Chapter 32 - 32

Several days passed.

Tundra was bored.

Waiting for a custom-built spacecraft was far more tedious than he had anticipated. He had exhausted every reasonable way to pass the time.

Eventually, his boredom grew intolerable. He left the star system entirely, drifting until he found a small, barren, uninhabitable planet.

He hovered above it, studying its surface.

Why does something so useless even exist?

There were no valuable metals in its crust. No life. Nothing but a modest planetary core — and even the planet itself was small.

Then his thoughts shifted.

What if he made it valuable?

He certainly had the power.

Slowly, he released an enormous wave of ki, engulfing the planet entirely.

His energy wrapped around it like a second shell.

Then he began to compress.

The ki pressed inward as he focused, sealing gaps, reinforcing weak points, steadily crushing the planet beneath unimaginable pressure.

The world shrank.

Smaller.

Denser.

Until it reached its physical limit — matter refusing further compression.

Tundra felt it.

But what if he increased the heat?

He poured even more ki around the first layer, imbuing it with the same violent intent he used in ki blasts.

The temperature spiked instantly.

The planet glowed.

Then melted.

Its crust collapsed into molten slag, compressing further under his control, shrinking into a sphere barely larger than its original core.

He pushed the heat to its maximum threshold before slowly guiding the condensed mass away from its parent star, ensuring it would collide with nothing along the way.

Then he withdrew the destructive heat — but maintained the compression.

The molten sphere began cooling under pressure.

Slowly, it stabilized.

It pulsed.

And then—

It ignited.

A miniature star, generating its own heat under impossible density.

Far away, two figures stared into a crystal orb in stunned silence.

They looked at one another.

How could a mortal possess such power?

One of them spoke up

"Such power, couldn't he help defeat Majin Buu once and for all?"

The other hesitated. A mortal could not be trusted with matters of divine importance.

But then again…

Tundra might be the most influential mortal in the universe.

Perhaps they should see him in person.

They both reached the same conclusion.

They would pay him a visit.

__

Tundra maintained the miniature star's structure, slowly recuperating while keeping it stable.

Then he noticed something in his peripheral vision.

Two figures.

He turned sharply, confused.

He could not sense any ki from them.

"Who are you?" he asked cautiously, never loosening his control over the star.

The smaller of the two — a purple-skinned youth with a white mohawk — stepped forward.

"My name is Shin. I am the Supreme Kai of this universe."

The taller one, a pink-skinned man with long white hair, inclined his head.

"And I am Kibito, attendant to the Supreme Kai."

Shin glanced at the miniature star and extended a hand toward it.

"Allow me to assist you."

Though it required greater effort for him than for Tundra using ki, magic was far more suited for such tasks.

Immediately, Tundra felt the pressure against his ki vanish.

The star no longer resisted.

He carefully withdrew his energy and began recovering properly.

"Thank you… Supreme Kai."

He did not know precisely what a Supreme Kai was — but the title carried weight.

Kibito nodded approvingly. That was the minimum respect required from a mortal.

Shin smiled warmly.

"It is no trouble, Emperor Tundra."

The acknowledgment was deliberate. A mortal who had single-handedly raised the universe's mortal level deserved proper recognition.

Tundra returned the nod. Shin seemed cordial — he appreciated that.

"If I may ask, what is it you want from me?"

Shin straightened slightly.

"We observed your extraordinary power and wish to request your assistance. There exists a being known as Majin Buu — a creature of pure evil who threatened the entire universe millions of years ago."

Tundra listened calmly. That sounded like a problem he might eventually have to address regardless.

"I see. Then tell me everything about this Majin Buu."

Shin's expression brightened subtly.

"Thank you, Emperor Tundra. Majin Buu is currently sealed away on Earth. He possesses extreme regenerative abilities — being able to regenerate even from a single cell."

Tundra frowned slightly. That complicated matters.

"If he is sealed, why not relocate him somewhere more secure?"

Shin stiffened at the suggestion.

"We dare not risk breaking the seal. If it were disrupted, Majin Buu could be freed."

The fear in his voice was unmistakable.

Tundra nodded. Shin was cautious — almost paranoid — but it was understandable.

"That is reasonable. Then tell me… how powerful is he?"

Shin visibly shuddered.

"He… was roughly as strong as you are now. Even though millions of years have passed, I cannot forget that power."

Tundra's expression darkened.

If their strength was comparable, victory would be almost impossible.

He needed to grow stronger.

"Supreme Kai," he began carefully, "I mean no disrespect. But if you are willing, this could benefit us both. I believe I am still lacking in power. If you would train with me… that may change."

Kibito inhaled sharply.

A mortal training with a Supreme Kai was unheard of.

But if Tundra truly rivaled Majin Buu, this might be their only chance.

Shin hesitated.

If Tundra and Majin Buu were equals, destroying Buu might be impossible without further growth.

And if all that was required… was training.

He met Tundra's eyes.

"Very well," Shin said. "I will train with you."
