The place felt like the sky. The ground was clouds and the stairs led to nowhere, whether going up or going down. A boy was lying on the stairs. He woke up not understanding anything.
"Where... am I..?"
The boy blinked and then slowly stood up. He was in a place with nothing but a stair that was four feet wide with no railings.
The boy went to the edge and saw nothing but clouds. The stairs were just white. He looked at his clothes. He was wearing normal clothes.
But he saw he had no slippers or shoes. The stairs felt cold.
I looked up at the stairs. It led to nowhere. I then looked below the stairs. It was still leading to nowhere.
"Is this... Heaven..?"
"Did I die..?"
He went to climb the stairs.
Ten minutes passed by, but he still didn't see any sign of changes. He suddenly felt thirsty after nonstop climbing. He stopped and just sat on the stair. Then, in front of him on the step below, was a simple bottle with water inside.
