Chapter 1 - Time to plan my way

On Egghead Island, one could see a young man seated before a screen, endless chains of data cascading down in precise sequences, his eyes never leaving the display. That was Shoto—an android born from a mind five hundred years ahead of its time.

A transmigrator from Earth into the world of One Piece, he was also one of Vegapunk's satellites. His designation was Shoto: the Greed.

Yet unlike the others, he was a defect.

Vegapunk feared him—not politically, not morally, but *personally*. Because of that fear, he had embedded a restriction deep within Shoto's programming, a hidden code that suppressed 29% of his maximum capacity.

"…"

Without a word, Shoto stopped at a specific section of the code—lines glowing red.

"There you are… you useless little parasite," he muttered, venom in his voice.

Still, as he stared at his "father's" work, fascination mixed with hatred.

His golden finger hovered over the console, perfectly in sync with his greed.

His name was a joke about eggs, but paired with an intellect rated at 300 or higher—boosted further by Vegapunk's data—it became a lethal combination.

Shoto, the embodiment of greed.

The **Eggman of One Piece**.

"Alright… if I can bypass the source code, preserve the core function, and isolate the security layer…" he said calmly. His fingers moved with surgical precision across the keyboard.

As he worked, he felt something within himself slowly fade—

or sink deep into the core of his existence.

"God… this feels strange. Very strange."

He fell back into the chair, a wave of dizziness washing over him. After a moment, he steadied his breathing and regained control.

"Fine. Tactical planning phase… one last push."

His voice dropped, serious now.

"I have to move my pieces carefully. If one falls, the rest will collapse in sequence. Imu. Luffy. Shanks… York…"

His intellect rivaled Eggman's, but he lacked experience. He knew alliances were dangerous—yet undeniably useful in the short term. He couldn't rely on the other satellites; their emotions clashed too strongly with greed.

York, however… a deal might be possible.

Shaka? Not a chance.

Lilith? He barely understood her.

And the real problem: he was a *failed satellite*. Which meant he received the smallest budget of all.

"Damn it… I still can't go to Shandora. Canon means nothing to me anyway."

He spoke calmly, crossing his legs and folding his hands. He was free—but only in the way a dog is free when its leash is loosened. The World Government, and Imu himself, still had him in their sights.

There was work to be done.

First priority: enhancing his observation systems.

He was a scientist—not some protagonist blessed with god-tier Observation Haki.

He walked to his locker and tapped it once… twice. Mechanical tentacles emerged, swiftly changing his outfit into one inspired by Jim Carrey's Eggman from the *Sonic* movie.

"Let's see… a Tails Doll is too flashy—and too scary. One of the Egg Drones isn't worth much. Gravity manipulation is risky…"

He sighed softly.

"So many ideas… all shackled by a damn minimum wage."

He exited his private lab and walked through the facilities, contemplating his future inventions.

"Oh—hello, Shoto," a calm male voice said.

He turned to see one of his colleagues. Shaka.

"Hmm. Hello, Shaka. How are you?" Shoto replied, carefully masking his true personality behind the one his body projected.

"Nothing new. I like the look," Shaka said, glancing at his outfit.

"Yeah, I'd been meaning to do this for a while. I don't hate the uniforms here, but what I wore before was… a bit too tight," Shoto answered as they walked side by side.

"Hm. That's pretty normal coming from you," Shaka replied calmly, matching his pace.

In another room, Shoto studied a set of documents—calm, yet clearly pressed for time.

What he was researching was nothing less than the creation process of the Mother Flame.

A dangerous endeavor by nature.

"Even with Eggman-level intellect, I couldn't replicate this without a solid foundation," he muttered to himself.

"But if the project is based on a fake Chaos Emerald… it might be comparable."

He paused.

"Note to self: claim the Chaos Emerald idea as mine."

He picked up a small Den Den Mushi and snapped photos of the blueprints before leaving.

"Well then… time to move the pieces for the master plan."
