"So…where are we really going" asked Miho, "I know you…and I know there is no terran prisoner camp."
Thalia smiled, clearly caught in a lie.
"There is something I want to see…I think its important." Thalia said.
The two ladies approached a thick section of the jungle covered in thick vines and tightly intertwined branches. Hidden behind that section of the jungle was a large mountain…a portion of it had been carved out. Large ape-like guards were patrolling it.
"I count 20 guards…and if you include the digging and hauling creatures, there is probably 100 or more beasts by the entrance of that mountain. There might be way more inside the mountain…how are we going to get in?" Miho asked.
"I have never done this before…give me a second…I want to try something."

Thalia reached out to Miho with her mana…it twisted and enclosed her. Miho was startled for a moment, but trusted her friend.
"This is so freaky…I can see what you are seeing…its like I have 2 different sets of eyes." Miho said in bewilderment.
["It worked! Can you hear me?"] Thalia asked.
["Wow…I can hear you…in my head…can you hear me?"] Miho asked
["Yes, I hear you…good…it looks like we can share senses…not just sight but also a deeper perception…by the way, what is that awful smell?] Thalia asked.
Miho burst into a frantic laughter…she replied through shared-senses.
["That smell is you…I was going to tell you to please take a bath…you stink girl"]
The two girls laughed.

Thalia explained the plan. The plan was for Miho to transform into a beast and enter the mountain…they hoped the ape-guards would let Miho pass without problems. Once inside the mountain, Miho would gather intel including the layout, the number of guards, exits, etc.
["Can't you just use your special eye skill and look into the mountain?"] Miho asked.
["I'm having a lot of trouble seeing…its very fuzzy…there must be a strong barrier inside that is distorting my connection…but that shouldn't interfere much with our shared-senses."] Thalia replied with confidence.
Miho entered the mountain without a problem…the ape-guards didn't seem to notice anything unusual. She swiftly and silently made her way through the passageways, scouting rooms, guards, and other notable features.
Using shared-senses, the two girls shared their thoughts about the mountain layout. Miho stopped, remained silent for a moment…then said, ["I think the dungeon boss is here."]
That confirmed Thalia's suspicion…the dungeon boss was indeed inside the mountain.
["Wait right there…I am coming."] Thalia said.
["What?! Are you crazy?! What are you…"] Miho exclaimed.
Before she could finish her thought, she heard a loud explosion…followed by a chorus of thunder sounds.
Like a raging bull, Thalia rushed into the mountain…like an enraged angel she charged in. Glowing in her bright-white mana amor…cleaving her way through hoards of ape guards. The two girls soon met up…back-to-back they fought against hundreds of magic beasts.

["This is nice…reminds me of old times."] Thalia said with some humor.
["I really need a vacation after this…no more jungles…shopping would be nice"] Miho said.
After the last of the guards was defeated…and the mountain grew awfully silent. Thalia inspected the mountain from within using her special skill and quickly found the boss room. The two made their way there.
