"How could I, Director? It's not like I'm the type to jack up my price on the spot.
"Let's just stick to the contract. But please, don't have the host cue me anymore. I'm a complete amateur; how can I keep spouting random critiques?"
Anyone who could make a name for themselves these days was no fool. The director got the hint.
"I'll contact your agent immediately. We'll change the contract right away. It's settled, then."
After saying his piece, the director quickly ended the call, afraid Riley Perry would raise her price again.
Then he immediately contacted Joanna to come over and sign a supplementary contract.

Thomas Lynch had always assumed Riley Perry would retire from the entertainment industry after having a child, but to his surprise, she returned to work right after giving birth.
