"So he tried to break into your house?" The police officer asked.
"Yes!" The cop wrote down each and every detail she spoke.
"Don't worry! Stay safe, If you ever feel dangerous, press the emergency buttons." The man reassured her.
Manmayi nodded.
"I was not trying to break into her house! I'm telling you again! I have a reputation!" Manmayi heard the creep yell his heart out.
"Yeah! Get in the car, we know!" The cop yelled back shoving him into the car.
The amount of relief Manmayi experienced after all those were complicated.
She felt safe.
But still she was afraid.
What if this happens again?
"This is so scary!" She mouthed herself.

YongEul sat there in the cell frowning.
No one was taking him seriously.
How can he convince them that he was never there to break in?
Well, there he was frowning like a child.
The cops eyed him from time to time.
YongEul's eyes widened as he saw Mr. Choi walking in through the door.
"What took you so long?!" He screamed.
All the cops diverted their eyes to what broke the silence.
"You're not supposed to raise your voice here, it's a police station!" The chief scoffed.
Making YongEul roll his eyes back.
"Umm I am here to bail him out" Mr. Choi spoke to the men.
"Here's all the documents" Mr. Choi gave YongEul a glare.
"Do you have an advisor?" The fellow cop asked.
"Yeah he is on his way" Mr. Choi answered sincerely.
"Can I talk to him?" Mr. Choi requested.
The chief thought for a second.
"Make it fast" he blurted.
Mr. Choi took brave steps towards the cell YongEul was in.
"Why the fuck would you break into her house?!" Mr. Choi whisper-yelled.
YongEul felt a bit of embarrassment.
"I wasn't trying to" he defended himself.
"Then why are you here?"
"She's just too weird"
Both bickered relentlessly.
"I mean her audacity! I was just trying to talk to her"
"By banging at her door?"
"Yeah she didn't have a door bell"
"She did"
YongEul was speechless.
His ability of speech left him.
"Idiot! I am not on your side today" YongEul looked down in defense.
"And for your information, your grandfather is very annoyed."
Mr. Choi tried to make it not a threat, well after all it can be considered breaking into a house.
But well, the past is in the past.
As YongEul heard the words from Mr. Choi's mouth, his eyes shot up.
He felt a tint of fear in his mind.
Even though his grandfather raised him with love and care, he was still a strict old grumpy man.
"He knows?" YongEul whispered, thinking about a story he can possibly provide his grandfather with.
"Luckily the media doesn't" Mr. Choi spoke for the last time before walking towards the cops.

On call
"He sounds so scary!" Dhara spoke.
Dhara, 21, crazy as fuck, into boybands and hook ups. You get to live once so have the most fun you can, that's her motto.
Even though Manmayi's family finds Dhara to be a little weird, Manmayi finds happiness with her.
A dynamic duo.
"Yeah, he kept banging at my door." Manmayi sighed thinking about the moments.
"Well was he hot?" Dhara suddenly questioned making Manmayi widen her eyes.
She was taken aback by that question even though she was expecting a weird ass question from the other side.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! A couple of minutes, I was in a state between death and life and you're asking me if he was hot!! This isn't no book romance so get a grip!?"
Manmayi screamed her heart out.
Well if it was a normal person, listening to her screams would offend them but it was Dhara.
Dhara chuckled a little at her screams understanding how horrible those moments were for her.
"I was just trying to make you feel good, girl!"
"Well it didn't."
Manmayi sighed and looked outside the window which she was leaning on.
"If it was me, I would have checked him out first and if he fits my standards, I would probably invite him in and maybe even hook up."
She would.
Probably.
Dhara spoke proudly.
Manmayi could imagine the shoulder moments Dhara does when she's proud.
"Wow!" Manmayi spoke impressed.
"Wait! Did you call your Amma?!"
Dhara enquired.
"FOR WHAT!? TO MAKE ME COME BACK? NO WAY!!"
Manmayi made her heart to not call anyone from her family.
"Be safe girl! Shi-"
"What?"
Manmayi heard her curse under her breath.
"Babe, I got to go, my Amma is awake and she already has doubts about my relationships, and if she finds me talking to someone at midnight, then I'm dead meat."
Manmayi chuckled as she heard her best friend whispered.
"You never change girl!"
Manmayi spoke for the last time, before hanging up.
She was again alone with her wind chimes and her thoughts.
She remembered all the things this day bought her.
Her thoughts carried her far, as she glanced at the distant lights that gleamed.
She sighed.
A thought provoking moment.
She answered her past and questioned her future.
