[Five Centuries after the descent and the chaos era]
[Spectra City, The Free Federation]
In an Alley.
"take this you punk" a boy is punched in the face and he stumbles backward but then he thrusts his own fist's forward and lands a blow at his attacker's nose which knocks him down but then a kick came flying from behind and hits him on the head.
He lets out a groan as he falls to the floor face first but shielding a cat like creature in his arms as he fell to the floor.
"Zack, I told you this was a bad idea!!" Falling to the floor by his side was a boy who had a brown short hair and this hairstyle was a low fade cut and light brown eyes as he had dirt on his face and having a short-pointed nose which fixed perfectly on his face and his skin complexion was light brown.
"Well I couldn't just watch it die" the boy named Zack replied as multiple boots kicked him while he shielded the cat like creature with his arms from the attacks.
Both boys where been kicked nonstop as they endured the brute attacks on them as they shielded the most important parts of their body from harm.
"How do you like this huh? Were that's fighting spirit huh, you weaklings!!" the boy who got punched in the nose spoke as he held his nose which was bleeding and a twisted expression of pain plastered on his face.
"Beat the crap out of them, he dared to break my nose" the boy ordered his minions and they continued their assaults on the two boys, it was four against two.
"Hey!! What are you boys doing?" Suddenly a voice echoes through the alley and the boys stopped in their attacks.
(A savior comes to our aid, thank goodness) the boy with brown hair on the floor had a grateful expression as he heard the voice and they all turned to look at who the voice belonged to and when their eyes fell on the person the boys beating up the two on the floor were instantly shocked.
"It's…...Mr. Sam!!" one of the boys blurted out.
Standing in the opposite direction of the alley was man who had a short black hair and grey eyes which held a cold gaze in them and muscular in body frame as the outline of his abs could see from beneath his cloth.
The boy's expression was replaced by fear as they saw the man and immediately the boys turned around and took to their heels through the other side of the alley.
"finally, it's over" the boy whose name was Zack said with relief as he looked at the cute cat like creature in his arms which rubbed its head against his arm as the creature made a purring sound like a cat.
The boy had a jet black hair as dark as the night and blue eyes which held beauty in them, a short-pointed nose of the right size and a perfect Jawline as his face was oval in shape almost barely close to a V-shape and he was fair skinned.
His hair was ruffed and his clothes stained with dirt as a result of the fight they had gotten into.
"I can't believe we went through this all because of a cat!!" The boy with brown hair had look of disbelief on his face as he looked at Zack holding the cat like creature in his arms.
"Alex chill" Zack said to the boy whose names turns out to be Alex.
"Hey are you boys okay?" the man named Sam walked towards both of them as he asked.
"Yep, just a few sore spots, we will be fine and we are glad you showed up" Alex spoke as he had an expression of relief.
"So how come you guys got into a fight?" Mr. Sam asked
"Well if someone here didn't decide to play hero to save a cat!" Alex answered as he gestured his hands towards Zack.
"Zack, seriously just for a cat and you both got beaten up" Mr. Sam had a look of surprise on his face as he asked him.
"Well Mr. Sam just looking at the poor thing to die was unbearable" Zack replied as he caressed the Cat like creature in his arms, the creature had a pure white fur with stains of dirt and its ears stood straight up with hairs at the tip of its ear.
The creature was furry and had a short tail and light blue eyes, on the creatures fore head was a crescent shape which was blue in color.
"This does not really look like a cat" Mr. Sam examined the creature in Zack's arms as the creature purred softly and rubbing its head against Zack's arm, a thank you gesture to its savior.
"Yep it sure doesn't" Zack looked at the cute creature in his arms as curiosity beamed in his eyes.
"Mr. Sam I was just an innocent bystander, yet l got beaten" Alex played a victim wronged.
"Well I didn't force you to fight with me" Zack grinned.
"Just you wait, next time I will just watch by while they beat you up" Alex promised him.
"But aren't you boys supposed to be on your way to the awakening ceremony" Mr. Sam said to them.
That's when both boys suddenly remembered their original purpose and looked at themselves
"Ah Shit!!" They said in sync.
"Mr. Sam thank you for arriving just right on time but now I need to go run back and drop this kitten with my sister" Zack said to Mr. Sam whose hands were in his pocket.
"wait you are going back home?" Alex was in stupor when he heard Zack's words
"Yep"
"Arghh!! Why you" Alex placed his hands on his head in frustration
"then you can forget about seeing Sora ever again" Zack said to him with a serious face
"Ah, bro please noooo!!!" Alex held Zack by the leg
"then follow me home!"
"Alright I will" Alex reluctantly agreed

Meanwhile Sam was just speechless as he watched the two boys with their behavior on display.
"We gotten run Mr. Sam" Zack said and he turned and ran with Alex following behind him as they both ran to the alley's exit.
"Zack say hello to your Mom for me" Mr. Sam yelled out to Zack.
"Sure thing Mr. Sam" Zack replied back as he and Alex ran out of the alley into the streets
"If Mr. Sam had not shown up, I doubt we will have been able to come out of that without a broken Bone" Alex said to Zack as they ran.
"Yeah you are right and Mr. Sam has a zero tolerance for street fighting or bullying in the neighborhood" Zack replied as he held the creature in his hands, firmly with care.
"And on top that his an Abilitan with a C-rank ability" Alex said
"his known as the sheriff of this parts by the entire neighborhood. Seeing him in the neighborhood looks like his taking a break from those stuff" Zack said as his eyes were focused forward as he ran
"I guess so, but this is all you fault in the first place. If you had quit the hero act, we wouldn't have gotten beaten up" Alex was still annoyed.
"Do you wanna still see Sora" Zack said to him with a mischievous grin.
"Yes!" Alex piped down as they ran through streets.
They raced through their neighborhood, a decent, average-class area with cobblestone-like streets and lamp posts. The architecture was a symphony of futuristic curves and sleek lines, buildings reaching ten or fifteen floors high. Holographic billboards advertised everything from Nexus-Cola to the latest hoverboard models. Above them, sleek, silent aircrafts glided between buildings, a sight that would have been a pure fantasy five centuries ago.

A teenage girl is seated on a chair as on the table before her was a note which she was writing although she was struggling right now as she could not think of what to write next as beads of sweat gathered at her fore head as her pen was suspended in her hand before the note.
"I can barely think of what to write next" she lamented to herself as a smartphone was beside her.
She had a Black hair which was long but she tied it in a pony tail style currently and a pair of beautiful blue eyes which sparkled like a gem of untamed beauty, a pair of eyes one would stop to look at and she had a small nose with peach lips which looked so soft and tender and an oval shaped face.
Her beauty was heaven on earth and cuteness fused with beauty, a beauty crafted by the creator with care and time. Even her blossoms were perfect in size, she wore a button up shirt and she folded the sleeves of the shirt to her arms, the shirt holding her melons in place and she wore a tight blue trouser which the outline of her curves were visible.
The entrance to the balcony behind her was open as the glass slider was pushed aside. Letting the cool breeze to flood in and with a loud stomp someone lands on the balcony and this caused her to be startled as the pen fell from her hand as she was about to put something down on the note.
"Hey little sis" Zack called out to her and Alex landing after, then a vein pooped on her head as she clenched her fists
"For Christ sake brother, can't you use the damn door for once" She suddenly yelled at them.
"Hi Sora" Alex greeted with a shy look
"And you both have made the idea which just came now run back to where it came it from, do you both know how grueling of task it is writing this project work of mine given by my teacher!!" She pointed her fingers at both of them
"But Sora am innocent" Alex said
"Hm, I don't care" She replied and Alex felt wronged then he looked at Zack as he felt like punching him in the face right now as Zack just stood smiling.
"And now I hav-"
"Well look what I got for you" Zack cut her off before she could get a chance to finish her word and showed her the creature in his arms and the eyes of the girl named Sora immediately lit up as she saw the cute cat like creature in the arms of her brother.
Zack Stepped in and Alex following behind him and Sora stood up as her brother approached her.
"Uhhh, it's so cute" Her eyes were filled with glitters as she looked at the cat like creature and even proceeding to pat it on the head and the creature without fear nudged its head against her hand, taking a likening to her instantly.
"Well that was fast" Zack was surprised at the creature's instant trust.
"Where did you find him" Sora asked as she kept on patting the it.
"Well it was about to be kicked to death when I stepped in although I got beaten up but thanks to Mr. Sam stepping in, we managed to come out well" Zack said to her.
"Sora even I was beaten too, for bravely standing beside Zack and even shielding the cat from a deadly blow that would have ended its life" Alex narrated to her as he made hand gestures
"really!! That's so great of both of you" She was touched and looked at them carefully as their hair was a mess and their faces stained with dirt

Zack was left speechless was he heard Alex's narration even the cat like creature showed the same expression as Zack
"Well from no, he is in your care now" Zack handed the cat like creature to his Sister who received the creature in her arms with a smile and the cat rubbing its head against her blossoms and purring.
"He doesn't really look like a cat" Sora said as she took a closer at the creature in her arms.
"Yeah he doesn't but maybe we will find out later, for now let's focus on its recovery" Zack said to her as he ran this hand through his hair
"You are right bro; he really needs it right now" Sora replied to him as she looked at the sore spots on the creature's body and part of its fur stained with dirt.
"I gotta change this stained jacket into another one, I will be right back Alex" Zack said to Alex.
"Don't worry bro, take your time" Alex said with a smile
"Are you the one saying this right now?" Zack could not believe his ears and squinting his eyes at Alex and began walking backwards as he kept his eyes on Alex while Sora was in the midst of caressing the creature

Alex was lost for words at Zack's expression.
"I got my eyes on you" Zack made a hand gesture at Alex

Then Zack disappeared into hallway but popped his head out by the side and made the hand of gesture of I got my eyes on you and went back. Alex just felt tired
"Phew, finally his gone" Alex breathed relief and then he turned to Sora who was busy giving attention to the creature in her arms.
"Ehem so... Sora what project are you actually putting together" Alex asked.
"oh, my project work, well it's about the study of the descent and the waves of disasters that came with it" she said to him as she placed the creature on the table.
Meanwhile Zack was rummaging through some clothes as he searched for something.
"Ah, c'mon where I keep this jacket?" He was stressed until his eyes caught the sight of red jacket beneath a pile of neatly folded clothes.
"Ha! Found it" he grabbed the jacket from beneath the clothes and put on, the jacket design felt straight out of cyberpunk endgame runners.
Then he looked at the time on his smart phone and his eyes widened in shock
"CRAP!!!" then he dashed out of the room.
"Woah this one hell of a project of work" Said Alex as he read the note in his hand.
"It sure is but also its fun reading and studying history of over five hundred years old that's until you and my brother badged in" She told Alex who looked with stupor at this beauty before him.
"Alex!! We have 25 minutes to get school for the awakening" Zack yelled to Alex as he ran towards him.
"What!!" Alex was surprised
"You both you need to hurry quick" Sora said to them.
"Yeah we will" Alex scratched the back of his head as he spoke and Zack ran past him and was at the balcony ready to leap only to look back and find Alex still talking with Sora.
"This Bastard!!" Zack had a jaded expression on his face.
Zack swooped in, locking Alex in a headlock from behind and dragging him toward the balcony. "To hell with the words, bro!"
"I haven't finished my sentence!" Alex complained, flailing.
"See you later, Sora! Tell Mom I stopped by!" Zack called. In one smooth motion, he tossed a protesting Alex off the balcony and then leapt after him.
Sora rushed to the railing. "Alright! Wish you both an outstanding Awakening!" she shouted after the two figures now racing across the rooftop skyline.
Jumping on air conditions and landing on ventilation systems to twisting and jumping over railings and even on people's balconies.
"Oi you brats not my balcony!!" A middle age woman shouted at both of them as they landed on her balcony scaring the cats who were having a peaceful nap before jumping to the next.
"Sorry Aunty Mei" Zack said out loud to her as he and Alex jumped, executing their parkour moves.
"I can't believe you have gotten better than me who introduced you to parkour" Alex said with surprise in eyes as Zack placed his hand on a railing, twisted and jumped over and landed on his feet below.
"Well what do you expect" Zack had smug look on his face.
"Whatever" Alex rolled his eyes "So how in God's name do we plan on getting to the awakening ceremony on time?" Alex asked
"Well we are gonna hitch a ride" Zack smiled
"Hey don't tell me…"
"Yep we take the train" Zack said to him.
"You have gone nuts, remember we in't got shit in our pockets, how do you expect us to board a train?" Alex was just confused.
"Who said anything about getting a boarding ticket" a smirk curved on Zack's lips
"Wait a minute? Don't tell me we are doing that!!" Alex immediately understood what Zack meant
"Yeh we are doing it!" Zack smiled as he increased his pace and meters away was the sounding of a train horn, a signal to those that the train was leaving. Zack and Alex closed in on the train station as they increased their speed and executing parkour moves almost unbelievable to the eyes that a man taking a chill on his balcony widened his eyes in shock as two boys jumped over his balcony to the next building top.
Running forward they reached the train station area but then they heard the final blow of the train horn.
"Zack, the train is leaving" Alex exclaimed
"let's head for the tracks" Zack told Alex who was stunned at his words
Alex and Zack made a detour as they ran forward with all might and following beside the railway tracks as a train made its way.
Running beside the tracks was Alex and Zack as they ran before the train which hadn't increased its speed yet, the train's design was something totally out of fiction, a fantasy for the people of the old era. The train's design was sleek, aero dynamic and futuristic that even the wheels of the train could not be seen, it felt like the train was floating above the tracks and its color neon.
Zacks eyes caught sight of an overhead bridge above the tracks which was short in length.
"Over there!!" Zack pointed to the bridge
Alex just followed behind Zack as they both ran towards the overhead bridge. On getting to the bridge, Zack stopped at the center and Alex doing same. They both looked ahead as the train mad its way to them.
"So, what now?" Alex asked
"We just wait" Zack replied and little by little the train made its way towards them and then it was when the train was about passing beneath the bridge that Zack said
"This is it now!" Zack turned the other way and stood on the bridge getting ready to jump.
"Wait a sec! don't tell we are jumping on a freaking moving train!!" Alex was in stupor over his friend's decision.
"You wanna trek?" Zack asked him
"Nope" then Alex climbed too getting ready to jump and Zack keeping his eyes on the track waiting for the nose of the train to enter his view and so it did, the train passing beneath the Bridge.
"Now!!!"
In unison, they leapt. For a heart-stopping second, they were airborne. with a thud they landed on the roof of the moving train, stumbling but upright.
"Zack never will I listen to you again, cuz your plans are crazy dude!" Alex exhaled out as he laid his back on the train.
"Well we did make it, right?" Zack smiled as he sat down on the train
"having hoverboards would have been much better" Alex said a sigh
"Those things are way damn expensive" Zack said as he looked at the sky
"Yep you are right" Alex just nodded
The train increased its speed as it ran through the tracks and the hairs of both boys fluttering in the wind and the wind whipping against their faces as of today, they were looking forward to an event that will change their lives forever and make them surpass the limits of humans.
Going upwards and taking an aerial view was the city, years passed by as the face of the this spectacular city had changed over the years as the city had taken on the look of a futuristic utopia as skyscrapers towered towards the sky like pillars with electronic and holographic billboards hung on them and buildings packed together like a wonderful piece of art and aircrafts resembling spaceships soared across the city skyline.
The city was endless and huge, that you could not see its beginning and its end, it felt like looking onto a vast plain covered with buildings of all kinds even the walls which surround the city impossible to see, a futuristic city utopia only a mere fantasy and fiction five hundred years ago and an eagle covered in flames soared in the skies above this city of wonder.
