Chapter 4 - Celeberation

She nodded. "Alright. Then how about we also celebrate it tonight?" she said with a playful wink.

Leon smiled and nodded. "Okay, but I'm not dropping you back when you get wasted," he said.

"Boo! Then why am I even taking you along with me?" she pouted angrily.

In the end, he agreed to go with her, and she smiled and waved goodbye.

"Just call me when you're going to the dungeon," she said, hopping into her car and driving away.

Leon waved goodbye and called a taxi as he began heading home as well.

I wonder what their reaction will be when they learn about my class—and more importantly, my Talent, he thought with a smile.

Unlike his previous life here he have a family. A big one with his parents and a cute little sister.

And not to mention his grandparents who loves to spil him and his sister very much.

At first when he opened his eyes in this world he was flustered by the sudden affection but eventaully accepted them, especially after when this life memories also awakened making him fell as if he lived an entirely different life in few seconds.

'I still feel somewhat weird about it' Leon thought as he closed his eyes leaning back on seat.

Soon, Leon reached home. And the moment he opened the door—

Pop!

Colorful party poppers burst, drowning him in sparkles.

"Congratulations, Leon!" Along with the shower and popping sound of poppers came his family's congratulation.

Leon looked startled as he saw his parents, grandparents, and even his little sister near the door, each holding party poppers as they welcomed him.

"Thank you, everyone," Leon said, feeling shy but very happy.

"Of course, it's your Awakening Day. It's something to celebrate," his grandpa said with a smile. Then he took Leon's hand and added, "Now it's time for the next surprise," pulling him inside.

Leon was brought to his room, which was fully decorated with balloons and ribbons. A big cake sat on the table along with many dishes.

"Your mom and grandma worked hard since morning to make all this," his father said as Leon nodded.

"I can tell just by the familiar smell," Leon said, biting his lips as he felt a lump in his throat. He felt like crying, and his eyes became teary from the emotions he was feeling right now.

"Oh, come on. Why are you crying? It's time to be happy," his mom said gently.

"I know… I'm just happy," he replied.

I never had something like this before, he said inwardly.

Leon nodded and said, "Okay then, let's eat. I'm hungry."

Everyone nodded, and they first cut the big cake. Some people ate their slices while others playfully smeared a bit of cream on each other's faces.

The atmosphere quickly turned festive. They laughed, danced a little, and enjoyed the celebration. After eating for a while, they all sat down again.

"So, Leon, what class did you awaken?" his mom asked.

Leon looked at her. She is a beautiful woman with green eyes and black hair.

His dad, on the other hand, looked like the main character of a movie—handsome with white hair and blue eyes. It was because of his class, Angelic Knight, which was an S-rank class, while his mom was a Nature Mage of A grade.

His grandparents were also powerful, both having A-rank Fire Mage and Water Mage classes.

"I awakened an F-rank Mage," Leon said.

For a moment, it felt like everyone in the room thought they had heard him wrong.

Only Angelica, his little sister, continued eating her cake without a care in the world. She was only six after all.

"D-did you say F-rank Mage?" his mom asked again, her face stiff.

"Yes… but I also got an S-rank Talent, so it's still manageable, I guess," Leon said.

Finally, everyone let out the breath they had been holding without realizing it.

"Ahh, it's one of those cases where someone awakens a powerful Talent but a low-rank class," James, his grandpa, said as Leon nodded.

"It's okay, Leon. With the power of his Talent, he can easily raise his class ranking in the Trial," Ryder, his father, said, and Linda, his mom, nodded in agreement.

"What is your Talent?" asked Amanda, his grandma.

"It's a necromancy-based Talent," Leon said. He had already used his Infinite Gacha in class while waiting for the others to return, and what he got was Death Roulette.

At that time, he was stunned. What were the chances of him getting a gacha-type Talent under a gacha-type ability?

[Death Roulette]

Provides perfect Death Affinity.

After killing any being, you can turn it into an undead. There is no limit to the number of undead under your control. As long as you have mana, you can maintain any number of undead.

Death Roulette:

When you use an undead, you can activate Death Roulette to create a powerful undead, much stronger than the corpse it was made from. Creating an undead through this ability does not consume any mana.

This ability can only be used once every ten levels.

It was a powerful Talent, especially the last ability, Death Roulette. Leon had seen the possible results—ranging from the lowest skeleton minion to Skeleton Overlords, Death Knights, and even Doom Knights.

It was like giving a Level 1 Necromancer a Level 500 underling—that's how powerful it could be if the goddess of luck looked at him favorably.

"A necromancy type?" his grandpa asked. Then he said, "You got a Mage class but a necromancy Talent… well, necromancers are mages too."

"I'll be going to test out my skills with Mary this evening so we can see how powerful it is. But from what I can tell so far, it's very powerful," Leon said.

They all nodded.

"I'm glad," his father said. "As long as you focus on your skills first. Only challenge the Tower after that."

Leon nodded.

" I know the importance of it" he said as they nodded.
