[Hyde POV]
Eric and Fez went upstairs to get some snacks. I, however, went into my room.
"Now, where did I put my stash again?"
I was trying to find the snacks I've hidden inside my bedroom. Pepero chocolate, Lay's chips, Cheetos, M&M, and more.
I heard some rummaging around while I was checking in the closet. I turned and saw Jackie searching around my desk.
"I can't find anything. What are we looking for again?" she asked, still experiencing the high effect.
"Some snacks," I said casually.
"Oh. Like this one?" She pulled out the Lay's chip from my upper shelves.
I installed the shelves myself, sort of a way for me to put a TV into the room and watch a movie while on the bed.
"Nice." I grinned.
We sat on my bed and ate the chips together.
"It's so salty." She licked her lips slightly.
"Here." I popped open a can of Coke Zero for her. She took it happily and downed it in one shot.
"Puhaa." She wiped her lips and turned to me, asking abruptly, "Do you want to fool around?"
I straightened my back in surprise and replied, "Sure."
We both leaned in close to each other and made out. She stuck her tongue into my mouth, and I fought back the intruder, even doing a reverse invasion.
Soon after, we fell into the bed and made out while lying side by side.
…
After the effect wore off, I realized I had been making out with Jackie.
Startled, I pulled myself away from her immediately.
"What– What is happening?" Jackie was taken aback.
"Why are we kissing?" I was shocked. "We don't kiss. We don't do anything."
"Wait. Why not?" Jackie was annoyed. "You kissed me too, so you do have feelings for me."
"No, I don't. Besides, I'm not going to have feelings for a girl who spent her entire day obsessing about her ex's new girlfriend. So… get out."
Jackie gasped and said, "Yeah. I'm angry at Laurie. That doesn't mean that I'm still in love with Michael!"
"I don't care. Just get out." I scolded her.
She grumbled and walked to the door. She turned and said threateningly, "This isn't over. I'm going to force you to face your feelings for me no matter what!"
"I DON'T HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR YOU!" I snapped.
After she left, I rubbed my forehead in frustration. "I really need to go get laid."
But I wasn't going to make a move on Jackie.
It was already 11, so I went to sleep and woke up early the next morning.
"Summer vacation is finally here!"
I went to have breakfast and watched Scooby-Doo on TV in the basement. Kelso and Fez came to hang out too.
"You know, I missed you guys. Yeah this place just isn't the same when I'm not around." Kelso said vainly.
I grimaced and said, "When are you ever not around?"
Eric came into the basement suddenly through the side door. "Oh hey. You guys wanna hear a really funny story? I was just upstairs, and Red was yelling at me about you." He turned serious for a bit as he looked at Kelso.
Then, he added with a smile, "And, uh, then I said, 'what are you doing yelling at me, Kelso is right downstairs. In fact. I'll go get him for ya,' I said!"
I snickered. "Now that is a funny story!"
Kelso's eyes shifted around. He pretended to be tough and said, "I don't care. I'll talk to Red. He was really mean to me, and here I brought him a fivepack. So I hope he is ready to apologize."
He stood up and walked behind the couch.
Eric chortled out loud as he heard Kelso. "Oooohhh yeah."
I smirked and said, "Yeah that's it. If there's one thing Red's about, it's forgiveness…"
Fez rebuked me abruptly, "No he's not. He's the opposite of that!...Oh wait." He suddenly realized and laughed, "I get you! Funny!"
I laughed a bit seeing Fez's belated understanding of the joke. Kelso didn't even get the joke as he willingly went to meet up with Red in the garage.
-Tv-
Red closed the garage door to prevent anyone from seeing what's happening inside.
Kelso stood in the middle of the garage fearfully.
"Wait, uh, Red, can't we leave that open?" He asked.
"Have a seat Kelso." Red forced Kelso to sit on the chair there. He went to the side of the garage, over by the tools and grabbed a pair of pliers.
"You know, I've been thinking a lot about your "relationship" with my only daughter."
"She's a gem." Kelso said.
Red squeezed the plier shut. "Shut up." He snapped at Kelso. "Kitty says that if the two of you want to see each other there's nothing I can do about it. But she's wrong. 'Cause I could kill ya."
Kelso looked at Red with his mouth hanging open.
"That's a joke Kelso. You should laugh when I make a joke." Red said with a playful smile.
Kelso shuddered and laughed worriedly, "Hey good one Red…"
"See you're making me think that I should take a personal interest in you. And you don't want that. Take Eric for example. I have a personal interest in him."
"Oh God." Kelso exclaimed fearfully.
"There you go. What you wanna do here, is fly in under my radar. So that if I never see you and Laurie together, or hear your name mentioned in the same breath I might just forget that you even exist. Got it?"
Kelso nodded and said, "Yeah. Okay so you mean if me and Laurie…"
"Uh-uh now, see, you just mentioned my daughter's name." Red interjected menacingly..
"I'm sorry. Okay uhh, if Kelso and your daughter…"
"No no no no, see that's not gonna work either."
"Well this is hard Red!" Kelso whined.
Red snapped at him, "Well you gonna be here till you get it right Kelso!"
"Well okay Red, but eventually my parents are gonna come looking for me." Kelso said, clutching on his last lifeline.
"Yeah, but they're not gonna find ya!" Red said threateningly.
Kelso's face turned pale.
Red rolled his eyes and said, "Well that's another joke! Come on, laugh Kelso!"
His chin quivered, he hugged his body and started to cry.
…
In the Forman basement, Jackie came again this afternoon and sat on my spot. She kept glancing at me as I was reading the magazine.
Laurie walked down the stairs, wearing slutty clothes. Donna and Fez were talking by the record player, discussing some albums.
"Oh you again. What happened, did they let out kindergarten early today?" Laurie taunted Jackie from behind the couch.
Jackie didn't even look at her. "Whatever." She replied.
I looked at Jackie proudly.
Laurie was taken aback and was dissatisfied, "Jackie don't you have a lame comeback, saved for just this very occasion?"
Jackie kept reading, "That's cool."
Laurie taunted, "Ohhh so now you're little Miss Cool huh."
"Whatever." Jackie flipped to the next page.
"Well, if you're really as cool as you think you are, you would have been able to hold on to your one true love. But you couldn't, could you? Loser!" Laurie felt that she had won. "Oh well."
As Laurie turned to Donna and Fez, Jackie growled, threw her magazine aside, and jumped over the three-seater couch.
She did a lariat to Laurie, bringing her down on the ground. They began fighting instantly.
"Catfight!!" Fez screamed.
I went next to Fez to watch immediately.
"You guys stop it!!" Donna tried to interfere, but she pulled back immediately.
"OWWW! You bit me! Jackie hit her in the eye!!" Donna told Jackie.
Jackie grabbed Laurie's hair, and began beating on her. I watched the fight as if I was hypnotized.
"Oh I know! We can throw water on them and then we can see through their shirts!" Fez suggested.
Both Donna and I tilted our heads in confusion as we looked at Fez.
Jackie stood up and gave Laurie one last kick. "Bitch!" She stomped on her.
Laurie ran up the stairs crying, her knot on her shirt had untied, revealing her bra.
"You kicked her ass man!" I exclaimed with excitement.
Jackie was out of breath. She fixed her hair and said, "Yeah yeah, whatever…" She leaned in to Donna and hugged her.
"Oh my god, I'm so turned on!" Fez exclaimed.
"Oh, you're bleeding." Jackie checked on Donna.
"I have a med box in my room." I said and brought out the first aid kit.
Jackie and Donna sat on the couch. Jackie opened the box and cleaned out Donna's wound.
Eric came to the basement and asked, "What happened? Did I miss something?"
"Man. You missed out on the event of the year." I said excitedly. "Jackie hitting Laurie in the eye."
"Really?" Eric widened his eyes in excitement.
"Aren't you going to care for your girlfriend? I'm bleeding here." Donna called Eric with disbelief.
Jackie laughed and said, "Stop being a baby." She took out the alcohol swab and slathered it on Donna's wound.
"What the– AHHH!" Donna yelled in pain.
"Stop being a baby!" Jackie scolded her again. Eric sat next to Jackie willingly.
"I can't believe Laurie bit me. I hope she didn't give me like slut rabies." Donna whined as Jackie put a bandage on her wound.
"Jackie, you're my hero!" Eric poked Jackie's shoulder. Jackie looked at him with confusion.
"You hit her in the eye!" Eric was really excited. He wanted to do that for so long.
"Yeah, but I guess it wasn't very Zen of me, was it, Hyde?" Jackie turned to me.
"Well, where Zen ends... ass-kicking begins. And that's your final lesson, Grasshopper." I said casually.
"Hey man. Let's do that thing where we all sit in a circle again." Jackie suggested.
We all exchanged glances with each other, and decided to smoke again.
While I was smoking, I realized that the episode had ended.

As I watched it, I realized they included the part where Jackie and I were making out in my room.
The audience cheered tremendously during that scene. Like when Monica–and–Chandler-got-together level of cheering.
"Damn it."
…
That afternoon, I went to Megan's house to continue the renovation. But I was feeling lazy so I grabbed a chair and hung out there for a bit while watching a movie.
I put a TV there, and connected a VHS player to it. The movies were part of the tapes I bought from a used VHS store online.
I was watching 70s movies I found online to figure out what style of movies would work in the current era theater.
Currently, I was watching Dirty Harry, a 1971 movie. Played by Clint Eastwood.
"Hey."
I heard a soft voice calling me from behind. Talia was in the house, working on her art. She wore a jean overalls that was filled with splashes of paint, and she carried a canvas with her.
"Hey." I greeted, surprised by her presence. "What are you doing here?"
"This place is quiet. I know you haven't started yet, so I'm using it for my studio." She said casually.
I smiled and said, "I'm planning to start on Monday. So you can hang out here too."
"Cool." She said casually and reached for my beers, sitting cross legged next to me and watched the movie too.
We watched the entire movie without speaking a word to each other.
When the credit rolled, she stood up and wiped her bottom.
"I'm leaving now." She said curtly.
I nodded and asked, "Hey. What kind of movie would you watch in the theater?"
She was intrigued and turned to me. "Romance." She replied firmly and left.
I sipped on the beer and mumbled to myself. "Romance huh… I don't think I have that in me."
I shook my head slightly and watched another movie. It was almost time for dinner, so I decided to head back home.
When I was walking to my car, I saw a couple of wild flowers had grown where I cut the grass before, gently swaying from the wind.
"Hmm…" I mused slightly.
'I've been watching the renovation videos on instagram…the trope of builder husband and artsy wife is trending. Maybe I could do something based on that.'
And there was one more thing that made me excited.
"If I did this… I could get back the tax write-off for this house that I planned for in the beginning."
I went back home and saw Donna, Eric, and Fez in the basement hanging out. Kelso and Laurie had gone out on a date together.
Also to avoid Red, Kelso wouldn't be hanging out here for a few days I assume.
"Hey. Where have you been?" Donna asked.
"Hanging out at Megan's house. Watching Dirty Harry." I said casually.
"I want to watch that." Eric whined.
"Here." I gave him the tape. "In exchange for this, can I have your girlfriend for the night?"
Eric was flabbergasted, furrowing his eyebrow as he glared at me.
"Ew. Hyde, that's disgusting." Donna shuddered, looking mad.
"Not for sexual reasons. I want her to write something for me." I smirked slightly, enjoying their reactions.
"Oh." Donna was taken aback. "Are you sure you want me to do it?"
"You're a future awards-winning writer. So yeah. Let's do it."
Eric grimaced and said, "Can you stop saying, 'Do it'. Use 'get her help' or something."
"Donna, you want to go do it now?" I asked her.
"Sure. We can do it in your room." She replied.
"Stop it!" Eric was flabbergasted. Fez laughed and said, "Don't worry Eric. Watching it in secret is also quite nice."
Donna, Eric, and I turned to Fez, looking at him with confusion.
He looked around worriedly and stood up. "I think my host parents want me to go home now. Bye."
He left in a hurry.
…
Inside my bedroom, Eric sat on the chair next to the bed. Donna was sitting on my mattress, and I took the desk chair.
"So, what's the movie about? Do you have a name for it yet?" Donna asked, holding a notebook and pen.
"No name yet." I opened up ChatGPT discreetly to help while we talked.
I explained the concept of the movie to them.
A builder offers to renovate a house for his best friend. Her younger sister, who studies at an art college in Paris, thinks the guy is useless and is scamming her sister.
So during summer break, she comes back to supervise. The guy gets annoyed because she keeps invading his space and pushing her opinions on him.
As they work on the house together, they grow closer and eventually realize they've fallen in love.
"How do they move in that direction?" Donna asked, jotting everything down.
"He could save her from falling off a ladder," I suggested.
It worked in K-dramas. It could work here too.
Donna smiled. "Right. That could be the start. Not falling in love right away, but it forces her to see him differently."
She wrote it down excitedly.
Eric snickered. "It'd be funny if she falls in slow motion."
I stored that idea in the back of my mind.
"The big twist, before the end," I continued, "is that the older sister actually wants to sell the house. No matter what he does, he can't make her stay."
Donna and Eric both paused, exchanging a look.
"What's that look?" I asked.
"Nothing—"
"You're writing this from experience, aren't you?" Eric blurted out.
I froze for a second, realizing how close it was to my own past.
"Well… there's a term in Hollywood. 'Write what you know.' I guess I might've done that," I admitted.
"Wait, that's a real technique?" Donna asked, surprised.
I nodded. "For indie stuff, yeah. It keeps things authentic. Raw."
She quickly jotted that down.
Eric leaned back. "If you're writing from experience, you should include the time Kelso's dog bit your ass."
"Shut it," I said, cutting him off and refocusing.
"So after that, the relationship between the builder and the art student turns colder."
"Why is he punishing her for that?" Donna frowned.
"He's not punishing her," I said. "She's the one who pushed her sister to leave town and see the world."
"That bitch," Eric muttered.
"Eric!" Donna snapped.
"Sorry. But she's a jezebel, and we all know it," he said, throwing his hands up.
Donna let out a small laugh before turning back to me. "Okay… so what's the ending?"
"The older sister sells the house," I said. "But before leaving, the art student comes back one last time. She walks through it… and sees a picture window—"
"What's that?" Eric interrupted.
"A fixed glass window," I explained. "You can't open it. It's just there to frame the view outside."
Donna's eyes widened. "Wait… the painting she made earlier—"
I nodded. "Yeah. The one with the flowers in the backyard. He recreated it. The yard, the layout… everything. Through the window, it looks exactly like her painting."
"Hyde…" Donna's voice softened, her chest rising slightly. "That's actually really romantic."
"Is it?" I asked. Eric shrugged, just as confused as I was.
"Wait—you're not ending it there, are you?" Donna frowned. "Because I'd be pretty mad. And your female audience will be mad too."
I shrugged. "You've got something better?"
"Well… he goes to Paris with her," Donna said.
"He can't just leave his job—" Eric tried to interject.
"There are houses in Paris," Donna cut in quickly. "He can fix them up, sell them, make money… and stay with her while she finishes college."
I nodded and said, "That's fine. We can do that."
Donna leaned back gleefully and wrote everything down.
"Now, for the funny part." Eric smirked. "Give me some details." He urged me.
"There's an outhouse on the property." I said casually.
Eric thought about it and snapped his fingers. "He was trying to shit, but a stray dog came in, grabbed his pants and ran. He has to run after the dog pantless."
"And the girl saw it?" Donna couldn't hold back her laugh.
"That's funnier. Let's do that." Eric smirked.
I snorted too. "Well that is funny."
"Give me more." He urged again.
Donna suggested next, "Maybe there could be a scene. After he caught her off the ladder. She looked at him, sawing some wood, shirtless…"
"Eugh." Eric grimaced.
"For the female audience... That might be a good thing." I chuckled slightly.
Donna went back to her house. She wanted to write the script tonight.
I had no idea when she'd come back with the finished product.
It was 12 in the evening. I had hung out with Eric for hours by then and was going to bed.
Donna suddenly knocked on my bedroom door. I opened it with a frown.
"So, I need more background about the characters. Do they have parents? How did the guy get into construction in the first place?"
I told her the details and she left giddily.
One in the morning. I was already asleep when she knocked on the door again.
I opened it groggily.
"Can I make a scene where they go to dinner together?"
"Donna… Just write whatever you want." I sighed.
"Cool." She left excitedly.
At three in the morning, she knocked on my door again.
"Why god… why?" I rubbed my face with frustration before opening the door angrily.
