Chapter 2 - chapter 3— The First Drink

Chapter 3 – The First Drink

Li Wei sat across from the woman in red.

The private room was quiet. Soft music drifted through the air, and golden light reflected off the crystal glasses on the table, giving the space a calm yet luxurious atmosphere.

The woman looked at him calmly.

"What's your name?"

"Li Wei," he replied politely. Then he asked, "Miss, may I know your name?"

She answered in a smooth voice, "Mo Qing. You can call me Miss Mo."

She picked up the bottle and poured wine into two glasses.

"Shall we begin?"

"You look young," she said casually. "Do you drink often?"

Li Wei shook his head. "Not really."

In the past, he had attended parties with rich second-generation friends and company events held by his father. He had drunk alcohol before… but that was all in the past. Since his family fell into debt, he hadn't touched alcohol in a long time.

Mo Qing lifted her glass.

"Then let's begin."

Clink.

The glasses touched.

Li Wei drank.

The strong alcohol burned his throat, but strangely, it didn't feel too uncomfortable. After the burning sensation, a warm current slowly spread through his body.

Mo Qing watched him with slight surprise.

Most people would cough or show discomfort.

Li Wei didn't.

Interesting, she thought.

She poured another round.

As they drank, she began chatting with him casually. The conversation flowed lightly while the glasses kept emptying.

One glass.

Five glasses.

Ten glasses.

Time passed, and the table slowly filled with empty bottles.

Mo Qing's cheeks grew slightly red, but her eyes remained sharp. She naturally had a strong alcohol tolerance.

On the other side, Li Wei was in a similar state. His face was warm, and his mind was also dizzy

The Heavenly Yang Physique was still merging with his body, slowly strengthening him. Although it wasn't meant for alcohol, it enhanced his overall physical condition.

If not for the physique…

He would have collapsed long ago.

Li Wei was also surprised by Mo Qing's tolerance.

Just then—

Ding.

A mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

[Mission Progress: 50%]

Li Wei's grip on the glass tightened slightly.

The system… was real.

And tonight was only the beginning.
