Chapter 1 - 'Elafiora'

Long ago...

the kingdoms of Elafiora towered over the earth with unmatched might and incomparable magic.

Four great realms; imposed their dominion upon a world teeming with supernatural beings, creatures that humanity feared more than any nightmare.

Yet amid this desolate splendor stood a fifth kingdom… Ictor, the realm of humans.

Despite their frailty before the magic-wielders, they refused to break. They clung to life with their final breaths and unleashed ambitions that stretched beyond the bounds of possibility.

But ambition, when it overflows its vessel, brings nothing but ruin. Thus, human greed became the spark that ignited the fragile balance between the two worlds.

When humans sought to extend their control over Elafiora's lands, a ferocious war erupted, sparing nothing it touched. For long years, death roamed every corner, distinguishing neither sorcerer nor mortal, until victory finally fell to the magic born.

In a majestic and terrible spectacle, the armies of Elafiora swept across human soil. The sorcerers raised an impenetrable magical barrier, severing the two worlds forever. Ictor became isolated, its people gazing upon the barrier as a wall dividing heaven from hell. The magic-wielders, meanwhile, believed eternal peace had at last been born.

But peace was merely an illusion. Victory came at a devastating cost: the death of the High King, the unifying leader who had rallied the four kingdoms under one banner. With his absence, unity unraveled. The realms descended into unrelenting chaos, Shadows devoured by intrigue, Ice teetering on the edge of bloody rebellion, Winds consumed by endless strife, and Nature slowly bleeding under the weight of greed and desire.

The barrier endured, standing as a silent guardian between worlds. In Ictor, humans lived in its shadow, uncertain whether they would ever dare challenge it.

For the sorcerers, their past had become a burden threatening their fractured present.

And the question that lingers like an unseen specter between both sides remains...

Will the barrier one day shatter?

And if it does… which world will be the first to fall?
