after class i pretty much B lined straight to where i say the dude who bumped into me earlier "hey! are you the guy who bumped into me earlier?" was the first thing i said to him and immediately he started losing it "ohh uhh yea im so so so sorry about that! i understand if you hate i uhh-" i cut him off before he could continue "no no no i dont care that you dumped into me! i actually wanted to say hi and introduce my self since you seemed cool! plus you saved me about 3 minutes before i had to go to class so i should be thanking you for that! im hermes by the way! and you are?" i waited for his response for about a minute or two since my remark seemed to have left him in shock "uhh im ash and its nice to know your not mad at me thanks for that" "no problem! its my first day here anyway! so i was kind of expecting to have something like this happen." ash then looked at me like i had grown a second head "why would you have problems on your first day?" "well im new so everyone already has a group of friends and it can be hard to make friends or fit in right for the first few days" after i said that he looked at me like everything had finally clicked or fit right into place "oh your new! are you here sense that school by the river burned down or just had to move schools?" "yea my old school burned down but the email they sent our said it shut down due to 'unforeseen circumstances involving fire and/or explosions' so i guess it just shut down" he laughed after i said that "how does an explosion not just destroy the building?" "it was just a small explosion! small enough not hurt anyone and big enough to shut down a school! it makes perfect sense!" he laughed again slightly louder then before but before he could respond the bell rang (go to next chapter)
