Keyli and Laura were walking around, stopping by a chocolate shop. Keyli wanted to buy a cake as an apology gift for Jerry, regarding her previous words. "Are you sure he'll like it?" Keyli was pointing at other cakes in the display case. "Cheesecake? It looks delicious," Laura said. They both went home with a box of cakes.
Unexpectedly, they were stopped by the shop's cashier, Alex, a former teacher of Keyli's. "Mr. Alex? You're working here?" Keyli was surprised to see him. "Oh, hi Keyli, Laura? How are you? I lost my job," Alex said, looking at Laura with a displeased expression.
"Key, let's go home, my mom's calling," Laura said. "I'm sorry to hear that, see you," Keyli said, and they left.
On their way home, Keyli brought the cake for Jerry, hoping he was home. But the house was quiet, and she remembered Sarah was out of town. She decided to put the cake in Jerry's room. After placing the cake, Keyli closed the door and glanced at Holand's room.
Keyli heard a sound from downstairs, thinking it was Jerry, but it wasn't. "Holand? You're just getting home?" "Yeah, I was looking for a design for the school competition uniform," Holand said.
"You didn't take me with you?" "Why would I?" "I'm part of the team." "You don't need to, you're busy taking care of..."
Jerry appeared at the top of the stairs, stopping when he saw Holand and Keyli. "Jer, can we talk?" Keyli asked. "Sorry, I'm busy," Jerry said, looking at Holand, then pretending not to see and went into his room.
"My words might have hurt you, but I didn't mean to, Jer," Keyli said. "No need to apologize," Jerry said, entering his room, seeing the box of cake on his bed. Cheesecake, which he was allergic to, and he threw it away.
Keyli was swimming, trying to relieve stress from school assignments. Holand was watching her from his room. "What are you doing?" Keyli asked, noticing him. "The weather is windy, but you're swimming?" "I feel hot, and I love swimming," Keyli said.
"Your math grades are dropping?" "How do you know?" "A girl in distress," Holand said.
Keyli got out of the pool, covering herself with a robe. "Want to go with me?" Holand asked, surprising Keyli. "Huh?" "I'll wait outside," Holand said.
Keyli and Holand went out, making Jerry feel jealous when they came home laughing and joking. "Hi, Jer?" Keyli said, but Jerry didn't respond.
"Jer, can you talk to me? You're just being quiet. What's wrong?" Keyli asked. "Nothing, I'm just tired," Jerry said.
"Jer, I apologized, my words hurt you. Can you be a bit more mature and not be like this?" "You're saying you're upset with Holand, but you're going with him?" "We were just talking, it's not a big deal," Keyli said.
"Jerry, you don't have to be like this. We were just talking about school," Keyli said. "No woman can resist my brother's charm," Jerry said.
"Really, I don't have any relationship with him," Keyli said. "I'm a bit jealous," Jerry said, surprising Keyli. "Jealous?" Keyli asked.
"Forget it! Let's go find Laura. I brought cheesecake for her," Jerry said, making Keyli confused.
Sarah came home from out of town with David, seeing Holand alone. "Hi, sweetie, you're still up?" "Not yet, Mom. I'm working on my assignment," Holand said.
"Jerry?" "Maybe he's sleeping," Holand said. "You two are okay, right? I see Jerry's a bit down. Are his grades okay?" Sarah asked, and Holand just swallowed, looking confused.
"I heard from the principal that you and Keyli have the same task?" "Yeah, Mom. I'm in charge of the school competition," Holand said.
Sarah smiled, happy. "I'm proud of you, you're very active."
That night, someone pushed their way into the chocolate shop, scaring Alex, who was trying to find drinks and money from the cashier's desk. He left the shop quickly.
The next morning, Keyli was passing by the shop, seeing a lot of police, causing traffic to jam. "What's happened?" "Looks like a robbery," the driver said.
"That's the shop where Alex works," Keyli said, continuing her journey to school. Many students were looking at the announcement on the wall.
"Keyli, have you seen the news?" Jerry asked, wanting to make up with Keyli. "What news? Why are the students gathering?" Keyli asked.
"Where's Laura? You're not with her?" "I just arrived, and I'm not with Laura," Keyli said. "Laura's mom is having an affair with a man, and the photos are spreading everywhere," Jerry said.
"Madam Grace?" "Laura's gone missing, I've tried calling her, but she doesn't answer," Jerry said. "This will ruin her and her mom's reputation at school."
"But if it's true, I'm worried about Laura. We still need her for school," Keyli said. "You know, in Arkenstone, any bad behavior won't be tolerated."
"But, Jerry, this isn't Laura's fault," Keyli said. "I know, but it's the impact of her mom's actions, and the school's reputation," Jerry said.
"I'll tell my mom to let Laura stay in school," Keyli said. The news spread quickly, including to Sarah, who was shocked that a dedicated teacher had given a bad example to the school.
Keyli kept calling her friend, but she didn't answer. "Are you okay?" Sarah asked, serving strawberry bread and warm milk.
"I'm actually missing Laura, but I can't find her. Maybe because of her mom's case, she's not coming to school," Keyli said. "I know you care about your friend, so don't waste your time. You need to focus on other things," Sarah said.
"I think I know where Laura is," Jerry said, and Sarah and Keyli looked at him. "Are you sure Laura is there?" Keyli asked, as she and Jerry were in the car, heading to the place.
"I've known Laura for a long time. When she's in trouble, she always goes there," Jerry said. "I know Laura must be feeling lonely. She wanted to go to Harvard, but her mom's actions ruined her dreams," Keyli said.
"Let's hope we can find her there," Jerry said. They both took a break at a rest area, and Jerry gave Keyli a drink. "Strawberry juice," Keyli smiled, seeing Jerry was willing to make up.
"I thought you were still mad at me. I'm glad you forgave me," Keyli said. "I just needed some time to calm down. I don't have the right to be mad at you," Jerry said.
"You were mad at me?" "I thought you were perfect for my brother, and I didn't have the right to interfere," Jerry said.
"I don't have any relationship with Holand. We're just friends, talking about school," Keyli said. "No woman can resist my brother's charm," Jerry said.
"Really, I don't have any feelings for him," Keyli said. "I'm a bit jealous," Jerry said, surprising Keyli.
"Cemburu?" Keyli asked. "Forget it! Let's go find Laura. I brought cheesecake for her," Jerry said, making Keyli confused.
The journey would take two more hours. Jerry occasionally glanced at Keyli. "Did you tell Holand you're going with me?" "I didn't get a chance to talk to him. Why would I care what he thinks?" Keyli said.
"I don't want to make him mad because you're going with me," Jerry said. "Mad at you? I don't have any relationship with Holand," Keyli said.
"Are you sure he doesn't have feelings for you?" Jerry asked. "Yeah, I think so," Keyli said, making Jerry happy.
Jerry stopped the car and said, "I have feelings for you, Keyli," making Keyli shocked.
