Cole Sinclair shook his head, amused. "Yes, you have my full support! Think about it. If I had planned on agreeing, would I have made Butler Warren wait a whole day?"
He could have just sent them away immediately, but he didn't want to!
He specifically wanted to make that couple wait at home, so he deliberately wouldn't give an answer.

After turning them away, Butler Warren came back to report. "Madam, they've been sent away. If Madam Wyatt comes to see the children in person, should we still refuse her entry?"
"Of course. If they come, call me. They are not to see the children without my permission."
After she finished speaking, she shot a stern glare at Cole Sinclair. He immediately nodded. "Just listen to my wife. Do whatever she says."
