Chapter 1 - It Was Still There

In a quiet village where nothing unusual ever happened, two families lived opposite each other.

The first family had a mother, a father, and one son.

The second family had a mother and two children.

Their houses were right opposite each other, but the two families did not get along well. Still, both families lived happily in their own way.

One day, a witch secretly entered the village. However, no one knew about her arrival.

One night, the son from the first family was playing outside when he suddenly saw a scary witch. Terrified, he ran inside the house. He told his mother everything, but she thought he must have been frightened for no reason. She ignored his words.

The next night, the same thing happened again. The boy saw the witch and told his mother. This time, she calmed him down, but she kept thinking about it all night.

"Is something really wrong? Or is someone trying to scare my child?" she wondered.

The next morning, she told her husband everything. Both of them began to suspect that maybe the woman from the house opposite was trying to frighten their son.

In the evening, they made a plan. The boy went outside to play while the mother kept an eye on him. The father went to check the neighbor's house, but the woman was not at home. Their suspicion grew stronger.

To find out the truth, they planned a night party and invited the opposite family. Everyone came, but at first, the woman was not there. After some time, she also arrived. They all started enjoying the party together.

Meanwhile, the children from both families wandered a little far while playing. No one noticed. When they could no longer hear the children's voices, everyone became worried.

They went a little further and saw something shocking — a real witch was holding both children!

This time, both families showed courage together and rescued their children from the witch.

That day, they realized that they should never doubt someone without proof. Their misunderstanding ended, and both families started living happily and peacefully together.
