Chapter 3 - A New World

"Caleb"

"Caleb, are you okay ?"

Zorat was pulled out of his unconscious state by a tiny, squeaky voice that was barely registering beyond a whisper. He felt someone was, in fact, on top of him.

He was a little disoriented, but was certain his soul was now housed in a physical form. Meaning, he was currently in a body, and as luck would have it, it seems to be that of a human's; as he could make out from the cascading bits of memories sifting through his mind.

Guess the summoning worked.

The second thing he took note of was the soft scent of vanilla assaulting his newfound sense of smell. It was sweet and comforting, and was emanating from the warmth that was pressed right on top of him.

Zorat soon tried prying his eyes open with slight difficulty. It's taking a minute for his soul to properly adjust to this new body, but this wasn't his first rodeo.

From the little slit in his eyes, he caught the visage of a young human woman with glasses, gazing down at him with worry.

She had an oval-shaped face, with her curly black hair sprawled across Zorat's chest. Her mesmerizing ocean blue eyes were darting around frantically, trying to wake him up.

Zorat had some experience with humans in the past, and this female should be high on the list when it came to appearances, with a simple brown knit cardigan, a short blue lapel skirt, and an ocean pearl necklace around her small neck.

She was so close to Zorat's face that her breasts were slightly pressing against his chest, and her ragged breath brushed against his face.

Zorat soon realised he was flat on his back, and this lady was sitting with her legs spread on his pelvis. For a beauty with such a lightly framed torso, boasting moderate proportions, her thighs were unusually girthy, and he could feel the warmth emanating from below.

Not sure the damsel in distress realised the kind of compromising position she was seated in, but Zorat wasn't complaining.

Hehehe.

He again closed his eyes to continue relishing the sensation, as he tried to figure out the memories of this body, and who this person on top of him actually was.

Caleb Stone. That's the name of this body. An undergraduate student of tourism. He was a chronic recluse and barely conversed with anyone. And this young lady's name is Ava.

They had interaced a few times in passing during classes, and that was it. They weren't all that close. At least the former Caleb didn't think so. But now she was looking down at him with such concern; one would think they were lovers.

Their professor had randomly grouped the class into groups of ten for a project, a group that coincidentally included Ava, Caleb, and a bunch of other popular students.

They decided to meet at a cafe to discuss what they would do for the project, and just after a minute of sitting down, a summoning circle had ignited below their table, and that was where the memories ended.

Interesting. A summoning. And I just so happen to take over this person's body during the move.

Must have been the impact that knocked me out.

So, where is the original Caleb ?.

Zorat tried to sense the existence of any other soul inside the body he was currently occupying, but he couldn't detect anything. From his rich experience, even if a soul is destroyed, there should have been remnants for him to sense.

Anyways. There were some unintended results. But I still made it.

Fuck you, Lumrheal.

I guess I can say your name now since I'm no longer in your dimension hehehe.

Now I have to quickly get that done. There are lots of things to enjoy.

And this human female will be a delightful start.

Quickly wiping the evil smirk off his face, one he hoped Ava didn't notice, he leaned up gently, and with the position Ava was seated in, she was now directly over his crotch, with her soft, warm thighs on both sides, her breasts pressed against his chest, and her face suddenly glued to his.

Ava was taken by surprise at the abrupt move, and her cheeks turned crimson at how risque they were currently positioned. But no one was paying attention to them. All the other classmates were acting frantically, scared and confused by their sudden move. She turned her face to the side as she whispered with relief mixed with apprehension.

"C…Caleb. You are alright, thank god"

"I think something happened to all of us," she mumbled as she looked around the unfamiliar place they were currently in.

"I am aware, Ava. Let's see what's going on." Zorat spoke in a calm voice.

He was also curious, so he grabbed her by the waist and helped her off him. He also slowly stood up to take stock of his surroundings and this new world they had been summoned to. His new playground.

Zorat and all nine other classmates were standing in the center of a vast throne room, with arched vaulted high ceilings, mosaic floors of pearl and marble, prismatic crystal windows that scattered natural golden sunlight through the grand space, and magically suspended, crystal chandeliers illuminating banners of crimson gold.

Directly in front of Zorat and the classmates was a blue crystal orb on a podium made of carved marble. On both sides of the grand throne room were ministers of the royal court, leisurely conversing and gesturing at the assembled students like animals in a zoo on display.

At the far end stood a grand obsidian platform, where a radiant throne rested upon a carved dais. Enthroned in it is a king who looked to be in his fifties, wearing a flamboyant royal robe and a golden crown adorning his long, grey hair.

He had a strong jawline with a grey moustache that connected into a goatee, and brown dulled eyes that gazed straight at the assembled students with measured hopefulness.

On his left stood a beautiful young lady with purple hair and deep brown eyes like the King's. Donning a modest purple royal gown with gold trimmings. Though it does little to hide her prominent curves underneath.

This lady, whom Zorat had deduced to be the princess, radiated confidence and uncanny intelligence as she scanned the assembled students.

Another beautiful human woman. And a princess, from the looks of it. Oh Zorat. You lucky duck.

Zorat's face was already contorting into an evil grin. It seemed an evil grin was his default restful face. He had to learn to control it, because he didn't want to start acting too out of character. Though these students don't have much interaction with the former Caleb, he could still remember a few they have had. And they would for sure notice such obvious changes. That would ruin the fun.

Zorat composed himself, hiding the crimson glint of mischief in his eyes, and panned his gaze to the left, where a middle-aged man stood with his hands behind his back. He had black hair that was neatly tied, with greyish silver sideburns framing his rectangular face.

What stood out to Zorat was the fact that this man had just a single mustache. Yes. One long silver moustache on the right side of his upper lip, while the left side was shaved clean.

Not only that, the man had robes almost as flamboyant as the king's, with black eyes that gazed down at the gathered students, like a god looking down at mere ants.

Why's he posturing like a peacock?

Zorat grinned. Usually, he iked arrogant brats. When he was just an infernal prince, he enjoyed bestowing his blessings on such people. But when that arrogance is directed at him, the first thought that comes to mind is to snuff their lights out.

However, he could tell these people were strong. Ever since he arrived in this place, he could feel considerable power emanating from the people here, most especially the king and the one moustached man by his side.

Such strength was formerly far below Zorat's notice. But now in a mortal coil, he was no stronger than all the other gathered students. Though he had his means, that still does not constitute physical prowess. He wouldn't be getting into an altercation any time soon, unless he absolutely needs to.

"I demand an explanation right this instant!"

"How dare you kidnap one as handsome as I!" One of the students barked defiantly, pointing his right index finger at the king.

Who was this guy again?
