"Do you believe that there is a force beyond our control that pulls people together?" Matteo continued.
'If there is something that pushed me away from changing my fate, then something else pulling people towards their fate is only natural' Matteo thought to himself
"Who are you," Fushiguro asked putting himself in a fighting stance.
"Matteo Unmei," he answered, "You've come for Sukuna's Finger," Matteo said pointing at Fushiguro.
"I can't answer that question," Fushiguro told Matteo while making eye contact.
"It wasn't a question, it was a stament," Matteo responded.
'A curse user?' Fushiguro thought, 'I'll have to find a way to drag him out of this school's field' he thought.
"Now, two paths lie in front of you," Matteo said, "Second floor, third door on the left of the west side stairs," Matteo told Fushiguro.
"What?" Fushiguro muttered.
"That is the room of the Occult Research Club," Matteo explained, "They had been interested in unsealing Sukuna's Finger," he said.
"Do you know what this means!" Fushiguro exclaimed, "We need to stop them before-"
"Or," Matteo interrupted, "Itadori may have it," he continued.
"Ita-dori?" Fushiguro asked.
"Yuji Itadori," Matteo clarified, "Pink hair, the one about to chuck the iron ball, he may have it," he said while pointing over where Itadori was.
"Well!" Fushiguro asked, "Whitch one, has it?" he asked annoyed.
"If I told you it would mess up my whole experiment," Matteo explained.
"You're running an experiment?" Fushiguro asked.
"Yes, to see if there is a certain gravity between people you are fated to meet, now choose!" Matteo hurried, "The club may be opening the finger soon, and if you don't go to Itadori now he'll run away!" he said.
'Whitch one?' Fushiguro thought, 'I don't sense any remints of Sukuna's Finger on him, why is he doing this?'
Fushiguro was stuck in place, looking behind himself at the school, looking to his left to Itadori, then looking back in front of him at Matteo.
As he stood there lost in thought, Itadori finished his competition with the teacher, he won handily.
Itadori then began to pack up his bags and run.
"See you later Itadori!" Matteo waved.
"See you tomorrow Matteo!" Itadori waved in return while running away.
'Crap!' Fushiguro thought, 'One of the options is leaving!'
Has Itadori began to run away, Fushiguro felt something. It was like the King of Curses himself was right there.
Without a second thought, Fushiguro ran off from Matteo and began to chase Itadori.
"Was it the feeling of Sukuna that caused you to chase him, was it gravity that moved your legs, or was it something else?" Matteo asked himself as he watched Fushiguro chase Itadori.

Iguchi and Sasaki sat in front of each other at a small table in the dark. Between them sat a candle that only illuminated their faces and their hands.
The rest of the lights in the school were off, leaving the candle as their only means of sight.
There was one more thing on the table, it was a cylindrical object that was wrapped in a long strip of paper that had several symbols written on it.
Sasaki began to pick at the paper that sealed the object as Iguchi watched.
"No," Matteo said grabbing the sealed object out of Sasaki's hand.
"Hey! What are you doing!" Sasaki asked getting up.
"Believe it or not, this is one of the most dangerous items in the world," Matteo said holding up the sealed object.
'Holy shit I actually stopped the finger from being unsealed!' Matteo cursed to himself.
"That's a cool trick but unwrapping the object is supposed to be a club effort," Iguchi told Matteo.
"Trick?" Matteo wondered.
"Yeah, the unwrapping," Sasaki said pointing at the object in Matteo's hand.
Wide eyed, Matteo looked over at the sealed objected in his hand, it was slow unwrapping despite no one and nothing unwrapping it.
"What!" Matteo exclaimed grabbing the strand as paper as it unraveled.
Matteo attempted to pull back on the strand, but the unwinding paper was like cut strips of metal. No matter how hard Matteo pulled on the string, it wouldn't stop unraveling.
"Run!" Matteo yelled to the other two club students.
"Matteo this might be going too-"
"Run or you'll die!" Matteo yelled louder.
Before anything else could be said, a sense of dread laid itself down like a weighted blanket on top of the club members.
'Plan A failed, it's time to move to plan b, it's time' Matteo thought while taking a deep breath in.
He then picked up his right leg, he put it in front of his left leg, before bolting out of the door as fast as possible.
'If I lose track of the finger a curse might eat it, I have to get out of here!' Matteo thought as he ran down the halls.

"Two, three, five seven," Matteo recounted.
'This was supposed to be easy!' he thought, 'Just leave this school, get the finger out of here and live a happy life'
"Eleven, thirteen, seventeen, nineteen," he continued.
'But this school has become a maze, and the curses know my location so I can't stop moving' Matteo complained mentally.
"Twenty-three, twenty-nine, thirty-one, thirty-seven," he mumbled.
'I'm close to eating this finger and hopping it takes us both out' Matteo thought while looking at the fully unwrapped finger in his hand.
A curse begins to groan behind Matteo.
As Matteo gets ready to keep running, he hears something. It was like two dogs were barking.
Turning back around, Matteo saw the curse ripped apart by two dogs.
"Good boys," Matteo said to the black and white dog.
"You! Do you have the finger?" Fushiguro asked Matteo as he ran up to him.
"Yes I do," Matteo said holding up Sukuna's Finger, "But tell me did Sasaki and Iguchi make it out?" he asked.
"Who?" Fushiguro asked.
"A boy and a girl, neither of which are Itadori," Matteo explained.
"I believe I saw them run out and talk to Itadori," Fushiguro told Matteo.
"Seems that I have taken their fate," Matteo said.
"And what fate do they have?" Fushiguro asked.
"Getting kidnapped by a curse," Matteo muttered.
"What?" Fushiguro asked not hearing what Matteo said.
Before either Matteo or Fushiguro could do anything, a curse grabbed Matteo and pulled him into itself.
"This, this is what I was trying to avoid!" Matteo yelled out as he tried to shake free from the curses grasp.
Then Itadori, who was previously outside talking to the other two club members, jumped to the second floor and dropkicked the curse. Freeing Matteo in the process.
"So this is a curse?" Itadori asked, "Not what I was expecting," he said.
Matteo began to get up, checking his hand he saw that the finger was gone.
"I should be asking what you're doing here, but good job," Fushiguro said.
"The finger," Matteo tiredly spat out trying to get up.
"This thing?" Itadori asked holding up the finger.
"Special grade curse object, Ryomen Sukuna's Finger," Fushiguro explained, "It's a miracle that thing didn't swallow it.
'Damn it, I can't stop what's happening, he's coming' Matteo thought.
Matteo was struggling to get up off the ground, the curse had done quite a number on him.
"Why would anyone eat this? Is it good?" Itadori asked.
'Get up!' Matteo thought, 'Fate will stop those two from dying but you're not so lucky, so move it!'
"Don't be dense, you'd eat it to gain stronger cursed energy, now hand it over," Fushiguro told Itadori.
"There's another curse," Matteo wheezed out.
"Hmm? Matteo?" Itadori wondered turning to Matteo.
Above Itadori, a curse manifested attempting to grab him.
Seeing this, Fushiguro pushed Itadori backwards.
"Run!" he yelled out as the curse slammed onto the ground.
The curse, seeing that the finger was no longer near itself, then attacked the closest thing, that being Fushiguro.
Watching Fushiguro get blown back, Itadori chased after the curse. Leaving Matteo behind.
"Have to stop," Matteo said while starting to get up, "Itadori from eating that stupid finger!" he said while standing up.
As fast as he could, which wasn't very fast considering his condition, Matteo rushed to where Fushiguro and Itadori were.
And as he did, he saw Itadori up in the air being held up by the curse.
"Itadori! Don't you dare!" Matteo yelled out.
Itadori however, wasn't listening.
"There's a way I could save everyone! I just need to have my own cursed energy don't I?" Itadori yelled out as the finger flew in the air above him.
The finger fell into straight through his mouth and into his gullet.
Seeing this, Matteo fell back onto the floor.
"Shit," he said as Itadori easily broke out of the curses grip.
Well, it was Itadori's body at least.

Matteo Check Up.
I wonder, Sukuna's not supposed to kill anyone, but does that include me? There was a Matteo before someone else came into his body, and he probably survived, so is Sukuna able to kill me if I'm fated to live?
Can anything kill me if I'm fated to live a normal life?
