Chapter 97 - Otherworlders
Lenitia squealed at Sylveria's ghostly appearance. This was her first personal interaction with the woman.
"Shhh," Sylveria hushed.
Lenitia fell to her butt while her face was ashen. She moved away from me and examined the war board.
The southern front was tense, but no battle had yet occurred. Both sides were still preparing. The western battles, however, favored Invidia thanks to Paul Xess's maneuver speed and heavy cavalry. Louis Zen was a monster on his own, cutting down every black knight, bishop, and pawn in his path. Together, they caught up with Zoli Diripio's main forces in a single turn.
Victory was at hand. The questionable battle lied at Frogine Fortress.
Sylveria pointed at the black dragon pieces.
"From your perspective, can we counter the troll knights if they cut off the north and south and prevent us from blocking the river or asking for reinforcement?"
I shook my head.
