased from a paper, no warning just gone. The sound of the helicopter decided to take enter the composition and Jerome walked out.
"Have you seen Vladimir? He was inside on the way here but then-" he started
Sebastian interrupted, "Vanished. So did Valentine but let's move Blake to the hospital."
"Can't. There's another barrier a few kilometers away from the vines dome, we only managed to enter because of Vladimir. Likely we brought some healers to help stabilize him as well." Jerome told
A woman looked outside and sighed, "The Weeping Mirror."
They turned to the mirror floating in the air and a lace decorated hand came out of it. Elsewhere a camera was being held in area to obtain the best view of everything and a news reporter asked the cameraman.
"So still rolling?" she asked
The cameraman nodded, "We're still live."
"This will be the best footage of our lives and we could even retire with the cash it will bring." she beamed applying pressure to the wound on her arm
Everyone was now looking at the mirror which the assumed the bride was coming out of.
"Has anyone seen my groom" a soft voice asked
