Wrath that felt like molten iron pouring through his veins, a rage that was moments away from consuming every aspect of himself. That was the overwhelming feeling radiating from Tsuna in this moment.
He considered himself a good person, but there were certain lines in the sand that must not be crossed. This fucking abomination had not only crossed that line, he had steamrolled them.
So this near-murderous intention was entirely expected.
Tsuna shifted his attention to this Thing, watching it like a hawk. The smug little asshole was looking back at him as if this was all some game to him. He had entered his life and fucked with his mother's mind for shits and giggles.
It was infuriating beyond anything Tsuna had ever felt in his life. This never-ending wrath demanded action. It screamed for this Thing's blood, to tear this fucking smug prick apart and beat it to death with its own limbs. To show this monster that it could not do what it wanted simply because it held more power.
Tsuna almost acted in that moment, but that molten anger cooled. It did not fade because Tsuna knew that fighting this Thing was a doomed endeavor. It did not calm because his own rationality held him back. No, the reason the wrath became cold was because it crossed into a whole new territory of anger.
Not the blood-burning anger he felt before, but a cold, calculating wrath. It brought about a clarity that Tsuna desperately needed in this moment, but it also brought about a horrifying notion.
Tsuna wanted this thing dead. This was not anger speaking; this was not the wrath that was consuming him. This was a cold, hard fact that was ingrained in his bones.
It had crossed that line, so Tsuna was going to stain his hands with its blood. There was no other option.
Did that make Tsuna a horrible person? Perhaps. But at this moment he did not care for morality or even who he was as a person.
"I need to head out now, Kaa-san," Tsuna spoke out softly, ignoring this Thing for a moment. The monster just watched him with amusement dancing in its eyes, as if waiting to see what show he was going to put on.
His mother, on the other hand, let out a light laugh and waved him off.
"Of course. I don't want to hold you back from meeting with your new girlfriend, Tsu-kun," she teased as she headed toward the kitchen with a hum. The glint in the baby's eyes increased, but Tsuna ignored it.
He walked out of his home with a grace that was entirely unfamiliar. He had initially planned on rushing to school with everything he had. But that was no longer in his future.
Such a shame, he was going to be late again today. That, or dead, in which case it was no longer a problem.
Reborn followed along, watching him the entire time. The duo walked down the street in complete silence. It would have looked almost harmonious if Tsuna's bloodlust had not been boiling off of him the entire time.
Once Tsuna felt he was far enough from his home, he paused, shifting from one foot to the other to face the baby with a blank expression. Reborn just let out a chuckle as he looked deep into Tsuna's near-empty gaze.
Tsuna activated Time Accel as far as he could push it, not caring if his body started breaking down from the sheer force he was putting it under. His arm rushed forward toward the baby with his fingers curled into claws.
That claw was aimed at the toddler's eyes. He was likely to break his fingers, but he would gouge out this creature's eyes.
An acceptable loss.
The child let out another chuckle and shifted back, avoiding the attack entirely.
"You get bonus points for going for the kill, but if you are going to kill someone, you need to learn how to hide your bloodlust," Reborn commented idly as his foot came down on Tsuna's outstretched hand, slamming it into the pavement.
Tsuna's hand was certainly broken from that impact, but he firmed his resolve and followed the momentum he had created, rolling into a handstand. He then slammed his own foot down toward the toddler with an axe kick.
He pushed Time Accel even further in a split second so the speed was faster than what he had output before. His blood vessels were starting to burst, but he just gritted his teeth and watched this Thing, making sure his attack would strike.
His kick struck down with near-blinding speed, but this Thing just grabbed the lizard on his head and moved to block the kick. The lizard burst into rainbow colors as it shifted into a green fucking gun.
Tsuna made contact, but he felt like he hit a fucking wall. Despite the momentum he had built, Reborn was able to stop his assault dead still. The child then pushed back and had Tsuna airborne in a moment from the sudden force.
"Much faster than I thought you were as well," Reborn idly commented before frowning briefly at blood staining his sleeve from Tsuna's kick landing. "Although, it appears you are pushing your body well past what it can handle." Another idle comment as the child faced the airborne Tsuna with a smirk dancing on its face.
"The report about you was completely wrong. Interesting," Reborn spoke out with a chuckle as he aimed his pistol at the airborne target.
Tsuna gritted his teeth as his eyes went wide. He was a sitting duck in the air. But there was something more pressing than the possibility of being shot.

[Received one Advance Silver ticket.]
Tsuna eyed the ticket that appeared in his hand suddenly but ignored it for a moment as he activated Time Accel to accelerate his fall. The bullet that was fired from the gun grazed his head as he fell at an unnatural rate.
Time Accel was not about increasing his speed; it was about increasing his timeline in relative position. The glint in Reborn's eyes increased even further as he shifted his gun to aim at Tsuna's new position.
"Well, your trick is a bit more special than expected, but I'm tired of letting you bare your fangs. How about I help you along?" Reborn asked with a smirk as he pulled the trigger again.
Again Tsuna's eyes went wide as he scrambled to get out of the way, but something deep inside of him told him there was no point. That bullet was going to hit its target no matter what he did.
That did not mean he was not going to do nothing. He tilted his head desperately as he ripped the ticket in his hand apart.

Tsuna examined the two entries at lightning speed and selected Iron Fist without hesitation. He tried to place his hands between the bullet and his head, maybe this iron-like quality would hold back the fatal shot.
His hands burned like nothing else, but he was already pushing the pain of a shattered hand away. What was a little more pain?
He actually managed to get his hand up in time, but the bullet just slipped through his fingers and struck Tsuna dead center in his forehead.
He felt the bullet enter his head. Every moment felt like slow motion as he knew he had failed. He glared at the little fuck with gritted teeth. He was going to die.
He was going to remain No-Good-Tsuna from now on. He finally had a chance at being a real living person, but it was going to be snuffed out on the whim of a monster.
FUCK THAT!
Tsuna knew he was dying, but he refused to go out like this. If he was going to die, then he wanted to cave in this fucker's face!
The fire that had burned inside of him since he first used the Chaos Gacha came back like a never-ending tide. Bright orange flames with a core of deep crimson burst from his hands and his head. His clothes burned off of him in embers as he burst toward this monster with everything he had.
The world was only this moment, an obsession that seemed to drive his dying body. He was going to punch that smug fucker till his head popped like a grape. That was going to happen, or he was going to die trying.
The child just smirked at him as he drew closer. Tsuna snarled out as he pushed Time Accel again, this newfound strength allowing him to push his body even further than he could before.
The surrounding world seemed to blur as he traveled toward the monster. His whole body flashed forward to put everything into this punch.
His clenched fist was moments away from connecting, but yet again this monster shifted, using his gun to hook Tsuna's fist and drive it toward the pavement. Unlike before, the ground cracked from his punch, a small crater forming and the flames bursting from his hands seemed to melt and devour the stone everywhere they touched.
"Well, yet another thing wrong. Your Sky Flame purity is remarkable, but you also have a strong Storm Flame. You could have given Xanxus an actual challenge. Your father remains an idiot if this is the no-good son he was talking about," Reborn commented idly before shifting his gun toward Tsuna's open head.
Tsuna's eyes went wide at the information that was being thrown at him. The information was both confusing and shocking, shocking enough that his own anger paused for a brief moment as he tried to contemplate what the fuck everything meant.
Sadly, he did not have time to figure out the mess this monster had just thrown at him.
"Well, I confirmed the Sky Flames. Which means you are officially the tenth-generation Vongola candidate. Congrats, kid. Now it's nap time," Reborn commented lightly before pulling the trigger again. Once more a bullet struck him in the head. This one did not enter him, but he felt woozy and dead tired as soon as it connected.
He looked at this fucking thing one last time as his consciousness slipped away. He was going to fucking kill this midget if he woke up from this.
