The sun is shining brighter than usual, its temperature is high, the type of heat that can practically burn people to a crisp, but it is usual for it to be like that, considering it's the summer season. And in the middle of the day, under a blazing sun, a caravan is strolling through a dirt road, the skinny and old lone horse that pulled the caravan galloping its way, the rider, an old, fragile man with a friendly and likable face is humming happily.
" Tsk, can you quiet down a bit more, old man, trying to sleep here ".
The annoyed voice was coming from inside the caravan. There, laying down was a hooded man with a dirty dark green cloak, white shirt, black pants and a leather boots, made out of cheap materials. And rested down beside him is a sword in its casing that's made out of poor quality leather.
" Silly me, i'm sorry young man, it looks like i'm waking you up ".
Not even bother to reply the old man, the hooded man then begin to close his eyes trying to sleep once again. But not even a minute after that, the caravan is suddenly stopped.
" Hey! What is it now?! ".
" We've arrived, you said you wanted to go to Eliram right? ".
" We've arrived already? ".
The hooded man then got up and got off of the caravan, he then walked to the front and remove his hood, revealing a young looking man with a fair skin, messy black hair, and a visible eye bag. He wears what seems to be a bronze-made dog tag that has an inscription that says *Richard*
" Thanks for letting me riding along with you old man ".
The old man nodded to Richard, and then he continues on again. Richard then turned his attention to Eliram town's gate. The gate itself is not a fancy gate that can be found on big cities, it's a small wooden gate and wall that surround Eliram. Richard then began to walk to the town, and stopped at the entrance before being questioned by the gate guard.
" What is your purpose in Eliram? ".
" To take a quest, i'm an adventurer ".
He replies, showing his bronze dog tag.
" Alright you can come in, just don't do anything weird inside ".
As he walks through the town Richard notices the poor state of the town, from it's muddy dirt roads, building that looks like it could collapse at any moment, to it's poverty, people begging and sleeping on the streets malnourished and weak. But Richard tries to ignore all of it, thinking it's not his problem to deal with. As he continues walking Richard suddenly stops, he feels that something is lightly pulling his leg.
" Excuse me mister, b..but could you give me something? ".
A small voice softly speaks to him, hearing that voice Richard looks to his back, he sees that a small frail girl is the one whose talking, the little girl is wearing a rugged clothes, and judging by how skinny she is, she seems to be severely hungry and malnourished
" What did you say again? ".
" C..could you kindly give me something sir? Like some food.. o..or maybe some spare change? ".
Richard for a moment seems to be thinking about something, before he looks back to the little girl.
" Sorry kid, but i got nothing myself ".
Then, he walk away from the little girl casually as if nothing had happened. Richard continues on walking for few more minutes before finally stopping in front of a decent size building, which unlike the other buildings this one looks taken care of, and at the top of the building's door is wooden plank that says _Guild_.
As he step inside the Guild, Richard notices the spacious hall of the building, but what makes him surprised was the emptiness of the building. As he takes a look inside the building, he saw woman sitting at what seems to be a reception desk. He then decided to go to the woman, and as he arrives at the woman, she then cheerfully asks him.
" Hi, welcome. What is your purpose coming here today? ".
" I've come here to take a quest regarding the unusual amounts of monsters around this area ".
" Ah, there is currently one available at the moment, it's exterminating a horn wolves dent, but can i first see your tag? ".
Richard takes off his dog tag and gives it to her. And then she began examining it.
" Ah, it seems like you are currently bronze-second rank right?..i'm sorry but this quest is recommended for bronze-first rank and upwards. If you wanted to take this then you should at least one party member that fitted the category ".
" Just give it to me, there aren't any people who's gonna take it anyway ".
" Im sorry, but for safety reasons you couldn't take it ... ".
They started bickering at each other. As they keep going on, there aren't any signs that they would end soon. But after a long time suddenly someone stepped in.
" I'll take the quest and be his partner ".
A voice suddenly interrupted Richard and the receptionist, surprised by that Richard turns, and what is in front of him is a tall, pale skin,elf with bright blonde hair along with a pair of pointy ears.
