Chapter 55 - Chapter 31: The love returns

**Tokyo Tower – The Night the Sky Burned**

The wind howled like a wounded beast around the shattered observation deck of Tokyo Tower. Twisted metal groaned and bent under the strain, shards of glass glittering like fallen stars across the broken floor. Far below, the city of Tokyo stretched out in a breathtaking sea of neon — pinks, blues, purples, and golds pulsing like a living heartbeat — completely unaware of the nightmare unfolding high above it.

Yuki stood alone on the crumbling edge, her beautiful pink kimono torn and fluttering violently in the gale. Her hair whipped across her tear-streaked face. The wound from the holy sword had been cauterized earlier, but her body still trembled from exhaustion, pain, and the overwhelming fear of what was coming.

Honokage held her tightly by the waist, his strong arm wrapped around her like an unbreakable shield of shadow and lightning. Black sparks danced protectively around them both. After weeks of painful silence and self-imposed exile in the Bermuda Triangle, he was finally here — real, solid, warm, and filled with deep regret.

On the ground far below, monstrous hands erupted from the cracked earth like nightmares clawing their way into reality. Grotesque creatures with five glowing eyes, ten powerful arms, and six leathery wings climbed the tower's steel pillars with savage hunger, their roars shaking the entire structure to its core.

Honokage's voice broke slightly as he turned his face away, guilt heavy in every word.

"I am sorry, Yuki… I have quitted you on that time…"

Yuki didn't let him finish.

She grabbed both of his hands with surprising strength, forcing herself forward despite the pain, and hugged him tightly — burying her face in his chest. Her shoulders shook as fresh tears soaked into his dark coat.

"It's okay…" she whispered, voice cracking with raw, aching emotion. "I forgive you… Forget about the past… Please don't go again. I can't lose you twice. I waited so long… I missed you so much…"

Honokage froze completely. His body stiffened, then slowly, painfully softened. Guilt and love warred across his usually stoic face as he gently wrapped both arms around her, holding her like she was the only fragile thing left in his broken world.

Inside his mind, the weight of his actions pressed down harder than any curse he had ever carried.

*I didn't meet her for so many days… I didn't even come to see her once. I misbehaved, I yelled at her, I quit her in the worst way possible… And still she forgives me. After everything I put her through… she still forgives me. How can someone's heart be this kind?*

Yuki slowly lifted her head from his chest. Both her crimson (sealed) and golden (unsealed) eyes glowed softly in the darkness, tears sparkling like tiny stars on her lashes. A small, trembling but genuine smile broke through the pain and exhaustion.

"Let's defeat the monsters together?"

Honokage nodded, his voice low and steady once more, filled with quiet determination.

"Yes."

Yuki glanced down at the broken floor beneath them, worry flashing across her face.

"But my eye cover dropped on the ground… Will I be okay without it?"

Honokage gently placed his hand on top of her head, his touch surprisingly tender and protective.

"Yes… You will be."

A massive, brilliant light erupted from them both — pure white intertwined with black lightning in a breathtaking spiral that lit up the night sky for miles around.

When the smoke and sparks finally cleared, Honokage's aura had risen tenfold — deep crimson flames mixed with violent black lightning, terrifying yet majestic, like a storm given form.

Yuki blinked, testing her body with quiet wonder.

"I am feeling too light now… No more heaviness. What have you done?"

Honokage folded his arms, a small, protective smile softening his features.

"I have taken all the cursed powers from you… And now you remain with only your raw strength."

Suddenly, a monstrous creature climbed up the broken edge, roaring with hunger.

Honokage raised one hand. The creature was sliced cleanly in two and exploded into black mist before it could even scream.

"We don't have time… The monsters are spreading everywhere."

Yuki nodded, determination replacing the fear in her eyes.

"You are right."

Honokage smiled — a rare, genuine smile that made his usually cold face look almost gentle.

"So… let's fight together?"

Yuki returned the smile, tears still drying on her cheeks, voice full of quiet strength.

"Sure."

Honokage jumped off the tower without hesitation, carrying Yuki securely in his arms. Their hair fluttered together in perfect sync as they fell through the cold night air like two shadows bound by fate.

They hit the ground with a powerful shockwave that cracked the pavement for dozens of meters in every direction.

Dozens more monsters rose from the broken earth, spitting corrosive black blood that melted concrete and steel on contact.

Honokage blinked once — and every single drop of blood was reflected away by a crackling wall of black lightning.

Yuki dashed behind the nearest monster and drove her fist into its back with raw, unfiltered strength. The creature exploded into black mist.

Honokage raised his hand upward. A cursed shotgun and a massive scythe materialized in his grip. He threw the shotgun toward Yuki.

She caught it perfectly, the weight familiar and comforting in her hands.

The monsters watched them in confused, furious rage.

Honokage's eyes sharpened like blades. He hurled the scythe like a deadly boomerang. It swung in a wide, graceful arc, slicing through monster after monster in one fluid row before returning smoothly to his hand.

Some monsters roared and scratched wildly at the air.

Yuki fired the shotgun — each blast exploding them into nothingness, black blood evaporating before it could touch the ground.

Another monster erupted from the ground and grabbed Yuki's leg with a clawed hand.

Honokage exhaled calmly. Small black spikes erupted around the creature and crushed it into dust instantly.

Suddenly, a heavy, mocking laugh echoed from the deepest shadows.

Honokage stopped moving. He stepped protectively in front of Yuki, body tense.

"Who are you?"

Both their weapons vanished as the figure slowly revealed himself.

The person stepped forward — black spiky hair fluttering in the wind, shining purple eyes glowing with cruel amusement. He wore a long dark coat and pants, with a slowly rotating timeless clock halo behind his head.

"I am just nothing… But a demon. The Demon of Time… Jin."

The shadows around him melted away completely.

Honokage narrowed his eyes, voice low and dangerous.

"Demon of… Time?"

Jin smiled widely, cruel and playful at the same time.

"Yes…"

Yuki clutched Honokage's wrist tightly, her voice urgent and filled with warning.

"Hono-kun… This entity is too strong… I am feeling something wrong. Don't hurry. Please be careful."

Jin raised both hands wide, as if welcoming them to their doom.

They both tensed, ready for anything.

Jin spelled with dark, theatrical delight:

"Welcome to my Timeless Dimension."

From the ground and sky, massive golden barriers erupted all around them. Chains and towering pillars rose everywhere. The dimension completed itself in a blinding flash of divine light — a massive, unbreakable golden hall where time clocks spun wildly in every direction. Outside the hall, enormous golden clocks rotated like planets in the void.

Honokage's eyes widened in genuine shock.

"What is this…?"

Jin didn't answer with words.

He dashed forward like lightning and threw a punch straight at Honokage's face.

Yuki moved instantly, blocking the punch with her arm. The shockwave echoed through the entire dimension. One of the giant clocks ticked loudly.

Time slowed down to a crawl.

Yuki almost froze in place. Honokage tried to speak but the words wouldn't come.

Jin clenched his fist, a manic, terrifying smile spreading across his face.

He punched Honokage hard in the waist.

Time returned to normal.

The attack hit with devastating force. Honokage bled heavily and clutched his waist, staggering.

Yuki shouted in pure fury and fear.

"Nooo! How dare you!"

She dashed forward, throwing punch after punch at Jin with everything she had.

Jin teleported and countered every strike with mocking ease.

Yuki threw a powerful punch aimed at Jin's face.

The clocks ticked again.

The punch froze mid-air.

Jin countered with a massive kick.

Time returned.

Yuki crashed hard into the golden wall, eyes closed in pain, breathing ragged.

Honokage raised two fingers. Two massive black beams shot toward Jin like spears of night.

Jin blocked them effortlessly and reflected the energy straight back.

Honokage rushed in and threw brutal, desperate punches.

Jin adapted to every strike perfectly.

Time slowed down again.

Jin raised his fist and landed thousands of punches in the slowed time.

Time settled.

The punches slammed into Honokage all at once. His aura shattered like fragile glass. He crashed to the ground, heavily injured and breathing hard.

Jin raised both hands wider, voice echoing with madness and triumph.

"Now… It's time for… Ultimate Timeless Dimension!!"

The dimension began to fade and distort. Smoke and rainbow lights filled everything. Rainbow chains appeared. They were now standing on a giant rainbow clock. Massive monster hands holding time itself emerged from the void around them.

Jin roared with delight.

"Time to end thissss!!!"

He raised his hand high.

"Place of Judgement!"

From every direction, massive rainbow swords descended like the wrath of the gods.

Time slowed to a near standstill.

Honokage teleported in front of Yuki, creating a desperate shield around them both.

Yuki clutched him harder, scared but refusing to let go.

The swords slammed into the shield, getting reflected again and again in brilliant flashes.

Jin teleported behind them and punched with all his power.

The timeless punch shattered the shield completely.

Honokage stomped his fist on the ground. Leviathan hands erupted from below and fired massive black beams at Jin.

Jin raised one hand and absorbed all the energy like it was nothing more than mist.

Honokage rushed forward, throwing desperate punches.

All of them slowed down in the distorted time.

Jin smiled cruelly.

"Worthless… Don't even try. You are doing nothing to me."

Yuki rushed from behind Jin and punched his body with raw strength.

Jin dodged and backed off.

Yuki shouted, voice filled with anger, fear, and love.

"What are you!! Stay away from us!! Go awayyy!"

She continued attacking relentlessly, but Jin dodged every strike with mocking ease.

Jin suddenly grabbed Yuki by the throat and slammed her down hard onto the rainbow clock.

Honokage saw it. His fist clenched so tightly that blood dripped from his palm.

His aura exploded violently — black with crimson lightning now burning even brighter and hotter.

He rushed forward and slammed brutal punches into Jin.

Time ticked again.

He slowed down and stopped completely.

Jin raised his punch and kick.

Time settled.

The attacks hit Honokage, injuring him severely.

Suddenly, in slow motion, the rainbow barrier high above cracked and broke slightly.

From outside the dimension, someone arrived.

Astra.

Astra's hair fluttered slightly in the distorted wind. His gi shone as ever. His face was deadly serious, silver eyes glowing with quiet, burning fury.

He landed gracefully on the giant rainbow clock.

The barrier healed itself instantly behind him.

Jin smirked with dark satisfaction.

"Yes… That's what I wanted! You came by yourself!! Astra… Now hand over your dragon core or I will rip it off myself."

Honokage's voice was weak but shocked.

"Astra? Why are you here!?"

Yuki slowly rose, angry and terrified for him.

"Astra! I told you to go away with the others! This isn't safe!"

Astra got into his fighting position, voice steady despite the fear and exhaustion in his small body.

"No… I can't. I can't let anyone be in danger."

He stared directly at Jin, silver eyes blazing.

"Stay away from them all… And fight me if you want."

Jin smirked wider, clearly enjoying the moment.

"Oh okay okay… Don't be angry, little kid. First answer me — how did you enter the dimension? It's unbreakable…"

Astra's voice was cold and defiant.

"I broke the outside barrier and entered normally… But why do you ask?"

Jin's smile turned dangerous and amused.

"Just… Because it has been 1 week outside."

Honokage's eyes widened in pure horror.

"One… whole… week!?"

Jin smiled.

"It happens because… This dimension is timeless."

Astra clicked his tongue in frustration.

"Tch… It means the Dubai tickets also expired… Only for you, monster!!"

Jin raised his hand. A small orb of distorted time formed and shot toward Astra.

Astra was about to block it.

Suddenly Yuki arrived and took the attack directly on her body, shielding him.

Astra's eyes widened slowly in pure terror and heartbreak.

She fell to the ground, gasping.

His veins popped on his head.

Astra whispered, voice breaking completely.

"Sister… Yuki…"

Jin shot another attack without mercy.

Honokage teleported in front of her. The attack went straight through his chest. His eyes stopped glowing. He stopped responding.

Astra's pupils shrank to pinpricks.

"No no… Honokage too…"

Both of them lay motionless in front of him.

Astra stood alone… completely helpless for the first time.

His teeth gritted harder than ever.

His aura exploded outward — massive silver flames roaring to life around his small body.

His pupils vanished completely.

His muscles tensed violently.

Astra's voice came out low, dangerous, and filled with burning rage that shook the entire dimension.

"You have gone far… Too far… I won't forgive you… Never again."

His aura burned brighter, shifting slowly from silver to intense, roaring orange flames.

His hair began shining, then turned black, then shining again — finally spiking upward into bright orange burning flames that flickered like living fire.

Astra roared with all his soul — a sound that echoed across the broken dimension and beyond.

The whole timeless dimension cracked and started melting away.

Jin stumbled backward in shock.

"What!? What is happening!?"

Astra's aura kept rising, orange flames rotating violently around him like a miniature sun.

His hair burned alive like real flames.

He snapped his eyes open — now glowing bright orange.

His entire gi and shirt had burned away from the sheer power, revealing his small but tensed muscles.

Astra clenched his fist, voice echoing with newfound power.

"This is the transformation… I call it **Super Inferno**."

Jin stared, completely shocked.

"Super… Inferno…? What is this even?"

Astra shouted and charged toward him with unstoppable force.

"Time to die!"

The final, apocalyptic battle began in earnest.

Astra teleported and unleashed a barrage of burning punches.

Jin blocked and countered.

Massive burning bubbles appeared in the sky like atomic explosions, spreading everywhere with roaring echoes.

The night sky glowed orange with flames.

Astra raised his fist. A small shockwave exploded outward.

Jin blocked it and roared.

Jin's eyes glowed. Time clocks appeared behind him.

"I will take your dragon core at any cost!!"

He raised his hand.

Time stopped.

Jin punched at Astra.

Astra blocked the punch easily.

Astra: "This isn't going to work on me…"

He delivered a powerful kick to Jin's face, followed by triple burning kicks.

Jin crashed through multiple buildings of Tokyo.

Astra dashed after him with burning trails.

Honokage watched from afar, injured but awed.

"His power… It's now insane."

Astra continued punching Jin relentlessly.

Jin spilled thick blood with every impact.

Orange flames rose, burning everything in their path.

Astra raised his hand wide. Massive orbs of flames formed.

He threw them at Jin.

Buildings glowed and burned away.

Astra grabbed Jin by the leg and hurled him out into space.

Astra teleported after him.

Jin landed hard on the moon.

Astra landed gracefully, hair flickering like real flames.

Astra wiped blood from his mouth.

"Let's start our final fight."

Jin nodded and attacked.

Astra blocked and dodged every strike.

He blinked. His eyes glowed with flames.

The attack hit Jin without him even moving.

Jin slammed down on the moon with a burning impact.

Astra raised his hand.

"The Burning Inferno Sword!"

A massive flaming sword materialized.

Jin raised his fists and created a time clock to freeze him.

The sword cut through time itself.

Astra roared and shot many burning flame bullets.

The flames burned time itself.

Jin froze by his own power, then fell to one knee.

Astra arrived in front of him, clenching his fist harder.

Astra: "For… Myself!"

He punched Jin's gut with all his strength.

Massive flames leaked from the impact. Jin's atoms began burning.

Jin spilled thick blood.

The moon shattered from the force.

Jin was thrown backward into space.

Astra gathered his arms, one hand on his wrist, charging a flaming orb in the other.

Astra spelled with power:

"Divine Beam…!"

He fired.

A massive orange flame beam erupted.

Jin's eyes widened in shock.

The beam went straight through him.

Jin's whole body dissolved into the beam.

The clocks behind him faded away.

The light in space slowly returned to darkness.

Astra floated in space for a moment, then turned back to base form and teleported to Earth.

**Scene at Paras City**

Astra teleported into the city square, breathing heavily.

He sighed with relief.

"I finally did it."

Blu stood waiting, arms folded.

"Good."

Astra looked up at him, eyes determined.

"Master Blu?"

"Yes?"

"Train me more… I want to be stronger so I can protect other people better than before."

Everyone watching — Uraka, Wano, the rescued citizens — fell silent.

Blu, without hesitation, agreed.

"Alright… I will train you in space."

Astra smiled brightly.

"Thanks."

Blu placed a hand on Astra's head and teleported away with him.

Wano blinked in surprise.

"They gone already!? Like that?"

Uraka sighed, smiling softly.

"I think they both are just like that."

Uraka turned to the Tokyo civilians they had rescued.

"You all can return to Tokyo… The fight is over."

The people asked worriedly.

"But what about the monsters?"

Honokage arrived, gently carrying the injured Yuki in his arms.

"The monsters are done… They are finished."

Uraka smiled.

"Then it's okay… No more danger."

Dawn arrived slowly, painting the sky in soft pinks and golds.

Honokage looked up at the sky, voice thoughtful.

"But I am wondering… Who was that Jin guy? He was that strong?"

Yuki opened her eyes slightly, breathing heavily.

"Are we all okay?"

Honokage nodded.

"Yes, we are."

Yuki looked around weakly.

"Where is Astra?"

Uraka answered.

"He went for training."

Yuki's eyes widened in surprise.

"What!? Now??"

Wano sighed.

Uraka smiled.

"They are just like that… Even Blu too."

Uraka turned back to the people.

"Don't worry. They will return soon."

Yuki looked a bit sad.

"Oh… Okay. But I am wondering why they went for training at this time?"

Honokage gently patted her head.

"You don't need to think much… Astra is now powerful enough to protect everyone."

Yuki looked up at him.

"Really?"

Honokage nodded.

"Yes… He is powerful… Intelligent and has control over his emotions as I saw him now."

Wano yawned.

"Okay, we both are going back to the forest. See you later."

Yuki nodded.

"Okay. See you soon."

Wano and Uraka left.

Honokage looked at Yuki softly.

"Let's go home?"

Yuki nodded, still holding his hand tightly.

"Okay…"

They started walking slowly through the streets.

Yuki held Honokage's hand even tighter.

Honokage noticed.

"What happened?"

Yuki lowered her head slightly, then stepped closer, resting her head on his shoulder.

"I am just happy… You came back… After so many days."

Honokage smiled gently.

"I only came back for you."

Yuki's voice was soft, full of emotion.

"Thank you so much for coming… I missed you too much."

She stayed close, voice barely a whisper.

"So…? What about… going on a date together?"

Honokage froze, turning to her immediately.

"A… date?"

Yuki giggled through her exhaustion.

"Yes… A real date… Together… Only you and me."

Honokage didn't reply at first. He simply kept walking.

Yuki nudged him playfully.

"Heyy!! At least say something."

Honokage sighed, a small smile on his face.

"You are annoying… Fine…"

Yuki smiled brightly, the happiest she had been in weeks.

The sun rose slowly, shining warmly over Paras City.

Light fell on them both as they walked hand in hand — a new beginning after the long night of apocalypse.
