He leaned and whispered, "If you like, we can take this to my hotel room."
He looked so sure of himself and I don't blame him, no doubt, with that kind of face and expensive clothes, women must throw themselves at him.
I gave him an annoyed look before grabbing another glass from a passing waiter.
"No thanks, as Mr. Noah's assistant, I shouldn't be engaging with his business partners so casually."
That seemed to do the trick because as soon as his name fell out of my mouth, he backed away, muttering something of an apology.
Damn. I'm in so much trouble. I've not met the man yet but if his business partners are reacting to him this way, I wonder what kind of man he must be.
I signaled another waiter to snag another drink, I might be needing a few more of those before meeting him today tonight.
"Okay, that's enough," My dad said, appearing out of nowhere and pulling the glass out of my hand while I feebly protested.
