Chapter 11 - The Revelation

Victor's words hung in the air like a challenge, and Alex's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. What had the police found? He glanced at Ahmed, whose expression had turned pale, a flicker of fear in his eyes.

"Let's hear it," Alex said, his voice firm, as he nodded to Victor.

Victor stepped back inside, his eyes locked onto Ahmed's. "The police found a hidden account, linked to Ahmed's name. It contains millions of dollars, transferred from NovaTech's accounts."

The room fell silent, the only sound the hum of the air conditioning. Ahmed's face turned red, then white, as he spluttered, "That's not true! It's a setup!"

Aisha's eyes widened, her voice barely above a whisper. "The evidence we found earlier... it was all a trap, wasn't it?"

Ahmed's eyes darted around the room, like a trapped animal searching for an escape. "Ahmed, you're not going anywhere," Alex said, his voice cold as steel. "You're going to pay for what you've done."

The police burst in, and Ahmed was taken away, shouting and cursing as he went. The room was silent, the only sound Ahmed's fading screams.

Aisha let out a breath, her eyes wide with shock.

"We did it, Alex. We stopped him."

Victor nodded, a small smile on his face. "But at what cost? We can't trust anyone, not even ourselves."

Alex's eyes locked onto Victor's, a glimmer of determination in his eyes. "We'll be vigilant, Victor.

We'll make sure NovaTech is safe, no matter what it takes."

As the police led Ahmed away, Alex, Victor, and Aisha shared a look, a silent understanding passing between them. They had won this battle, but the war was far from over.

The camera panned out, showing the city of Malaki, the sun setting over the skyscrapers. The game was on, and only time would tell who would come out on top.
