"Shen Xin, sorry about this."
As he led Shen Xin to the interrogation room, York apologized again.
"Don't worry about it. I understand," Shen Xin said, waving his hand dismissively.
This only made York feel more embarrassed, so he changed the subject. He pointed out that since arriving in the United States, Shen Xin had been so busy with the case and searching for the wolfdog that he hadn't had a chance to enjoy himself.
Now that the case was closed, York said he wanted Shen Xin to stay a few more days. He offered to make all the arrangements to ensure Shen Xin had a great time.
"Sounds good."
Shen Xin had no objections to this.
'He had already planned on it, anyway. He'd thought of it as a small honeymoon before the wedding, a chance to bring Ding Yuwei to see the United States.'
'Take Yellowstone National Park, for example. They had scoured the entire park while searching for the wolfdog, but he hadn't actually had a chance to *see* it.'
