Kaori Hana was a normal 21-year-old girl on earth. She was in front of her computer, putting on the finishing touches for her most recent song she was remixing, and recording. She had done the remixing on her stream and now that song was completely done, she only had to mix in the lyrics sang into the song itself.
"Alright, I finished the music composition and everything!" Kaori said, talking to her chat, as she explains what she has in store for the viewers.
"Stop, the complete song is a surprise! I can't show you the complete song, it would ruin the whole thing, and the effort I put into the song! Just know that this song will be released at the end of the week." Kaori said excitedly, saying goodbye to her chat and ending the stream after saying a few more words and talking with the viewers for a bit more.
Kaori Hana was an underground singer, occasional writer, game developer, animator, 3D artist, and even an artist from time to time, with most of her time spent streaming some of these things for her viewers. From Composing music for personal projects, programming streams, art streams, and even streaming painting and wood and stone carving.
She was a niche streamer with a decent 5-digit followers online and half of them being loyal fans, but her songs quite a bit more popular, with a monthly 50,000+ monthly listeners on music platforms, the small games she developed having 300+ players active, even the novels she wrote had a decent 6-digit viewership.
Overall, Kaori Hana was somewhat famous but underground kind of famous and in the community, she was known as the variety art streamer, with a dedicated and loyal fans for her numerous works and herself as a creator.
After ending the stream, she recorded herself singing the song, change some things in her music composition for this song and finally completing everything and saving the finished song and finally having time for herself, but she gave one last listen to the song, before closing all the programs related to music and song composition.
Having finished her song, she stood up from, her computer and moves towards her living room and rests for a moment. Repeatedly listening to her song in the background, to hear how it sounds and make adjustment if needed.
While listening to her song multiple times, Kaori Hana did some chores in her apartment and finally cooking quite a bit food to celebrate completing her newest song for her dinner tonight. Putting the song aside feeling satisfied, she moves back to the living room again with her freshly cooked dinner.
Placing her dinner on the coffee table, while she was sitting down and turning on her smart tv, looking up her favorite streamers. While she herself was a streamer, she was again a niche streamer with just a decent loyal followers and fans.
While watching the stream, she ate while occasionally looking down on her phone and checking the statistic of her most recent novel she had just wrote. This was already the third novel she had released, and this novel was still ongoing and wasn't complete like the others.[1]
'Looks like they really love this novel... Wow, I can feel their love in the "healing" arc I wrote one of my characters.'
Reading through the comments on her novel, and the comments on her latest chapter were all "praising" her, for how she made the side character so tragic. Her novels weren't masterpieces like To Kill A Mockingbird or The Illiad or super famous like those japanese light novel like Re:Zero, Overlord, and Haruhi Suzumiya Series or other famous books in the world. Her works were only popular in her community and outside that had about 1,000 active readers.
After reading through some of the comments in her novel, while watching the stream on her tv, it was already 12:58 PM.
'Ahhh, I'm a bit sleepy...'
After washing the dishes she had just eaten, she walks towards her room while checking her phone for a different matter. She was checking the backend data of the small game she had just developed a month ago, even reading about the reviews about the game.
This was one of type of work that were as famous as her released or published songs or even a bit more famous. Compared to her novels, and digital arts she sometimes releases or published, it was on the lower side.
Entering her bedroom, she dives onto her bed letting out a tired breath. She loved doing creative things like writing and composing songs, programming and developing games, writing novels, drawing and making digital art, animating random 3D or 2D personal projects or of her favorite vtubers, she even does wooden and stone carving from time to time, even painting on an actual canvas.
Despite her love for art in all of its shape, it was still kind of tiring. Especially given how she was only one person, capable of only doing so many things, and there was still a lot of things she wanted to do and learn. Yet, despite all the fatigue or even the tiredness from doing, studying and learning multiple art skills, she still greatly loved it and enjoyed everything about it, even the process of learning it all.
Still, she was so tired. Looking at the time again on her phone it was now 1AM. She really needed to sleep now, as she still had other projects she needs to work on.
Scrolling on her phone for a bit, to slowly get her mind out of work mode. Kaori Hana felt so sleepy she couldn't help but close her eyes here and there, feeling drowsy more and more as she felt her eyelids until she fully closed her eyes and her breathing becoming even and steady.
In her last consciousness after closing her eyes and sleeping, she had one thought before slowly truly falling asleep.
'How nice would it be to be in Honkai: Star Rail, imagine having something similar to Herta's doll... I could... do... so... much...'
Unfortunately, Kaori Hana failed to hear and see what had appeared before her eyes, only breathing evenly and steadily, soundly sleeping on her bed.
"DING!" [ "Strong wish and desire detected... Granting... Binding... Location... Transporting...." ]
Golden ethereal mist slowly came from nowhere and enveloped Kaori Hana's whole body.
