The sky turned a strange color.
One half reflected the pale glow of the Artificial Full Moon, while the other half burned with the golden-red radiance surrounding Krillin.
Krillin hovered in the air as the halo behind him rotated slowly, scattering faint particles of light.
The pressure he released was so intense that even the air itself felt heavy.
"He's bluffing! He has to be bluffing!"
Great Ape Vegeta forced down the fear rising inside him and roared wildly.
He refused to believe that an Earthling without even a tail could surpass the power of a Great Ape transformation.
"I am a Saiyan elite with a combat power of 180,000! Die!"
Vegeta opened his massive jaws as destructive energy gathered deep in his throat.
This time, he held nothing back.
All his energy gathered into a single attack.
"Super Energy Cannon Attack!"
A purplish-red energy wave dozens of meters wide shot toward Krillin, carrying enough power to destroy half a continent.
Even space itself seemed to warp under its heat as it screamed through the air.
Facing such an attack, Krillin did not move.
He simply watched the beam approach calmly and slowly raised his right palm.
"Amitabha."
Krillin spoke softly. Since he was already acting the role, he decided to act it properly.
Then he gently pushed his palm forward.
There was no flashy technique name.
Only pure physical strength combined with terrifying energy.
Clap.
The enormous purplish-red beam struck Krillin's palm and stopped instantly, as if it had hit an invisible wall.
Then the beam shattered.
It broke apart into countless purple sparks that scattered through the sky and vanished like fireworks.
"Wha... what?!" Vegeta's enormous eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
With one hand?
Krillin blocked a full-power attack from a combat power of 180,000 without even moving?
"Your killing intent is too heavy."
Krillin's voice remained calm, but the red aura around his body surged again as Kaioken reached full output.
"Since you refuse to return to normal, I'll help you cool down physically."
Krillin pulled back his palm and slowly formed a fist.
He drew it back to his waist.
At that moment, the world became silent.
The wind stopped.
The clouds froze.
Even distant explosions seemed to disappear.
All attention gathered on Krillin's ordinary-looking fist.

"Take this, Vegeta."
Krillin's golden pupils flashed with light.
"Serious Punch!"
He threw the punch.
A pillar of pure white force erupted from his fist.
It was not just light.
It was compressed air and energy powerful enough to pierce through a planet.
The beam crossed the battlefield instantly and struck Great Ape Vegeta directly in the chest.
There was no explosion at first.
The punch moved faster than sound itself.
Vegeta could not even scream.
It felt like a meteor had crashed into his chest.
His Great Ape body, which seemed indestructible moments ago, became fragile as paper.
The force pierced straight through him and shattered the energy maintaining his transformation.
"Pfft...!"
The Great Ape spat blood into the sky as his massive body flew backward uncontrollably.
The white pillar of force continued pushing him across the battlefield, smashing through more than ten mountain peaks and carving a massive canyon into the ground.
Finally, it slammed him into a wasteland outside East City.
Only then did the explosion arrive.
A massive mushroom cloud rose into the sky as a powerful shockwave flattened everything within ten kilometers.
When the light faded, the Artificial Full Moon also disappeared, shattered by the aftereffects of the punch.
Krillin slowly lowered his fist as the golden-red light around his body faded.
[Status Deactivated: Saint Buddha Form]
[Kaioken Deactivated]
[Body Load: Slight soreness (Saitama Physique repairing rapidly)]
Krillin let out a long breath and rubbed his bald head.
"Oops. I might have overdone it. I hope I didn't kill him. Otherwise I'd have to go find him in the Other World, and that would be annoying."
He teleported to the edge of the crater he had just created.
At the bottom of the crater, the massive Great Ape was gone.
Only Vegeta remained.
He lay naked and covered in blood at the center of the crater, completely unconscious.
A clear fist mark remained on his chest, and many of his bones were obviously broken.
His Saiyan tail had shriveled from the damage and energy impact.
The arrogant Saiyan prince now looked completely defeated.
"That's rough."
Krillin crouched at the crater's edge and checked his System panel.
[Target: Vegeta]
[Status: Deep coma, multiple fractures, energy exhausted]
[HP: 5% (Near-death protection active)]
"Good. He's still alive."
At that moment, Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, and the others arrived.
They stared at the enormous crater and then at Vegeta lying motionless at the bottom.
No one spoke for a long time.
"We... we won?" Yamcha finally asked quietly.
"That power..." Tien Shinhan said as he clenched his fists in shock.
Supported by Gohan, Goku walked closer and looked down at Vegeta with a complicated expression.
"Krillin... you! The way you are now, I'm afraid even King Kai couldn't beat you."
Goku smiled bitterly.
"Maybe," Krillin replied with a shrug as he took out a Senzu Bean and tossed it lightly in his hand.
"Anyway, this mess is finally over."
Trunks ran over and hugged Krillin's leg excitedly.
"Dad! That glowing red form just now was amazing! I want to learn it too! I want to learn the punch that sent the giant monkey flying!"
"Alright, alright. I'll teach you when you're older," Krillin said with a smile as he rubbed Trunks' head.
Of course, he knew this ability came from the System. Even if Trunks wanted to learn it, he could not teach it.
A breeze passed through the battlefield ruins, carrying away the smell of smoke and blood.
The setting sun shone across the land, casting long shadows behind everyone.
Earth was safe.
And the proud Saiyan prince still lay quietly at the bottom of the crater.
